In light of the Pats 3-0 start I again start to think Manning was the better QB - I know he has less rings and Brady is the best of all time, but I feel like J.P. Losman may have gotten a ring as QB of the Pats assuming the cheater was the coach.

Manning seems a bit more in the "maybe I should give it one more try" arena than some others - he walked off with a win, but I get the feeling he wouldn't mind a call. If he was really done then he could have retired the moment he won the SB, he took his good old time which make me think he had interest in considering another run.

Randle has more experience and talent than the rest of our #3s combined. I know he is a bit of a knucklehead, but the Eagles have let him go and he could be signed for a cheap 1 year contract, if he plays well maybe he can stay if Woods gets a contract elsewhere... I think it is worth brining him in at least.

I love this idea, I don't know why older=bad - this guy has won everywhere with every kind of talent level, sure he hasn't won a super bowl - at this point I would be happy with one playoff appearance... once he gets us to a few playoff games maybe we get lucky, or maybe he then retires and we have gained some respect - either way better than a gamble with some unproven person (see last 15 years)

agreed. i am tired of watching our talent walk or go unrewarded... i know we could stiff him and get another year out of him - my guess is that is exactly what we do on the way to another 6-10 season.

Anyone else wondering why we haven't been running Jackson more - he is getting 10 yards a play and Fitz/receivers not getting anywhere...

NO - We knew signing him that he wasn't Brees, Rogers, Manning, or Brady. He is playing on the level he is getting paid - like Cassel... he won't carry the team, but he can manage a game. This can't be blamed on him, the defense has to make at least 1 stop a game if we are to win...

So sad but true... and I had so much hope that this year may be different.

He may not be great yet, but he sure does get to the quarterback. Glad he is finally getting another chance!!

Cower may have agreed to be DC for a year if the Bills named Gaily as HC. What if the Bills are just waiting until after CBS's super bowl is over before naming him DC? A fantasy I know, but fun to think about...
