  2. He’s talented no doubt but he’s on the precipice of washing out of the league and wasting his talent. 4 franchises in 4 years and signing a FA minimum contract, means his value is somewhere between training camp fodder and competition for a roster spot. If he can survive the cutdown maybe Josh can bring back that flashy kid from ND.
  3. Addison? Not that great a player. 😂 Moulds for sure Kyle Williams
  4. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/05/02/georgia-protests-corruption-russia-ivanishvili/ While America is focused on the college students occupying campus greens, halfway across the globe tens of thousands of Georgians have taken to the streets of Tbilisi to protest the government’s decision to pass a far-reaching foreign-agents law intended to stifle free expression in the country. We have recently returned from Georgia, where we witnessed citizens gathering nightly along the river leading into Tbilisi’s main square. Sign up for the Prompt 2024 newsletter for opinions on the biggest questions in politics Since we left, the protests have grown even more intense. On Tuesday, police used tear gas, water cannons and stun grenades against demonstrators. This only attracted more people to the streets, leading to frightening scenes Wednesday night: Police appear to have used rubber bullets against protesters. And although the Ministry of Internal Affairs denies the charge, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty confirmed their use. Pictures of the wounded are all over Georgian social media. Tamara Chergoleishvili, founder of the independent news site Tabula and a veteran of Georgia’s democratic opposition, said she had never seen so many people in the streets. The size and scope of the protests are a testament to how terrible the proposed law is. It requires all people and entities that receive more than 20 percent of their funding from outside Georgia to register as foreign agents — even if they are not acting on behalf of a foreign country. It would allow the government to closely monitor all the organizations it covers: religious, academic, humanitarian and civic groups, as well as media, watchdog and election-monitoring groups. Any that refuse to register would face hefty fines designed to drive them out of business or into exile.
  5. The problem is none of that is going to lead to a military solution favorable to Ukraine absent direct NATO intervention. And direct NATO intevention will likely lead to a tactical nuclear exchange and the end of the world. So we're stuck with a difficult choice. Continue down the escalation path or negotiate, or attempt to negotiate, security guarantees for all parties. If you want to say that's not possible because you believe the Russians will refuse to negotiate I contend that's a bad assumption. Everything is subject to negotiation. As an agreement between Ukraine snd Russia was reached over a year ago before it was scuttled by Boris Johnson's visit it shows its possible.
  6. You remember Atwater's hit in the superbowl against Green Bay? Knocked himself out and one of his own guys as well I think. What I miss is the defensive battles that would now be called boring. The cat and mouse, cagey nature of the game just doesn't feel the same now with everything being geared towards offense. I still consider super bowl xxiii the greatest of all time but I read a report recently where the writer was saying it was only a good ending but a terrible game because it was 3 - 3 at halftime. To me that's completely missing the point but maybe I'm just middle aged and out of date
  7. The Bills are entering an era of running a Big Ten offense. It's clear as day with the acquisitions that have come this offseason and how the offense operated when Brady took over. Coleman interview
  8. I bet you are the joy of the AA meetings.
  9. Yes, the coaching staff that led two epic collapses mover the last two years. That can’t beat a winning team.
  10. If we’re talking pure drought, no playoff appearances: Lee Evans Brian Moorman
  11. Yep. They’ve improved in a couple of areas (mainly size and run after the catch) but took a big step back elsewhere. Diggs was a surgeon as a route runner. They don’t have anyone with route running as a strength. Gabe was flawed but could run the 9. I’m not sure who is supposed to fill that role? One of my biggest gripes with this group is that I don’t believe that they can handle volume. To handle volume, you need to be a separator. Guys like Beasley and Diggs got the ball a lot because they were open. I think Kincaid will take some of that but not nearly enough. Coleman doesn’t appear to be a volume guy. He feels more like a guy that will catch some fades and crossers. Samuel will see a bunch of touches but I think it’ll be a combination of runs, screens and a few other routes I think that Washington / Ladd McConkey skill set is an important one. You need someone that can run those possession routes. Kincaid is going to have a ton of pressure on him because he is going to have to be that guy.
  12. I think there is something to this. When you watch his highlights, he runs decent routes but he definitely seems to drift towards contact for some reason - like he seems to bend the route toward the defender a bit. Like he needs to feel the defendant first before he can leverage himself away from his man. It’s very odd to me and probably can be coached out of him but your basketball theory may help explain why.
  13. Nice spin. 40th straight month of growth! Unemployment still 2% lower than when trump was in office! People see thru this bull *****. The stock market is doing great? why is that? figure that out and you will have your answer to why prices are so high. I laugh because people think if the re elect trump prices will automatically drop. But keep your head in the sand, that will solve everything.
  14. Russia wasn’t going to invade Ukraine either. Even though the US said they would, Ukraine and others doubted because it would be such a bad decision by Russia. Then what happened? I don’t understand people thinking that Russia is a rational actor making decisions based on considered thought of examinations of the facts. That’s not how it operates. As to the revanchism, you just need to listen to Putin himself, “In 2005, Putin called the Soviet collapse “the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century.” In 2008, then-Prime Minister Putin told President George W. Bush, “Ukraine is not even a country.” Soon Russia invaded Georgia and asserted “privileged interests” in the wider region. In 2014 and on a larger scale in 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. In 2022, Putin claimed that prior to President Nursultan Nazarbayev's reign, “Kazakhsnever had statehood.” In 2016, Putin claimed that Russia's border “has no end.”” (Source) “Firebrand Russian politician Dmitry Medvedev said Tuesday that the Baltics belong to Russia. Writing on Twitter, the former Russian Prime Minister referred to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia as "our" provinces, saying they had "soiled themselves" over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.“ (Source) Honestly, the idea that Russia doesn’t want to test NATO is just wishcasting at this point.
  15. Trump is such a fake. It is to the point that I don’t need a reporter to tell me those pizza boxes were empty. If he’s carrying those boxes you automatically know. And the pizza that they did have in the firehouse? You know he didn’t pay for it.
  16. A winter coat drive seems natural next time but this is amazing
  17. What makes you say that their coaching staff is better than the Bills? The Bills dominate them, have done a lot more, have actually been a contender, even last year with a slew of major injuries both early in the season and late in the season. So, can you explain your point, why you believe this? Or, is it just a joke, sarcasm? I am assuming the latter is the case-?
  18. I hear ya regarding peters fit….but even if we put peters at LT and Brown at RT, slide Dawkins to LG. of all the players of the drought era, I think we’d have to start my making sure we got an elite player, preferably at a premium position. Pass rush, LT, WR and those happen to be spots where we were elite, or close to.
  19. Da'Rick Rogers...WR problem solved! Ko Simpson...Safety problem solved and he would probably play for free as he is worth millions! Cap Savings!
  20. Moulds played on the first 6 years of the drought years—I think for this exercise so long as the player was on a drought qualifying year roster, it should count 🤓. This way we can also include Eric Wood for example, who played all except his final year in the drought.
  21. Kyle Williams - good character guy, fits right in to the need at DT Shady McCody - A little juice to the backfield Mario was a good selection. I almost went with Peter’s but didn’t know how he’d fit into the current rotation
