I wanted the Bills to replace McDermott with him too. And maybe I will again. But the guy sounds like a grade A prick in the few interviews I've seen him give. Gives off Todd Haley vibes.

I hate this offensive philosophy when you have one of, if not the, most talented QBs to ever step foot on the gridiron. But they score a lot of points and win a lot of games. So it's hard to argue with the results. Having said that, I honestly think that if Josh was the QB of an offense like the Bengals or Eagles, those teams would score 50 points a game while winning multiple championships.

Not an issue in a Joe Brady offense

It's a shame that the most exciting player this franchise will likely ever see will have the bulk of his career highlights narrated by Chris Brown.

You realize that teams are not kicking into the endzone on purpose, right?

What’s your favorite Bills opening day game?

Pretty sure there's a unanimous answer to this question now. -
Ed Oliver is as good as I've seen him today

He has one of these kinds of games once or twice a year. His problem is consistency. Excellent performance by him tonight. -
Can we make this a permanent switch? I really hope the contract situation isn't what stops this from happening. We don't need someone who can make 60+ yarders, even though he's done that in the past. Just want someone who won't miss the gimmes.

9/7/25 2nd Half Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF

There's no other qb in the league that could carry this dog poop roster to a .500 record, let alone be a contender. I feel about as bad for a multimillionaire as I can in regards to Josh. -
After watching that game last night, it reiterated my belief that there is no way the Bills should have lost to that team this past January. Who knows if they would have beaten the Eagles but that Chiefs team is the weakest it's been in years and they still couldn't get it done. It's just so frustrating and disappointing.

And you attribute this to McDermott? Your pet hamster could coach this team to the playoffs with Josh Allen as QB.

That's cheating

We get at least one of these threads every season. He's the same guy he's always been and always will be. The Bills will have to win the super bowl in spite of him, not because of him.

Draft bias is obviously strong among the Kincaid fanboys but if you live in reality you'd see that there is nothing he is better at than Knox. And yes, that includes receiving. Has Knox had a few maddening drops earlier in his career? Sure. But he's also made some highlight reel catches that Kincaid could only dream of. It was a dumb pick at the time and looks even worse now. Also, I don't recall Knox, or any other Bills player ever coming up so small at the end of an important game the way Kincaid did last season against the Chiefs in January. Just an all-time pathetic performance on multiple plays when the stakes were the highest.

He's saying Dalton Kincaid sucks. Which he does.

Allen vs Mahomes, is this a controversial take?
QB Bills replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Again, you're confusing team success and player accolades with individual talent. Nobody in their right mind would say Allen has had a more successful career than Mahomes. Mahomes obviously has more accomplishments. And if that's your definition of better, then yes, Mahomes is better. My contention is, all things being equal, if you were to put them both in the exact same situation, Allen would outperform him because I feel he's more talented. -

Nobody is crying. It's a Bills discussion board. And we're using said board for a discussion about something Bills-related. As for the discussion itself, those of us with critical thinking skills can separate team success from individual player talent. Others, like you, obviously cannot. Just because the chiefs as a team are more successful than the Bills, doesn't make every single player on their team better than every single player on the Bills. -
Allen vs Mahomes, is this a controversial take?

Umm, no. The Bills should never entertain the idea of replacing Allen with Mahomes. Or any other qb in the league. I think some of you really overestimate the talent level on this team and how f'd they'd be without Josh. -

They should build a statue of McDermott outside of arrowhead. He's the real MVP of that dynasty. -
In retrospect, I wish he had missed this kick as I believe the bills would have a new kicker this season. That one kick bought him another season. Tyler Bass makes you clench your ass. Good campaign slogan for Ray Davis
