  1. Didnt Williams do most of his damage last year as the nose? Question really.
  2. More like put 4 quarters together of good football. You see flashes and even a quarter or half, but they have yet to put a total game together against a quality opponent.
  3. This game was what many of us were worried about. The Bills seemed to get over confident, or weren't as focused. Gailey did seem to call a very vanille/basic offense. I remember once on a second and one the Bills tried to run the ball straight up the middle and got shut down, even lost 2 yards. I thought to myself 'Chan is better then that'. 2 and 1 go for a play action and take a shot deep. it was while the Bills were up already, and could have been the dagger. Oh well, Bills are still 3-1 and headed home to play the Eagles. This will be another good test for our Oline and Dline. The Bengals showed that our Oline still has some more growing to do. And The Eagles play a very tough physical game.
  4. he has stated he wont change positions. But a few years of not starting may change his mind. He has the perfect build for an H Back. To the OP, Not sure i would give anything up for him. Why? He showed a little here and there, but why start a controversy? Everyone always thinks the 2nd qb is the answer when your starter has abad game or two. With Tebow on the bench that wouldn't be a good scenario.
  5. It sounded to me like Hairston is going to be a gamer for them too. Needs some seasoning but by next year could have 3 tackles and 3 gaurds that are all competent starters in this league. And between wood and levitre have two all pros.
  6. don tlike those odds in that situation. At that point NE was moving the ball at will. So you had a 50/50 chance of giving them the ball at the 42. No thanks, liked the call, and liked Fitz saying "F it, i am gonna put it in play and hope MY guys get it".
  7. You need mor eguys from the SEC and the south in that mock. Buddy and Chan like southern players.
  8. Or the Bills winning. Last game we were sittin gon the patio at a restaurant watching the Bills game. As the Bills began doing better, the girl walking in and out of the tanning bed next store to the restaurant got hotter and hotter. maybe a coincedence? ha
  9. Maybe somethin gin the middle. Buddy wanted him back for a fair price. Not the crap he got from an awful jax team.
  10. Didnt Buddy hire Chan? And the two ,Chan and Buddy, work well together it seems. Sorry but Buddy is playing a big role in this teams progress, to say a GM isn't a big reason why a team is succesful or not, is silly. look at the Bills GM over the last 10 years previous to Buddy. Oh wait you can't cause they didn't have one!!! and look where that got them!! No way to say yet if Spiller was a bad pick or not this early. We are starting to see signs he has play making ability. Chan is holding him back, wouldn't be surprised to see an increased role later in the season for him.
  11. Hell how old was Kurt Warner his 'rookie' year with St Louis? 27 i think. And he played for 12 more years and went to a Super Bowl at 38. And he carried that team to the Super Bowl. Outside of kicker, QB is one position you can play at a high level well into your 30's. Will Fitz? God we all hope so!
  12. Tampa Bay girls are amazing. Nothing against the Jills....'the cant all be first rounder picks'
  13. Skip bayless is the most annoying guy on t.v. If he was rooting for the Bills he would still be annoying. Something about him is so pretentious and arrogant. But thats probably why he still has a job. He is the "Mr Wonderful' of Sports Talk.
  14. I will take Dareus every day of the week. Nothing against Miller but looks like both where sure fire picks. This draft class as a whole may turn out to be one of the best all times... time will tell.
  15. I am glad there is still nay sayers. More the Better i think. This team plays hungry and has a chip on their shoulder. Negative press only feeds that. In this case though, i think he is pretty accurate. Buffalo does have to beat the Jets twice and NE atleast once more, to show they own the AFC EAST
  16. I see 20-14 Buffalo. Bills scoring a fourth quarter touchdown to take the lead, and then Byrd picks Dalton off with under two mins while he tries to rally his troops. This will be a close tough game. But Bills are showing they know how to win games. Lets keep that rolling
  17. I know there is mixed opinions on Troup so far. But as the season goes on, the Bills really could use another guy rotating in on DLine. Dareus has been amazing, but USUALLY Dlineman start to wear down later in the season as they acclimate to the NFL schedule. This may not be the case, but would awesome to have Dareus playing at this level in January and maybe even Feb!
  18. Good point. just seems this year Fitz has really stepped up as the leader. He seems to have fun during the games, and doesn't take himself too serious. easy to get behind a guy like that and rally around him.
  19. For once i would agree. I am not saying the Bills should be over confident, but if i am Gailey i play up the Fitz angle to the players. To me it seems like everyon on this team Loves Fitz(like the rest of us). Right before they go out tell the guys, lets win this one for Fitz and show these Bengals they made the biggest mistake ever letting him get out of here. Run it up and leave no doubt!
  20. Atlanta's Oline looks horrible! Clabo isn't really the problem, Baker the LT is a turnstile. Baker was a first round pick the same year they took Ryan-2008. If you watched that Sunday night game he got man handled. They have also been missing their center and Harvey Dahl is gone from last years line. I like the Falcons but picked them as my NFC team that would regress this year. Like the Chiefs of the AFC. So far this season i will take Bell every day over Baker.
  21. I hope the Bills dont think like some posters here. They wont score 34 points if they think they can just show up and do that. You saw this past Sunday that if you do not execute, you lose games. I think we would all agree, the Pats have more PROVEN talent on their team. Not saying they are a better team, just that they have a lot of guys that have been historically better. If anyone thinks the win against the Pats scares the Bengals you are wrong, just the opposite, it fires them up. Bengals now want to be the ones to knock the Bills off. The target on the Bills back gets bigger every week. Remember, just last year, the Bills were the Bengals, and how many good teams did the Bills give all they wanted?
  22. I hope Chan is saying to the guys 'lets go beat this team like we did KC. We are a much better team then Cincy, lets have the score reflect that." To me this week is another opportunity for Chan and the team to show how different they are then the 2008 team. Go out and beat the hell out of a team that isn't in your class. It woul dbe nice to have a second half of rest instead of all our hearts beating out of our chests again.
  23. listen pal, It sounded like the "pats' fan was trying to say Chan had no balls. Sorry, but i know a lot about football, and b.s. Your Pats friend sounds like he has sour grapes. Cause someone out coached his coach.
