Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?

Ya, definitely. A penalty for half a yard is not punitive in any meaningful way. All penalties when they reach the "half the distance.." area should change to moving the first down line forward by the penalty yardage amount.

1. Anything that disincentivizes kicking, I'm all for. So I like this rule. 2. Not a bad idea. Also, related to this, the "half the distance to the goal line" penalties are stupid. If an offense false starts at their own 1, the first down marker should move forward 5 yards. Moving back half a yard is meaningless. 3. Sounds like someone had a frustrating fantasy football week..

The obsession with turning Josh Allen into a pocket QB
QB Bills replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is all McDermott, imo. Brady has said on multiple occasions that its a Josh Allen offense and everything should run through him. McDermott only ever says that that they need to be multidimensional. In theory that sounds logical, but reading between the lines, I believe he wants the offense to be more conservative and utilize the run game more. He's the kind of guy that seems to prefer a 7 yard run to an 8 yard pass. Its old football and it sucks we have one of these dinosaurs in charge when we have the best player in the league at the most important position. Additionally, for a head coach and a star QB who have been together for 8 years, it doesn't strike me that Allen and McDermott are all that close. If Allen had a more cut-throat personality, I have to believe he'd have pushed McDermott out a long time ago. I firmly believe that McDermott has already stolen at least one super bowl from this franchise (13 seconds) and perhaps a few more. He's a drought-level coach, possibly worse, that has been saved countless times by a freakshow at QB and a clueless owner who has far less football knowledge than the average TBD poster. -
Chauncey Gardner-Johnson to the Ravens

He'd be an immediate upgrade and can be had for free. But mcdermott is too fragile to bring in a guy like him so it'll never happen -

You give Allen the 90s roster and the Bills would never lose a game.- 42 replies

thought the same thing at the time...i'm sure his original route was a wheel, but he has to recognize the blitz and stop at the sticks to give allen a chance the team - just like its head coach - doesn't seem all that heady

Canadian thinking of catching a game - Little help?

Can you play corner? -
Replays showed Cook visibly upset on the sidelines after that ridiculous play call to Moore on 4th down. And I don't believe he saw the field after that. Coincidence? They do take him off the field at times when playing from behind here and there but not entirely like they did today.

It's amazing how badly he's mismanaged this roster after drafting Josh. This is a bottom 5 team with literally any other QB.

Non-zero chance mcdumbass benched cook for that series for acting up on the sidelines after that atrocious 4th down play to moore the series before. -

Mosquito bites? Sure are fun to scratch! -
Totally agree. Collinsworth was slobbering all over him and it made me wonder if I was watching the same game. Sure, he made some decent plays, but its not like he was going up against the 85 Bears. The Bills just laid an egg yesterday. Tbh, they were begging to get beat the last two games before this too, so its not a one-off. Alarming, to say the least.

The final play to Shakir. Samuel was wide open for easy TD
QB Bills replied to MikePJ76's topic in The Stadium Wall
All sarcasm aside, that's an awful play by Allen. Bailed out of the pocket early, which I can only assume wasn't by design with the way the routes were being run. As such, he misses an almost sure TD. He's the best in the game, but he's not infallible.- 248 replies
