Can he show up to meetings?
-
They changed the rule this year I believe for players released after the trade deadline.
-
lol i was in downtown Dallas, probably 10 years ago attending meetings at company HQ. A bunch of us went out to dinner, then some stayed for drinks, we left the place maybe 10-1030? The mile walk back to the hotel was one of the sketchiest experiences i've had and I travel all over. I have a vivid memory watching a woman with a baby in a stroller, also knocked up, with a smoke hanging out of her mouth dealing drugs right out of the stroller. class acts all around. on the other hand that night was also my first experience with a jalepeno margarita, highly recommended

Strength (our offense) against strength (their defense). Weakness (our D) against weakness (their O). That's why I'm not buying into playing high risk high reward ball tomorrow. It is likely coming down to who makes less mistake. For example, if we get a turnover from their offense, it might just tilt our strength winning against their strength in terms of scoring. Conversely, if we give them a turnover, it is likely to tilt their weakness winning against our weakness. -
I was there. It was a Bills home game. Home team had to use a silent count.

They were 29th last year. And trending for the same before McDermott took over playcalling. Was worse v Tampa but his first 3 games as playcaller they were in top 3 in the NFL territory and that boosted the average.
-
That's what I thought. I thought players with 4 accrued seasons don't go through waivers, but everything I see says Cooks will go through waivers, so maybe the rule changed? Or I'm just missing something.

So I had to stop and think about this. Beane has a pattern of trying to compensate (or overcompensate) for drafting late in the 1st, by taking "high ceiling low floor" guys. They try to take guys who they assess as having the "want to" and the "work ethic" to take coaching and work in the off season to fill in the gaps in their game and build themselves up. Rousseau would be one example of this from Beane. He only had a single season of college football when he was drafted, very limited college football experience. Seems to me it took him about 3 seasons to really come on. I pegged Coleman as similar: only one season at Florida State, really not a lot of experience playing at a top college level. Coming out, concerns about his route-running skills, his release and his explosiveness. One of Beane's projects. So it wouldn't have surprised me for him to take about 3 seasons to really come on. But in order to do that, he has to have the "want to". He has to perceive a need to develop his skills and work hard. Plenty of immature wideouts have been incredible in the league *if they came in to the league with those skills*. Coleman came into the league as a "work in progress", one of Beane's draft pattern of high-ceiling, low floor shots on goal. I think he could become great because he has enough of the physical package, but he has to be clear-headed enough to see where he needs to add pieces and go out and work on adding those pieces (unlike sheer speed, release skills and explosiveness can be trained).

Josh Allen AFC Offensive POW Again (Week 11)!

I think we might have found our guy. -
How many here, sane or not, believed the Fins could beat the Bills? And Denver isn't Miami (Chiefs aren't the Bills right now either)--they are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, having won 7 in a row before the Chiefs game. This KC loss was hardly shocking. Nothing like Bills/Fins.

You're that dude, huh.. Interesting enough. Huh doesn't either.

Vegas don't care about the week to week regular season which is why they are vegas and not fans.

Thursday games are often total clunkers and difficult to watch. The way this season has gone, the unexpected has been happening more than you would expect. So, what’s the unexpected in this game? All Bills’ TDs are scored by Coleman on special teams plays, the Texans run game is stuffed, and the Bills win in OT with a safety. That’s a hell of a payoff for my parlay!

According to Cover 1, Coleman will be a healthy scratch

Not necessarily so, if they call up Gabe again. -

Haven't done a deep dive scouting report on the Texans other than a very stout defense and really good edge rushers. So my question for someone who has done some research is how is their edge against the rush? Sometimes, to be a good pass rushers you have to be long and lean, but that body type isn't necessarily good against a large drive blocking offensive tackle on running plays. I keep thinking of the Bills prime time game a couple of years ago when they faced the great Cowboy defense and Parsons and just ran all over them for the same reason...Allen hardly threw at all. If that were the case, the real key is to play from the lead and not to have to play catch up. -
Is pool toe as bad a sturf toe?
-
unless the Texans get a D/ST score or a very short field from a turnover, I see them having a hard time scoring more than 21 points, and probably not even 20.

There are stats and 6 TDs. But if you look closely, he did have 2 INTs and one really bone-headed. There were a number of passes he outright missed. On top of that, there were many instances, especially at the start of the game where he mis-directed protection that led to defensive guys rushing scotch free at him. I don't know this is even one of his top 10, 15 games of his career. And overall in NFL, will that game be one of the best 100 games by an NFL QB? I certainly think he can play better. To me, his bar is that NE play-off game. And there is a big gap between this game and that game. -
Lol... On that note, I'll leave you to your thoughts...

No it's not ran by terrorists. Now if you want to criticize their archaic interpretation of Islam, that's fair game.
-
We need the body. Actually any warm body is a Coleman upgrade.
-
The front is just an alignment - not a personnel package. We could run a Bear front out of our base defense if we wanted to. I'm sure we have the ability to. I'm almost certain we done this vs tush push teams. It's not a defense you live out of though. Too many ways to exploit it.

I helped coach that at the HS level for 2 years. Its really effective of guys just own their gaps.

He definitely is. I mean he is no daddy JoPo but still....
