Way to make things up.

I agree. The owners have literally 1 Billion dollar investments in these teams. They expect a return on that investment, and when the sum of money is that high it better be a damn high return. Add in the stadium costs and the fact most teams rely on taxpayer money to maintain them, I say owners and tax payers get screwed. Give the owner more of the profit and make them maintain their own dang stadiums and give the taxpayers back their money. With the profit the NFL turns, hell should be freezing over before local governments give them a handout. Also if owner got more of the tv money, they could theoretically lower ticket prices and give the game back to the fans. Its not a problem in Buffalo, but it is in many cities. Maybe that is something the league should consider

Mock drafts are different than his player rankings. Im sure none of them think Bruce Campbell is #8 material, but they have him their because it the Oakland "combine workout" Raiders.

Anthony Davis skips Rutgers pro day drills
High Mark replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Andre Smith err I mean Mike Williams anyone? I will say it again, I never heard a 2nd scout EVER consider Davis a top 10 pick. Other than McShay, no one ever liked this guy. McShay is a maroon. -
Watching Cleveland I could see the problem was not Quinn. Im not saying Quinn is our answer, but he was not Clevlands problem. If I am GM Quinn is already a Bills and the press conference is scheduled for yesterday. I would rather give up a late round pick than Donte. 5th and 7th for Quinn perhaps. Id rather have Donte than those types of picks.

Wonderlic scores for the 2010 QB Prospects
High Mark replied to prissythecat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All it really means is Tebow doesnt have the vocabulary and understanding of geometry/algebra that Fitzpatric has. Thats all those tests really are, with some riddles mixed it. I have had to take the Wonderlic before thats all it is. If your major was math or science based you will do well on it, you will do worse if you studied history. One could be naturaly smart and not do well if they never learned the math on it. -
Trade Rumors/Ideas for Bills...
High Mark replied to Wilson from Gamehendge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lynch is worht more to this team than ANY draft pick he would bring in a trade. Whitner for a 4th? He is worth more on this team. -
Why cant we sign Kevin Mawae and Larry Foote/Joey Porter to do exactly what you want Holt to do? I have been clamoring for that for a whiole now and no one seems to liek the idea.
-
Which ones? Its hard to pick him out but when I did he looked good on every play. Some of them he makes some really great blocks.
-
Considering how bad we have drafted in the past, Id be ok with tebow at 9. I too think he will become a great player and will follow is career rooting for him where ever he goes - unless its NE or the Fish,

Jamaal Williams Signs with Broncos
High Mark replied to McClane's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would have been nice to sign BOTH those guys. Green has played very very well for NE ove the years. Moving forward, I think it would be in the Bills best interest to pursue Larry Foote. He started for Pitt his entire career, and knows the 3-4. He could come in and be the captain of the D and really be like a second coach. Yea he may have lost a step, but he would be the perfect tutor for our young guys. He has a few SB rings too - he knows what it takes to win and he could teach our guys what it takes. Dont forget Mitchell had an ACL and will be at half speed all year - if he is lucky to make it back for the opener at all. This team needs guys who know how to win and have experience. We need them to show our young guys how to do it. Without some guidence we will be spinning our wheels. -
Bills and Browns to meet with Spikes
High Mark replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Spikes, but hear me out. Everyone is convinced he will be an ILB right? Well I think he would be a great LOLB. If you watched Florida closely you noticed that Spikes played a lot of DE in passing situations and I think that could result in him being considered for a 3-4 OLB. Last season Cushing was the same way - having played DE his entire freshman year and in many passing situations. Mayock said he was scheme diverse and could play inside or outside in any D. I like players like Spikes because he was good enough to be the best middle LB AND the best pass rushing DE on FLORIDA - one of the most talented roster in college football. I could see him playing inside or outside and I like that diversity. -
Hopefully Anderson really means Rogers.

Bills line up meeting with C.J. Spiller
High Mark replied to bobcat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Add in DL and new uniforms and we have a SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!! PS I dont think Spiller will be the home run threat being advertised. His career will be closer to Bushs than C. Johnsons I think. Hopefully he gets his touches in the return game because thats where he will make his money. We dont need more help there. -
You are right K9 - the Colts line is not that great - it is Manning. With the threat of him passing all over the place, his team should be able to run for more than 4 YPC. That being said, I bet the have a good LT and I want him over D Bell. Hell my other post was to get their back up over D Bell.

Bulaga Rd 1 Davis Rd 2 Hopefully Davis will be gone before our 2nd rounder. PS Bulaga is young and will be turning 21 later this month.
-
Look at his waist. He doesnt have the frame to carry that weight into a season. He just doesnt.
-
The Colts other LT - former starter Tony Ugoh - was the back up this entire season (starter in their SB winning year and others). If their starter is tendered at a 2nd, I say pursue a trade for Ugoh for less than a 2nd. He could easily start for this team and would be a HUGE upgrade. A 4th or 3rd round pick for a SB winning LT who is 26 years old with 30ish starts? Sign me up.

I am white, but I do not see Lynch as a thug. I see Marshawn Lynch as a true American Patriot. Marshawn was simply living within his right [which in todays USA is not] guarenteed to him by the 2nd amendment. Lynch had an UNLOADED gun in the TRUNK of his car LOCKED IN A CASE. Instead of being punished, he should be a good example to the rest of the people out there as how to abide by gun laws and gun safety. AKA guys like Plaxico. I cannot stand how the American people sit around and are ok with their unalienable rights being trampled on by corrupt politicians. PS I dont think SD trade Cromatie because of his love life. And I agree I see nothing wrong with LJ making gay comments - 1st amendment anyone? Also is the US we are INNOCENT until prove guilty - so lay off Ben because it may be two scum bag gold digging whores looking for some quick cash.

Scouting Report On Jimmy Clausen
High Mark replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From watching 4 or 5 games of his this season, I would not agree with that statement. If it wasnt open deep he often hit the intermediate route, but that is not a check down - its reading the D and taking what they give you. He is also not gun shy in the least and will heave it downfield if he has single coverage.
