Now that’s a bargain.

TE Tyler Kroft (Bengals) to the Bills
atlbillsfan1975 replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now draft a TE in the third or later. If Nauta is there out of UGA, and he might be, in the last half of the third I hope the Bills go and get him. Nauta is going to be a much better pro than college player. -
Predict the next Bills UFA/Trade signing
atlbillsfan1975 replied to N.Y. Orangeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He looked dreadful last year. Had a very solid 2016 and 2017. He needs a medical check. -
Love hearing this about Foster. Sounds like he has figured out that his speed will take him so far. Since being demoted and brought back up Foster has been fantastic. Foster showed you can 'put it all together' and suddenly turn into something. My Hope is the same happens with Duke, i like having a big physical wide receiver who will fight fo rthe ball. I think the Bills do as well given the failed KB trade.

Ziggy Ansah to visit bills
atlbillsfan1975 replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ansah and Hughes please. Let Hughes play for his next contract next year, could mean double digit sacks for both Ansah and Hughes. Mario and Hughes complemented each other very well in 2014. Be nice to see that pass rush again, and have the backfield to pick passes. -

Seems like the coaches and a Beane realize when Allen made his best plays was to fast guys getting separation. Fast guys with better hands are being brought in. -
Not a bad start to free agency

I know we can. before FA signings of the past two days the Bills were set to have the most cap space in 2020. Love for some of you cap members to break it down for some of us less knowledgeable members. Where is the cap this year and now next year? -

I think that was posted before some of these later adds. Where does the cap stand now? Any room for Ziggy? -
G Jon Feliciano (Raiders) to the Bills

I am assuming he is the left guard in that clip. Or I am hoping because that guard mauled and also showed agility to get to the linebacker. Solid solid signing. -
Bills one of 6 teams in on Leveon Bell

The only way i am a fan is if it is a four year deal that the Bills can get out of in 3 years without a huge cap hit. Running back is a position that premiere players can be found in the second, third, and even fourth round. I would be more accepting of a wide receiver getting over paid than a running back. -
C Mitch Morse (Chiefs) to the Bills
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is so true. When you step up to the line you have to look across and figure out who and where you are blocking. You adjust as the defenders move around trying to creat confusion pre snap. All while remembering the snap count. The last thing you need on your mind is ‘the guy next to me going to do his job’. When a line plays together for awhile and has talent , it can make the entire team better. Let’s hope Morse and Dawkins are two pieces and Beane can find or has found the rest. -
CB Kevin Johnson (Texans) to the Bills

McDermott has earned the right to spot talent in the D backfield. The injuries are concerning, will wait for the numbers before having a real opinion . -
Read what I wrote.

Not a big fan of Barr. Reminds me of Jason Taylor size wise but plays softer and can’t man the end like Taylor did.

Raiders trade G Kelechi Osemele to Jets
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is extremely difficult for fans to understand line play. Easy to say we had tons of sacks and a bad rushing attacking thus the o line sucked. Could of been that some of the line didn’t play well while others did. Mismatch of scheme verse strengths of personnel. I am not really sure. Until you sit down and watch every snap or every game can you truly understand how each particular lineman played. -
What is the exact time negotiations can begin?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to TheBeaneBandit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Definitely. To think agents and teams haven’t been speaking in ‘ hypothetical ‘ terms for awhile is just silly. IIRC the Haynesworth deal with the Redskins was done at 1201 am. That’s was a big deal to get done In 1 minute. -
I don’t see him leaving Atlanta. Julio is one of Arthur Blanks and Thomas Dimitrofs guys. The Julio trade was Dimitrofs first move as a GM. I could go either way. Julio is an amazing wide receiver. He has had some great games playing in the cold. He is the ultimate ‘throw it up and have him go get it’ receiver. The reasons not to do it- Julio is hurt a lot and misses a ton of practice time. This isn’t as big a deal when you have an established relationship and chemistry with your quarterback. In Buffalo it could prove a bigger issue. Julio has a very tough time in the red zone making touchdown catches. If Buffalo can make a ton of moves in FA and not need as much team building through draft, I would be ok with giving up a first for him.

On paper I agree. Brown never makes anything easy or stress free. He is an awesome talent. Let’s see how he likes playing for a franchise with a dysfunctional history verses one of the most classy. This is the kind of deal it needed to be for it to get done. Teams just didn’t want to give up a high pick AND then turn around and rework Browns contract.
