We had terrible olines . I couldn’t agree more with you. I always liked reading your posts debating oline with other posters. I played tackle into college, I believe oline is the single most important unit on the field. They help everyone look better, even the defense. id like to see one oline pickup in the draft and depending on Spain one in FA. I really feel like even without Spain we have 5 starting caliber olinemen under contract next year.

Which team is Joe Montana is rooting for?

Got to be SF. -
I agree that I think WR is a top need. I trust Beane to get us the right guy at the right pick. I also agree with finding another guy later rounds as a project. Maybe a slot guy to take over for Beasley in a year or two. So you aren’t clamoring for oline picks, does that mean you think they are set?

It was said as a joke. But since you called he dumb. Let’s dissect what I said. did Brady cheat? Yes is Brady as good as he was? Nope Did Brady throw a pick six to end his teams chances this year? Yep Brady is not good anymore, at best he is average and declining. People like you are exactly why I wouldn’t want Brady on the Bills. We have a good young QB on his way up.

Smart by Andy to put McCoy on a carry count to maximize production from an aging running back. Still, that is a very low amount of carries. -
Yep, the league has been trending back towards a balanced attack for a few years now. Spread options, RPO, and traditional I formation play action. How many more games would the Bills of won this year if they had put the ball in the right backs hands? Call me old fashioned but balance is how you win. Running and passing. Mahomes displayed great awareness yesterday of when it was time to use his legs verse his arm. I will also say that yesterday, Tenn should not of abandoned running Henry when they went down 28-17 with over half of the fourth quarter left. I believe they came out and did three straight passing plays after the Chiefs scores to go up 28-17. Punted the ball to Chiefs and the game was over. Vrabel and Tenn panicked and paid for it.

Off-season: Expected and Surprise Cuts
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have watched very little of the Jags. I also don’t like the idea of using just stats to pass judgement. However if the Bills are going to shell out the biggest contract in years for the team to one player, it Would seem to me it needs to be someone with proven track record. So far he has one season of 12 sacks the rest are 8-9.5 sacks a season. I trust Beane and McDermott when it comes to defenders. I don’t anticipate them taking a huge swing and missing in FA. -
Sammy Watkins: New Teams, Same Bad Attitude
atlbillsfan1975 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
good for Sammy! Rooted for him when he was a Bill and have no ill will towards him when he left. I don’t blame the Bills for trading him away when they did. I think the Bills got a fair deal. i hope Sammy has a big game in the SB. -
Sounds like nobody does when it comes to that guy who does the Progressive Insurance Commercials.

Green Bay vs KC. With this being the NFL centennial anniversary, throwback to the first SB. -
NBC Washington advocates following Buffalo model

Are you sure McD didn’t want an extra year? I don’t think either of us really know exactly why it happened the way it did. -

As far as closer teams I will say yes to Mahomes with Andy in KC. Watson will have to wait on another coach and GM for his shot. I think Beane and McDermott had a plan and stuck to it. They weren’t in the market for a QB in 2017. I think they wanted to extra year to build the team more before starting the clock on the rookie QB salary. -

I don’t think I agree totally on the premise that they missed out on their QB. I am sure you are going to say Mahomes or Watson, but neither of those QB’s has won a SB yet. I think that’s Beane and McDermott’s goal. -
Luke Kuechly Interested in Coaching
atlbillsfan1975 replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kuechly had a lot of nice things to say about Tremaine after their practice in preseason. If nothing else have him spend some time with Tremaine on his approach to film study. Kuechly was notorious for logging film time and notes on offensive players, systems, and coaches.
