  1. I agree they should go after Cousins, but why in the world would he come, everything else being equal? Rebuilding team, no WRs, aging run game. I like it, but I don't see it. McBeanes are taking the long road, it seems to me.
  2. No they don't and yes it will make a difference to a player. If you make a lot of money, NYS is not where you want to make it. One of the many reasons businesses and people have been fleeing the place since the 70's .
  3. lot of truth here. changing out the QB will be important.
  4. let it go. no one cares anymore . that was a hundred years ago
  5. whatever, we are on a new process. looks like 9-7 this year while building a work-first culture, piling up picks, getting younger and dodging cap hell by emptying the WR, DB and LB rooms and trading away a pro bowl DT. Drafted 4 quality starters last year. Seems like the process is working so far. The QB wasn't coming in this year, but it will happen. It's a process. Hopefully they'll keep 'zo and Kyle to keep the locker room together. Take your angst somewhere else. McBeanes seem to have it right so far
  6. Wrong. I only saw 4 or 5 1st half drives, but based on only that, his arm talent jumps off the screen. Velocity, release point, accuracy, accuracy & velocity on the run. Impossible to block that throw. Right over the top. Tall, big, fast. He throws it better than 95% of NFL QBs. The team around him didn't belong on the field with OSU , but he is terrific.. With that arm, he will kill it in the combine and likely go #1. Let's hope he drops and we can trade up to 4 or 5 and get him.
  7. wrong. no O Line, no success in today's NFL. period, end of story. Ask Winston and Wilson. Their O Lines fell apart and they've been running for their lives ever since.
  8. We'll just see what L.A. pays him in free agency and that will tell the story. He will want #1 $$$. Did they already pay him?
  9. I have thought for awhile that Glenn goes to RT.
  10. yeah but every close play went for the Bills against the Falcons and all the other turnover wins... not a Bill B. fan, but "you are what your record says you are" in the NFL, bc over 16 games the bad calls offset the favorable calls. the t White fumble TD was not a fumble. but it was called a fumble and completely changed that game. just sayin', the breaks kind of even themselves out over the course of 16 games. the least injured (L.A.) and /or HOF QB type teams (you know who they are) are usually making the playoffs.
  11. yeah, he'd be great next to John Murphy. Get er done pegs
  12. he gave up the body big time on a hit on the fins TE... he's really a gamer but he's fairly slight of build. He 's a baller. 2 year deal me says, with a lot of playing time bonuses.
  13. Team game. If your O Line or Defense suck, you can have Y.A. Tittle back there and you ain't goin' anywhere relative to playoffs. Ask Wilson and Winston how it went this year running for their lives all game every game. Ask Luck how much fun it is to have to score 40 to win. It's a team game. Unfortunately, the NFL changed the f ing rules so much to make it a higher scoring passing game which fans will sit through dozens of million dollar Bud Light commercials to watch, the QB position rules the game... which eventually found its way into the wildly overpriced QB contracts of today. Now everyone thinks you get a QB and its all good cuz the rules favor passing. You still need the rest of the team in order to win consistently.
  14. they won't make it. Ravens will not lose at home in a game they have to have against a team running for the bus. Both Jax and Raiders have nothing to play for. This is not happening. make it 18 seasons and counting, as we expected 4 months ago.
  15. let the refs call the game. three coaches challenges . that's it. no booth review of TDs, etc. that's all crap. the refs almost always always get it right. if you think a TD is not a TD coach, challenge it.
  16. Kirk Cousins. They basically screwed the pooch by winning too many games this year. Now they need to open the purse to get their guy. Is what it is. And I think they will.
  17. Good season. Won a lot of games. That's about it. An extended preseason where the players played full games instead of half games. McBeanes know what they have now. The process will continue. The roster will be very different next year.
  18. McVay inherited a team that, frankly, was really good last year. With this year's Goff/McVay, they kill the Bills last year. You could see this year's Rams coming a mile away.
