He looks skinnier than TO still. The key though is in the text "gained 6 lbs this week" That kind of weight gain is not the type that will last through a 21 week season (including bye week and 4 pre season games). Maybe he can play SS?

Dansby just wasnt let go. He was franchise tagged twice I believe. These FAs are worth the money they get paid. Thats the going rate now a days. The league is so big and popular and the $$$ its generating is going to the players. (that WR the Lions signed is over paid though) How is it that one of the leagues best WRs in Boldin making 7 a year is too much, yet we ay Lee Evans 9+ The league is different now and great LBs like Dansby now cost 8 mil a season. Great WR cost 7 mil a season. Great QBs 12+. Get ready because the second there is a rookie salary cap the contracts these FAs sign are going up by about 50% - the new CBA wont let all that money now going unspent on rookies go straight to the owners pockets. Cutting fat off the roster? They went out and tendered Ellison. Kelsay and Parrish havent been cut, and Schobel hasnt been traded/cut. In fact they havent made a single cut. How is that cutting any fat? Yes we are rebuilding. Who says that say - Larry Foote - wouldnt help us rebuild? He has played for Pittsburg for years, playing for THE KING of the 3-4 Defense. He would be a coach on the field for our young bad team. Many are failing to recognize the incredible importance of quality veteran leadership. Kevin Mawae could do the same for our OL. AKA he could teach Levitre/Wood/our 2 to-be-drafted rookie OL what it takes to win and how to prepare at the NFL level. Rebuilding does not mean get all young rookies. It means building a championship caliber team that will compete year in and year out. If you want to do that, then you need even turnover on the roster - you cant have all young guys. This team does not have one veteran leader worth a damn on it. Not on O, and not on D. Who is going to help our young guys transition and teach them to win? The logic is this thread is off on many levels.

The Autograph thing wasnt like him walking down the street or at practice signing stuff. It was a scheduled autograph signing session for people who wanted to pay for autographs. I mean really, "Tebow appeared Saturday at Palm Beach Autographs" It was held at an autograph store! That other portion wen to the store, not Tebows bank account.
-
If you won the Powerbal -- you would buy the Bills If Tebow can fix his throwing motion -- would you want the Bills dt draft him? I said it was a hypothetical situation, theres no reason to get mad and defensive about it.

Well, I am 100% confident I could go into FA and not sign anyone.

PFT now reporting (via Schefter) Bills contact Porter
High Mark replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sadly that statement is true of the Bill as well, except that all happened over ten years ago and we still have not recovered. -
Report: Bills pay Kelsay $500,000 roster bonus
High Mark replied to bobcat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a sign the Bills FO denying the fact they are rebuilding. -
Why are so many people assuming....
High Mark replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you are so hopelessly optimistic and that out of touch with reality that you actually think the Bills are going to be good this year, then please "don't waste your time watching this team, and posting threads on a buffalo bills fansite." -
Clearly you missed me saying "hypothetically speaking"

Any idea what we're doing w/ Stroud?
High Mark replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Was it ever annouced what kind a 3-4 Edwards runs? Is it a more attacking 1 gap style like Wade Phillips or more of a two gapper like Dick Lebeaus? Either way Stroud will play DE. -
The Steelers have won more SBs than any team, including 2 recently. They have always been a running and D team. Sanchez did everything he could hold the Jets back this season and they still went to the AFC Champ game. There is more than one way to win.
-
there is a difference between running a good 40 and playing LT. Lateral quickness is key.
-
Id rather forfeit my first round pick than take Davis or Campbell.
-
I cant see why everyone hates him so much. If he can fix his throwing motion from his Jan bowl game to his March pro day (I am speaking hypothetically), then think of how good he will be in 3 years. The dude is too good to fail. He has every single thing going to for - everything you cannot teach. throwing motions you can teach. And to the thought that he cannot make a read. Floridas system is very complicated and advanced. The step from that sytem to a pro one is not as great as one might think - evidenced by Percy Harvins and Louis Murphys productive rookie seasons. Now dont get me started on the reads he had to make running the ball.

Not to stick up for the media, but...
High Mark replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Joey Porter, that NT from SD, and Mawae are still out there and would help this team immensely. Dansby, Kevin Walter, that G from NE, Banta-Cain, and Scott Fujita are guys who have signed with other teams but would have helped us out immensely too. Those are all guys off the top of my head, I am sure there are more. Also, trades could be made, or at least looked into, for Gaither/McNiel/Merriman and others. The off season is not limited to FAs, trades count too. The media is surprised such a sh*t team hasnt done sh*t. -
A Bills Team That Could Compete
High Mark replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hangartner was one of the Bills worst lineman last season. In fact, some website made up some stat and he was the center in the league last season. yes in the ENTIRE league! Wood is moving to center because Hangartner is so dang bad we would rather have a hole at G than him starting any longer! -
Is Anybody Getting Season Tickets This Year?
High Mark replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im not. I have vowed that my next Bills home game will be a playoff game. If they get to a game where the last week of the season they are in a "win and you're in" scenario, I may break that vow, but thats the only way. Ralph shows no commitment to winning so I show no commitment to his stadiums attendance. I havent missed a game since that first Rob Johnson 3-13 season, when I vowed not to watch a game if they cut Flutie, and I dont plan on missing one this year. Im not thrilled about all the fans filling Scrooges pockets will their hard earned money, but this is America and you can do what you want. I just hope you realize what you are doing. -
I would still take a T at 9. I never thought Gaither was as good as advertised, and if Balt is considering moving him then they must agree. That doesnt mean I dont want Gaither on my team though. Him and Bulaga would be a dream scenario with an open competition for who is left, who is right. Trade them 2nd, 5th, Whitner, Schobel, Kelsay, and Ellison if they want them. Then send a 3rd or 4th for big Rogers in Cle. too please.

More like Rut ru Bills. The Dolphins have a smart man running their team. They will certainly be proactive adressing their NT position now. That means 1 less FA or rookie NT that the Bills can pursue.

PFT says DT Shaun Rogers could be traded
High Mark replied to Tsaikotic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
how old is Big Pat. He is still playing at a PB level. -
Why are we keeping 4-3 players on our payroll?
High Mark replied to Billsfan=pain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The flaw in your logic is that you assume the will be Bills adding 3-4 players. Its FA, they arent doing that. -

High Mark replied to Tsaikotic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This was confirmed by ESPN. They are actively seeking to trade him is what I took from it. We need help Buddy. -

We are all thinking the same thing. I would add Parrish to your list as well.
