  1. My guess is Buddy will be sleeping and Gailey will have the tape and never watch it. - Everyone has heard that Nix went to bed when FA opened, but I also read a quote from Gailey saying he has a tape of Tebows pro day and hasnt watched it yet - what is he doing with his time? A fan on this board watched it in person, and I bet everyone else has seen a tape of it - yet the HC hasnt looked at it yet? The draft is 30 days away what are they waiting for? I have a strong feeling we still have a joke FO.
  2. Dick Juaron and co were doing the assessment. nuff said.
  3. Let him sit out the entire season - its not like we have a chance to win 6 games. We are going to be last in the AFCE, so let Wood heal. Hangartner can be a speed bump this season and Wood can start at C in 2011.
  4. With G in Round 3
  5. But those wins are going to carry the winning mentality into 2010!!!!
  6. Yes but that Ravens DL is not I suspect. At least full time he is not.
  7. Sounds like a PUP list situation to me. Thats too bad, I think he is the best CB in the AFC east (I am not spoon fed my opinions by ESPN, so dont give me that "OMG Derrel Revis ?!?!?!?! response)
  8. No, Boondock saint 2 was just horrible. The first one was good though.
  9. "geeze this aint rocket appliances" "Come on Julian I was just trying to get two birds stoned at once."
  10. Yes I meant he threw for 4k twice, while getting over 20tds once. And I knew he turned the ball over - didnt know about the sack stat though. Either way I still would like him on the team. Like I said he was on some really bad teams (yes I know we are a bad team) but I feel a lot of those sacks/fumbles/picks are a result of him playing on crap teams. If he is pressured less he throws less picks and if he is sacked less he fumbles less etc. With a top LT drafted and Wood coming back strong our line will be better and hopefully could keep him upright. At this point I dont see a better option that is cost effective/realistic.
  11. Gronkowski! He is the best TE in the draft and would be a first round lock if not for back surgery. He is from Buffalo for cryin out loud... what else do you need! PS I really like Nelsons future, but want to add Grons also.
  12. Great combine workout? Who cares about his 40 yard dash and verical leap other than Al Davis? He has looked near terrible in the games I have seen, which is what is important. Furthermore, T. Williams played RT for three seasons at OK while Phil Loadholt started at LT for those seasons. AKA Bob Stoops and co. - the coaches who saw both of those guys play every day for 3 years - decided that Loadholt was the better LT. I dont know how much more accurate scouting you are gonna get right there. Now if anyone saw just how bad of a pass blocker Loadholt is as an NFL RT, I doubt they would be very thrilled at having Williams as our LT. Personally I dont view Williams as an NFL LT in the least.
  13. Colts arm strength is limited but is adequate. His accuracy is better than most fans will admit. He may be more of a career backup though.
  14. Either that (my first choice) our go back to the early 90s look. The only thing I never liked in any of the old unis was the white helpmet with raging Buffalo - just never sat right to me.
  15. Kitna was a multi-time 4000 yard passer and 20 TD thrower on a really bad Lions team. Earlier in his career he had a lot of 3000 yard season with a reall really bad Bengals team. I highly doubt any TBDer would complain with those numbers. I have been saying the Bills should go after Kitna since last offseason - then they signed Fitz instead. Good call on that one Russ...
  16. I think the Texans would go for Ryan Mathews/Jonathan Dwyer moreso than Spiller.
  17. Keith Ellison, meet Joey Porters jock strap. It is a better football player than you.
  18. Agreed, thats why I want him in Bills colors on Sundays.
  19. At the end of the day, I think Brandon Graham will be the best pass rushing 3-4 OLB in the draft. 9 is too high for him I guess, but if the Bills share that believe, why not take him over Morgan? However, Morgan does have loads of experience on the left side and is very very sout vrs the run - so he could help there. Sergio Kindle is another guy I see having tons of success at 3-4 OLB. Kindle and Grahmas transition just seem more natural to me. Another guy we havent thought of is Pierre-Paul. He like Morgan is built more like a DE but it very athletic and could transition. There are lots of options for us at OLB - I just named 4 guys who are all as likely to succeed as the next. If the Ts (Okung/Bulaga) and QBs (Bradford/Clausen) are gone trade down is the only way to fill a need without reaching IMO. Hopefully we have the luxury.
  20. He ran a 4.37 And even if he was Adrian Peterson, Id still pass on him. RBs are a dime a dozen. Going back to that draft wouldnt have been smarter for the Vikings to draft Willis over AD? I say yes. Spiller is a playmaker yes, thats easy to see. Buts its a lot harder to see the types of plays that Okung/Bulaga/McClain/Morgan/Cody make and how they can affect the game. Thats the difference here. Those guys I listed are all bigger playmakers than Spiller, you just arent likely to see them on ESPN. We need need REAL play makers. Besides, whats the over/under if Spiller is ever any better than Bush at the NFL level? Im taking under.
  21. Exactly why we need two more starting caliber Ts
  22. Well I had NFL Netwrok on counting on seeing them breaking down the Bills but it was not on. They did however had Casserly on talking about a kid named Tony Washington from Abilene Christian (D2). Casserly said he though Washington may be the most physically gifted tackle in the entire draft. He also said he spoke with a teams scout and a teams OL coach who also said he is a 1st round talent. His combine workout was excellent I guess. The catch - he is a registered sex offender. Its not as bad as you may first think... or it may be worse. Read for yourself http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...NFL&id=5830 Now I dont know what happened and what didnt, but Ill forget all about it if we get a T steal in this draft. If he is as good as Okung, I want him on the team.
  23. Exactly. Fans and sport beat writers just speculate while guys like Buddy Nix know. Sure a lot of fans/writers know more than others, but not always. Nix is quoted saying Williams is not the prototype NT in terms of size, but his skill sets is still very good for the NT position. He also said Williams will be playing at least some NT next season. Me personally, I think Williams is going to be a stud DE and could shift inside on passing situations. Thats where I believe we will see him next season. At the end of the day, your NT needs to be able to take on 2 blockers and control the middle of the field. Who cares what the scale says if a guy can do exactly what is asked of him?
  24. He doesnt count because we have new coaches and FO whom I am 10000000% positive arent going to give him the benifit of the doubt - ie "we need to play his cause he was our first round pick" He will spend this whole season on the bench unless we have some injuries/suspensions/etc forcing him to play, which is ironic, because thats the only reason he ever played at Penn St
