To answer your questions about RW fixation on trans shooters, probably because of Covington Catholic. Most mass shootings have simply been angry, loner kid shoots up school. Covington Catholic was a targeted attack on the faith most RW hold, and to top it off, the authorities and media played games with the investigation and transparency due to the nature of the shooter .. which incensed the right. Theres also a ton of violent threats from the far left trans community towards the right on social media. The RW certainly takes notice of that. Specifically death threats towards conservative leaders… like Charlie Kirk.

And if anyone bothered to read the article, both Guelli and the President of MLSE said that they would visit this, down the road. Nothing is going to be played in Canada in the near of somewhat distant future, like 5 to 10 years from now.

I appreciate the thoughtful post, but the numbers are not correct. There have been two verified trans “mass” shooters, both were at a school. Trans make up .11% - that means that statistically, in 2000 mass shootings”over the past 10 years, two of them were committed by trans people. Depending on the survey, trans people make up .5% to 1.1% or the population over 12 years old. Either number means that a trans people make up far less mass shooters than its population. The question is, why is the right wing and GOP so fixated on trans shooters and not the rest?

Overreact much? The NFL already plays games at neutral sites. What is the difference if a game is played in Canada, Brazil or Germany? The Bills have to play them like every other team. It doesn't mean they are moving. FFS they built a new stadium!!!

Strong is the superior player, even as a rookie. Tre White was benched by the rams last year; they even paid him to play for ravens. He is a stop gap player at best. He’s a great teammate no doubt, but he suffered two extremely serious non contact leg injuries in the last three years. He is not the same player who once played a rough brand of one on one defense. McDermott, in his wisdom may play White, as once played Humber instead of Milano. But it will cost the team touchdowns .

Yea, the others are a problem too. White people shooting up schools, black gang violence… we have something seriously wrong in this country. I won’t sugarcoat or absolve any of that. I will say there has pretty much been a trans/non-binary mass shooting per year over the last 7 years, culminating with what is probably going to a very difficult national conversation once the details of the Kirk assassination come out. Trans/non-binary identifying people are exploding in numbers and we have a clear trend of violence over the past few years. It needs to be addressed.. and it likely will be once the details of this story are fleshed out. 1% of the population can’t be committing a mass shooting per year since 2018 and nobody notices.
