  1. That's about as good as we could have hoped for in terms of recovery time: back in the roster in December with a few weeks to get back into game shape and ready to roll in the playoffs
  2. Usually I like to bask in a win for a bit but this is a game people have had circled since the schedule dropped. I'd say the biggest effect is in whether the Bills make a push to get the one seed or prioritize being healthy because honestly I'd prefer another rematch in Arrowhead rather than the Ravens anywhere
  3. But the Bills get called when their opponents ran their heads into Bills players
  4. He's held up better than I thought but I'd really rather prefer him as a WR 4 than our primary vertical threat
  5. Yeah but Spencer Brown spoke coarsely to a guy after a different late hit on Josh and we all know that's so much worse
  6. The Bills really need to draft another WR next year, even if they decide to bring Cooper back short term.
  7. I love Coleman but I was listening to the radio broadcast. They flat out said that the Colts were sitting on those check down routes because they weren't respecting any vertical threat. Cooper is that.
  8. We missed Cooper and Coleman badly. I really hope they are good to go next week.
  9. If I was a prospective GM and my one shot waslooking at these two salary caps? I'm Picking the Browns. The big, big problem with the Browns (not counting ownership) is the utter millstone that is the Watson contract. It's bad, but the Broncos got out of similar straights with Wilson and are doing ok. The Browns have the rollover to suck it up and have a couple vets whose contracts are up in 2026 meaning they are great trade deadline pieces to accumulate assets and reset your cap. 2025 would be brutal. 2026 would be rough. 2027 you are clear salary and if you're smart be flush with young talents and picks.
  10. Bengals. The Ravens are looking scary to me. I feel good enough that the Bills can shred the Bengals D if they manage the playoffs which is no sure thing. Bengals have two games vs the Steelers and other wild card hopefuls in the Broncos and Chargers so it's not like they have an easy road if they split with Baltimore
  11. Honestly it's better than I thought. If I'm the Bills I rest him and try to have the full crew ready for KC. Worst case if they are looking at this as days not weeks then if KC is out there is the bye to get 100%
  12. Hey! I'm pretty practices myself! ...wait
  13. Anything on this at all? All I have is speculation that it's a sprain or a hurt tendon
  14. I keep remembering Week 18 last year which I think sums up McDaniel as a coach. The Dolphins come in putting both Achane and Mostert in the backfield and Tua starts doing this little pop handoff which effectively makes it a read option between two capable backs and they just tear through the Bills defense...in the first half. In the second, McDermott decides to stop trying to read the run and just goes for penetration knowing they are going to get burned and relying on TFL to keep the Phins behind the sticks. Instead of adjusting, McDaniel kinda gave it up and went back to Tua passing and their offense falls apart in the second half. Brilliant play design. Other than today, piss poor situational awareness.
  15. Legitimately that was the best I've seen the Dolphins play is in the McDaniel era. Achane is going to haunt us for years. Tua missed 3 total passes. They were dialed in and hitting hard and not allowing anything deep. McDaniel didn't forget that he has a run game. And even with some incredible refball they still came up short
  16. As I think about it I think you're likely right. An X-ray would rule out a break but they'd likely want an MRI to diagnose a sprain and would likely want to rest overnight to get a clearer look.
  17. Seriously though has anyone heard anything? X-rays are pretty quick I have to think they have some ideas by now
  18. I said it before, I'll say it again: Davis has shown enough that I trust him more as the primary back. I want to see more of Cook as a Kamara or CMC
  19. Like it or not, that's been the gameplan vs the Dolphins the entire McDaniel tenure. Honestly this was the first time i can remember he didn't go galaxy brain and force the pass
  20. that is now knowing the result. i know analytics says take the xp, i was just being a doomer. i still can't believe bass drilled it
  21. the good news is that it might have been. Phins are 2-6 with games against the Rams, Packers, Texans and Niners, plus a desperate Jets twice. With the tiebreaker secure the Bills need a combination of 4 wins or Phins losses to eliminate their chances at the division.
  22. Honestly I thought they would. Nothing the Bills D was doing at that moment seemed to even slow them. It would have been so Billsy to lose on a closing kick
  23. I'm slightly younger, I just got it on home VHS when I was 5 or under. I brought it to woman who watched us before I could go to school because I really liked it and thought it would be fun. Man, in the 80s and 90s PG actually meant something
  24. Yeah, now that it's over and I'm through it, I have to give it to the Dolphins. They knew that a loss would effectively shut out their chances for he division and they brought it while the Bills obviously didn't (in a reverse of last game). Tua was humming and Achane is going to haunt us for years. But they're going to have an uphill climb to even sniff a wild card at the moment.
  25. I wasn't nervous at all Me the entire 4th quarter:
