I have news for all of you who think a different GM is going to solve the WR issue lol -
Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?

The misses are forced errors because of how badly he has planned out this roster at WR. In 2018, all of our WRs were terrible So in 2019, he fixed them with veteran WRs in Beas and Smoke. Good signings and something we could do with Josh on his rookie contract. In 2020, we traded a 1st and 4th for Diggs, drafted Gabe in the 4th, and Josh had his most prolific season and we immediately went to the AFCCG. In 2021, we didn’t draft a WR until the 6th round. Released Smoke and signed Manny Sanders. 13 seconds ended our year. In 2022, we had the last chance at cap space and used it on Von. Released Bease and Sanders contract expired. Didn’t draft a WR until Shakir who is a good but limited player that we lucked into for the draft capital. Josh was now throwing to Diggs, Gabe, little dirty and had Shakir developing. They got smoked by the Bengals and all the talent they had on offense. In 2023, Beane saw how bad our offense looked last playoffs and drafted Kincaid in the first because he knew he needed to add a weapon for Josh. Drafted Justin Shorter in the 5th round. We wound up bringing Bease and Smoke back at the end of the year lolol lost to the Chiefs. In 2024, Gabe signed in Jax. Because it had been 5 years since we spent a better draft pick on receiver than we spent on Gabe, we had to go and sign Samuel for $8 mil a year instead of having a player on a rookie contract ready to step up. Then Diggs got himself traded and literally Shakir was the only player on the roster that had caught a pass from Josh. So then we used our first pick on Coleman because we were desperate. In 2025, because all we had was Keon, Shakir and Samuel, we had to sign Josh Palmer to a 9.66 mill per year contract. Again, did not draft a WR until the 7th round. In the time since we actually invested in the WR room in 2020, we have drafted one WR in the first 4 rounds. In that same timeframe we drafted 6 DL, 2 OL, 2 LB, 2 RB, and 2 CBs. Keep in mind that WR makes up 5 of the top 11 non-QB contracts in the league. So we have barely drafted one of the top 3 most expensive positions in football. So I posit that the reason he has whiffed on WR draft picks and signings is because he has only drafted WRs when he absolutely has to, and then overpaid for players who are only in free agency because they are not that good. So has he whiffed on DL a lot making him have to use picks over and over on them instead of WR? yes. But he is whiffing on WRs because his strategy of how to acquire them onto the team is dumb. -

If everybody is healthy I like our chances as long as Hairston can start and at least be average. We have more options scheme wise with him in there. Hopefully Hancock can step in for Rapp and be the guy next to Bishop. I fear we won’t be winning a Super Bowl if Rapp or Poyer is starting (and I love me some Jordan Poyer, but let’s be real). or we have to make some moves. Chauncey must be a real ****** if we aren’t bringing him in. He wants a path to playing time. He has one in Buffalo -
Eagles had a 34-6 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter of the Super Bowl vs KC with Hurts at QB. And Siranni at HC. Enough excuses. Find a way. Throwing up your hands and saying "golly but Mahomes and Reid" is not good enough. As far as Rex Ryan goes, he got as far with Mark Sanchez as McDermott has gotten with Josh Allen.

Or Ben Johnson or Mike Vrabel

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!

It also takes two to trade. We could have called on some players, but just because we call doesn’t mean those teams are in a rush either. Teams are going to try and find the best deals if they make trades, so it’s not our timeline they are on, it’s theirs. -
Well, the alternative is Rex Ryan and Kevyn Adams...

That was definitely their best game of the season so far. Good in all phases - PK, PP and 5v5 for all 3 periods. They played with energy, forechecked hard and stuck up for each other. Good team D too. Like Dahlin said, that’s how they need to play every game moving forward. If they do they will win more often than they lose. Really loving what Josh Doan is bringing to this team. I feel like Doan and Benson both raise the compete level of the entire team. They both look like very important players to the Sabres future right now. Hopefully that holds true. lol Timmins has been a welcome addition so far too. He’s been great on the PK and holding his own 5v5. He looks better than Clifton for sure. Once Kesselring is back he should be a really solid 3rd pair D for the Sabres. I can’t wait to see what Kesselring adds to the team. If he has an impact similar to or better than Doan, that could end up being a really nice trade for Buffalo. 🤞🤞 These last 2 games have me getting a bit excited about Sabres hockey again. I sure hope they can keep playing like this and banking some wins.

You do realize this playoff predictor is for the 2026 season, right? 😆

This! BTW, wasn't Joe Brady the passing game coordinator/wide receivers at LSU with Ja'Mar Chase and Justin Jefferson, and Joe Burrow at QB? Well, for one year anyway. -
Bills are Super Bowl Favorites

They may not be for much longer. -
Thanks. This is what I alluded to in an earlier post. In the offseason, the Bills were heavily bet by both sharps and the public to win the Super Bowl. (It was schedule-based). So if the books are going to take on more Bills futures bets, they're going to make bettors pay a very bad price to do so.

How can this feeling waiver? I always want the Bills to win the Super Bowl. I want it as much now as I did 30 years ago. It’s never about anything else.

Im interested in KC. They're gonna have a bad game pop up on them and it'll likely be a Raiders or a Broncos opponent. Their ego and chest are puffed up. Could a defeat pop that puffed up balloon and expose their flaws or will it just sting them? While everyone is praising their offense for being on fire I am concerned about the defense because the offense won't sustain this type of success but the defense is playing horribly.

It has to be the roster and coaching. KC being the roadblock is simply the bar that’s been set. There will always be a closest competitor in the conference. Some set a higher bar to clear than others. It’s unfortunate that KC/Reid are at their high point while Allen is at his, but those are the breaks. The roster/ coaching have been very good for quite a few years. Just not quite enough to clear that hurdle completely. It really can’t be anything else.

Have you ever complained/reported to mods?

Knock this ***** off. You're not better than him for doing it yourself. Grow tf up and ignore him. Not only do you encourage it by doing this you make it hard to have any moderation justify banning him when you do the same ***** thing you idiot. - Today

Enough debating about how likely the Bills are going to turn this ship around. Get your predictions on the record! This is for bragging rights at the end of the season for those who predict correctly (or at least come very close). Poll will close before the kickoff of the next Bills' game against Carolina. Vote in the poll. Afterwards, a writeup of why you picked what you did is optional but encouraged. As a reminder. Here's the remaining schedule for the Bills. @Carolina Panthers Kansas City Chiefs @Miami Dolphins Tampa Bay Buccaneers @Houston Texans @Pittsburgh Steelers Cincinnati Bengals @New England Patriots @Cleveland Browns Philadelphia Eagles New York Jets
