But you can’t include Deone Walker without including Landon Jackson. You can’t selectively pick the guy that looks really good without excluding the guy that can’t get a jersey on game day. No one is advocating for bad long term decisions. 🤣🤣 Everyone, that disagrees with you, is saying, “in 2025 teams improve in season via trades. The Bills have a very good shot at the 1 seed and homefield advantage. They should make a move(s) with 2025 in mind before worrying about the future. You never know how long that window is open for. 6 weeks ago the Ravens were the Super Bowl favorites. They may be 1-5 in 3 days. Tomorrow isn’t promised.”

Game week thread - Bills at Falcons MNF
Goin Breakdown replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Milano and his injuries have kept the Bills from having a reliable LB playing these last few years. Although who's to say the next small LBr they grabbed wouldn't be hurt all the time too. Bernard isn't alway healthy either. -

Eagles running the play 4 times in a row is going to sway owners into banning the play in the offseason frankly I'm tired of seeing it since the Eagles are allowed to jump early don't remind me. WHAT A JOKE

I didn't respond initially. I was trying to figure out if you were serious or just trying to get a laugh out of whatever responses you'd get, maybe a bit like Jimmy Spags. The entire premise is close to the stupidest thing I've seen on this board, and we've all seen some very stupid things posted. How losing a turnover battle would be a good thing absolutely makes no sense whatsoever. Or, the idea that winning many in a row, whether it's 25 games or 525 games, has any implication for the next game that it means we will lose the turnover battle. I didn't read the entire thread, but I did see someone, maybe you, say something about "what does a coin flip have to do with it?" So, if turnovers were completely random, then it would be extremely unlikely that you'd win the battle 26 straight games as it's extremely unlikely that you'd flip a coin and get "heads" 26 straight times. In fact, the odds are 0.5 raised to the 26ths power or approximately one in 67 million. However, if you're flipped it 25 times, the odds of flipping it a 26th time and getting a heads is 50%. So, if betting on tails just because there were already 25 heads is still the same as the first flip, a 50/50 chance. Maybe less because I'd wonder if the coin is weighted wrong or both sides are heads. In football, it's not entirely random, kind of like a weighted coin. So, even if it was random the odds of losing after 25 straight wins of the turnover battle would be even odds. But, the reason a team wins this battle 25 times in a row is because they're awfully good at it. In that case, odds are good that you WILL WIN the battle a 26th time in a row unless the other team is even better at it than you. I still am pretty sure you're joking and looking for reactions. I've been reading your posts for years and never thought of you as clueless. I just wasted 5 minutes of my life that I can never get back responding, but I couldn't help myself any longer!

Respectfully, I think this is an issue with the fan base... as evidenced by everyone hating my thread! Everyone is starting to get impatient with this window and they're clamoring for bad long term decisions to be made. The most common theme I've read in this thread was "Rasul was actually really good for half a season!" or "Cooper helped us a little bit!" A 3rd round pick is an opportunity to potentially get a YOUNG SUPERSTAR on a cheap contract. Deone Walker was a 4th round pick and look at the impact he's already having as a rookie. I want as many of those guys as possible. You're all free to disagree, hate, laugh ... whatever you want. I'm on the side of not panicking.

A recent UK poll revealed 74% of Brits comprised of all political, social, economic, and age groups agree the country is broken. The survey was conducted by JL Partners.

This is just flat out wrong. It isn't for us to decide whether or not he is guilty. That's what the justice system is for. It isn't a perfect system but it is a system and that's a hell of a lot better than mob justice. Do I take allegations seriously? Absolutely. Do I automatically believe them wholesale? Absolutely not.

A false start on one of the guards that move before the snap would put an end to it, nobody is using it when they need at least six yards.
-
I would say the evidence shows pretty clearly that it is. Unless you think refs are just deciding to ignore it. All these SEE! False start! are being done in slow motion and still frame. Not live.

The Upcoming Trade Deadline: 2025 Edition
Warriorspikes51 replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
CB WR DT ideally we can acquire 2 of the 3 since our 1st round picks don't usually work out....Beane may as well trade one for an impact now if at all possible I'd say DT Simmons would be my top target. The yahoo link posted above claims his deal is very tradeable so who knows I'd gladly part with a 2nd & 4th for him he already has 3.5 sacks, 6 TFL and 1 FF this year Bosa Oliver Simmons Rousseau is at least an above average DL for the playoffs with the potential to be quite good -
Yeah, and the upper deck was about $400 to start the week and about $250 on game day. The post kickoff/puck drop thing isn't as much of a thing as it was with actual scalpers. Ticketing agencies rarely have a major drop post start time these days. I live across from a major concert venue and I want it to be a thing so bad again, but it just isn't. You are lucky if you see a bit of a dip. But otherwise tickets 10 before kickoff and 10 minutes after kickoff are pretty similar. Cheap is relative. New England was an expensive ticket, but also half the price from a few days before.

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
While I am enjoying the Jackson Hawes story, if I'm going to pick who is the rookies is going to be bona fide star it's Walker -
Unfortunately you’re missing the point. We’re talking about getting over the hurdle, winning it all in the Josh era. Dominating the Jets, Miami, NO should be a given. What defensive players in the last 3 drafts have made any impact? This year again, we went in knowing that we weren’t resigning Douglas and drafted 3 corners that either will not play or produce this season.Bishop has been a disappointment and the D-lineman drafted Tucker and Turner can’t get on the field. You sound like the public defenders department. The guy was investigated for rape and burglary. The fact that they didn’t bring a case is common with rape investigations. The victim goes through an ordeal of a trial especially when the accused is a big time athlete with resources. After not bringing a case in 2021, they reopened an investigation federally against him this year. Beane and every other GM were aware of multiple investigations. It’s your prerogative to defend Hairston if you wish, but with his shortcomings( one productive season 2023 at Kentucky, his reputation as soft against the run, not a willing tackler) and slight stature, makes you question why waste a 1st round pick on him.
