  1. Forgot one.. 4. Josh Allen lobbied for Keon Coleman: The Bills didn't target Keon. The geniuses at OBD didn't have a preference at WR otherwise they wouldn't have traded down. They were going to take a receiver and were happy with whoever was left out of Worthy, Pearsall, Leggette, Coleman, McConkey. Unfortunately, with a 50/50 shot, they still guessed wrong. Don't think it can be overstated how badly McBeane and co have mismanaged the receiver room. And then for Beane to get on the radio, double down and make a complete ass of himself was just the cherry on top.
  2. Some oft-repeated claims in this thread that need to cleared up: 1. Brady/Manning won/didn't win because of blah blah blah: Brady won more than half of his super bowls scoring less than 30 points. One of them by scoring 13. Peyton Manning was a much better QB earlier in his career when he couldn't get over the hump than he was in that year he won with the Broncos. As always, lets not conflate team accomplishments with individual success. Defense is an important part of championship teams almost always. The Bills under Sean McDermott have been borderline awful on that side of the ball for most playoff games since he's been the coach. Josh Allen has been mostly incredible in the postseason but he literally has zero margin for error because of the other side of the ball. 2. The receivers can't separate: Pretty much the same group as last year. And if this was any other QB that fans on here like to rag on (Tua, Lamar, etc), we'd definitely hear the familiar refrain of "this isn't college...in the NFL, that's open" on a lot of these routes that people post here. 3. Getting married has affected Allen's game: Pretty sure there have been other QBs with wives who have done okay. This is just a ridiculous excuse that should not even be seriously debated. If Allen is that mentally fragile (spoiler alert: he's not), then this team has way bigger problems going forward.
  3. I know the Bills won big today, but it wouldn't be TBD without the usual whiners like me to come by and complain. I'm a bit concerned with Allen's game right now. He hasn't looked like his usual self for the majority of the season. Missing open receivers, not being able to escape rushers, and just looking kinda flat out there emotionally compared to what were accustomed to. I know the receivers don't create much separation, but it's not like they revamped the room this year. It's mostly the same guys he had last year and although he wasn't lighting it up in 2024, he was still fitting the ball into really tight windows. There isn't a lot of that this year. I know it's not popular to criticise him here, so for the record, I'm one of his biggest fans. But out of all of the problems this team has, Josh Allen's play is the most concerning for me. Not that he's been horrible, but this team has no chance if he's not far and away the best qb in the league.
  4. This is the best site on the Internet
  5. And the rest of the starting defense can breathe a little easier on gameday now.
  6. It's Clappy's right and left hands. When they meet, its similar to when Hulk Hogan would 'hulk up' and no amount of punishment can faze them. The fans, on the other hand...
  7. I will not stand for the all red uni slander. Those are beautiful.
  8. George Pickens catching passes from Josh Allen isn't sexy? Check out Jay Sherman over here..
  9. That's nice. That same offense once won a super bowl scoring 13 points. Do you envision that ever happening in Buffalo with this coach? Be honest.
  10. The only way this happens is if Josh goes off-script whenever he feels the urge. The cowardly coach won't willingly remove the shackles and the incompetent gm isn't going to help with the roster in any meaningful way.
  11. It's a boring-ass offense with the most exciting player in the league. I'd be miffed if I were him too. Looks like we're back to the low positive days.
  12. Ya, definitely. A penalty for half a yard is not punitive in any meaningful way. All penalties when they reach the "half the distance.." area should change to moving the first down line forward by the penalty yardage amount.
  13. 1. Anything that disincentivizes kicking, I'm all for. So I like this rule. 2. Not a bad idea. Also, related to this, the "half the distance to the goal line" penalties are stupid. If an offense false starts at their own 1, the first down marker should move forward 5 yards. Moving back half a yard is meaningless. 3. Sounds like someone had a frustrating fantasy football week..
  14. This is all McDermott, imo. Brady has said on multiple occasions that its a Josh Allen offense and everything should run through him. McDermott only ever says that that they need to be multidimensional. In theory that sounds logical, but reading between the lines, I believe he wants the offense to be more conservative and utilize the run game more. He's the kind of guy that seems to prefer a 7 yard run to an 8 yard pass. Its old football and it sucks we have one of these dinosaurs in charge when we have the best player in the league at the most important position. Additionally, for a head coach and a star QB who have been together for 8 years, it doesn't strike me that Allen and McDermott are all that close. If Allen had a more cut-throat personality, I have to believe he'd have pushed McDermott out a long time ago. I firmly believe that McDermott has already stolen at least one super bowl from this franchise (13 seconds) and perhaps a few more. He's a drought-level coach, possibly worse, that has been saved countless times by a freakshow at QB and a clueless owner who has far less football knowledge than the average TBD poster.
  15. He'd be an immediate upgrade and can be had for free. But mcdermott is too fragile to bring in a guy like him so it'll never happen
  16. You give Allen the 90s roster and the Bills would never lose a game.
  17. thought the same thing at the time...i'm sure his original route was a wheel, but he has to recognize the blitz and stop at the sticks to give allen a chance the team - just like its head coach - doesn't seem all that heady
  18. Replays showed Cook visibly upset on the sidelines after that ridiculous play call to Moore on 4th down. And I don't believe he saw the field after that. Coincidence? They do take him off the field at times when playing from behind here and there but not entirely like they did today.
  19. It's amazing how badly he's mismanaged this roster after drafting Josh. This is a bottom 5 team with literally any other QB.
  20. Non-zero chance mcdumbass benched cook for that series for acting up on the sidelines after that atrocious 4th down play to moore the series before.
  21. Why does Rapp hit his own teammates 10x harder than he does the other team?
  22. Maybe all he needed this whole time were those specs
  23. The Andy Reid comparisons are as inevitable as they are ridiculous in these kinds of threads. By your logic, all McDermott needs is a better QB and he'll be a HoF coach like Reid is as well. So please enlighten us as to who that QB would be?
