Can’t have the surgery. Cataracts are the “get out of jail free card” I give my wife when she catches me looking at the chicks.

I find I spend most of my time trying not to hate other Bills fans! 😉 I’m now lucky enough to be semi-retired and my wife and I love to travel. Just this year alone we’ve been to Vietnam, Cambodia, and southern France (Provence), and in October we’re going to Malaga (Spain) to visit friends who left the US permanently and moved there in March. I’m a golf junkie…play a couple of times a week and plan to start devoting some real time to practice with the goal of getting my handicap into single digits. Oh, and according to Badol on this site I’m a drunk! Cheers and Go Bills! 🍻

Libs: The Sydney Sweeney ads are Nazi Propaganda
All_Pro_Bills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
A word of advice. If you're a man married to a woman or dating a woman and she says did you see the skimpy outfit that woman was wearing the correct answer is always "what woman". Never admit you look at anything or even under extreme torture admit that you find other women attractive. -
Andre was 7'5" and Hulk isn't that much shorter. I would say 6'7" sounds about right.

Yea height and consequent length is helpful outside - at tackle and edge. Where I do think @Paup 1995MVP has a bit of a point is on the interior it can be disadvantage because low man wins really counts inside. That said, David Edwards is a big man and he has been a good NFL guard in his career both here an with the Rams.

Could have used your help about ten years ago. One of my hobbies is writing. Always wanted a vintage typewriter to work on smaller pieces. My laws bought me one for Christmas but it didn't work. Never had a chance to actually use it. Sold it before I moved into a new house about 5 years ago.

Report: Terry McLaurin requests trade
Kirby Jackson replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s why this situation will work itself out. It just makes too much sense for them. I bet they have the contract worked out before their first preseason game. -
Who needs coffee, right?

Well this went to hell. My point of even jumping in this thread was to argue that’s what’s going on with the younger generation isn’t driven by politics. Are they screwed because of housing costs, interest rates and tuition costs? Sure, but to blame this on any type of political movement is nothing but avoiding accountability for their own lives. The young on both sides have it hard now.

And the Commanders are the team that I can most justify giving him what he wants. He is already theirs, so there is no trade compensation to factor in, they know more than anyone about his physical condition and are best placed to take a view on how much of his peak remains, they know he fits in their offense and they have four more years of cost controlled quarterback play.

Your 2025 Democrat Party
Orlando Buffalo replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Is there anyone who believes using the N word should get you beat like that? -
A welcome thread on an off day, Ethan, thank you. Like Steve Billieve, I play a lot of chess, although, oddly, I now prefer online correspondence games (i.e., one day per move) to over the board games. They're more like a puzzle to solve at my leisure than a tense battle. (I like the Sunday NYT crossword puzzle, too.) Doubles tennis, squash when I can, pond hockey especially. I'm by far the oldest out there every year, but I can still hold my own, at least in my mind.

Christian Benford....not just a zone corner
BillsFan130 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good points and it's definitely an interesting argument on who's better. I think it's pretty clear that: -Sauce has had a better total career so far -Benford had a better 2024 and seems like he's ascending. It's really hard to project who will be better in 2025 and onwards. Both are great players -
Bills have a playoff problem..It’s not Josh Allen (Warren Sharp)
uticaclub replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Allen is so clutch there is no excuse for him not to have a 100% completion percentage -
Yep. Literally all he did was say he wanted to get paid at the top of the market for a running back after a year where he led the league (jointly) with 16 touchdowns. His behaviour has been immaculate. I thought he'd hold out of mini camp and would have supported him in doing so, but he even turned up for that. He has done nothing at all to generate the hate he gets from some.

As long as men can continue to lie, there are 2 realities now, 2 divergent timelines. But the rift in the space time continuum will be corrected; time will reveal all lies. The alternative timeline that has no laptop, that has no Burisma, that has no coordinated conspiracy using the gov't apparatus to attack a presidential candidate will all fall apart and disappear forever. Worn away the sands of truth and erased by the righteousness of the wind. But what will endure is the failure of these lies. Given enough time, the truth will come out, the truth will set those hopeless souls free. Salvation is close, listen to the hand of time.

Did you see my TNG reference in the Training Camp 7/29 thread? "There are FOUR lights!" I'm always quoting TNG to blank faces, sigh.

I am sure Beane is looking into this. Can he make it work salary cap wise?
-
Sauce had his worst year in the NFL last year (was still very good) and Benford had his best year. Last year they were close, for sure. I can take an argument as I say that if you isolate 2024 alone your perspective isn't unreasonable. But Sauce has two absolute elite of the elite seasons under his belt. If you look at his PFF grades for 2022 and 2023 they agree with that. And when you look at catches and touchdowns given up and passes defensed Sauce still has a significant advantage. But the Sauce disrespect has gone way over the top. I know he is a Jet and we hate the Jets but he is an absolute stud.

Damn, I knew someone would "beat" me to it.
