He signed a one year deal before the season with San Fran for $3.5mil. He is 6'3 225, He attributes his poor play this year to an injured knee(which he had mid-season surgery on) and a banged up shoulder. If you could sign him for league min plus some incentives, would you do the deal?

Hopefully it means he saw and heard that after the season the entire D Staff is gone.

POZ looked the same to me. Racks up tackles, but has zero instincts and runs into blockers and can't get off them. The falcons shredded the Jags on the run. I think the Falcons did finally figure it out, like the guys where saying after the game on t.v. Matt Ryan is a perfect game manager, with a lot more ability then say a Trent Dilfer. But by no means is Ryan in the same league as a Manning, Brady, or Rodgers, and dont think he ever will be. If Chan could try the same approach with Fitz, the results might be better.

Chan doesnt line him up in the backfield to atleast keep the D honest??? I understand it worked sometimes early in the season. Even then i did not like it. But now defenses have seemed to learn how to stop whatever the Bills are doing. IF Chan is a great offensive innovator he needs to see this is not working anymore. I know i am pulling a needle out of the haystake of defeciences. But this is ridiculious.

I have to agree. Especially when you factor in that earlier in the year on a similar situation Gailey went for it against NE. Granted they did not make the conversion, but i liked the call. Gailey is getting out coached a lot over the past few games.

Why does Chan like the empty back field so much in short yardage and inside the 10? I mean half this thread is spent talking about how the Bills are thin at WR. IF Freddie is our best player, why not atleast line him up in the backfield? I have seen very little play action.

They Jills are not ugly by any means. I think any of us single guys on this board would go out with any of them. Except for you faires that keep posting that Peter Pan dude!( and suckering me on it, damn it!) You get what you pay for. If true, $50 a game is nothing. Add onto it that you get maybe 3-4 games of good to decent weather, 2 games of bad weather and 2 games of horrible weather. For girls in scantily clad attire thats not too enticing. I agree that right now Jackson is a much better runner the CJ. But if i know that so does Rex. He is going to try and clog the running lanes big time. Bills are going to have to use short crossing patterns and slants to move back the Lbs and thus let Fred get going. CJ and Fred in the game at the same time would be great to see. If CJ could catch a pas in stride over the middle, i would love to see him in a footrace.

Went to a few of his games. You could tell he did not belong in college. He is a straight forward X and O's guy. Practice hard and then execute kind of guy. He didn't like recruiting or having to babysit college kids. that and Reggie Ball killed him at Tech

Just read, or to be honest scanned a paper done by a Holy Cross student in 2009. The paper was all about the economic impact of the Super Bowl on the host cities. Look it up, no i am not smart enough to provide link. There is some discrepancy over how much money is brought in. But if you went conservative and said $300mil. and you were able to get the SB once every 10 years. then that event alone would eat a huge chunk of your initial out lay of capital. This actually was my thought exactly. They have him under contract for this year and next. Run the you know what out of him and then let him walk. Might not be the most ethical thing in the world. Time will tell.

This is going to be a fun game to watch. Chan vs Rex. Both head coaches take pride in the side of the ball they came up on. It will be low scorring i think. Fitz will need to be decisive with his throws. Wouldn't expect too many long developing pass plays. Sanchez is an average QB. If he was playing in any other market he would not get anywhere near the pub he gets. Jets Oline if healthy is going to be one of the better ones the Bills will face. Best matchup might be Mangold vs Dareus. It will be close 17-14 Buffalo.

Hopefully the D does the sam ething the O did last year after the bye. Seems to me that after the bye last year was when the offense started really coming together.
