Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

For sure they did wind tunnel tests - has been shown in some of the videos about the stadium design/construction -
Hoax. Consumers pay tariffs. Tariffs cause inflation. We also pay the expenses for your boy's private golf trips. What we haven't paid for yet, unfortunately, is reproduction costs associated with the release of the Epstein files. Any chance you could raise that release issue at the next MAGA meeting?

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

I’m still skeptic about Max and I hope he proves me wrong but I didn’t love his film. I thought there were a couple better DB’s and certainly better players in other positions available. We and Beane cant have Elam 2.0 -
True, as it relates to cost of attending live events. The high cost makes it difficult for the average blue collar family to enjoy going to a game unless it's a once a year special occasion they save up for. It's simple supply and demand. If people weren't willing to pay those prices, teams couldn't sell tickets at that rate. One benefit that's not often mentioned is that higher pricing is weeding out some of the riff-raff. When tickets were an affordable $10, the same obnoxious drunk nitwits that ruined our concert experiences were also going to Bills games for 'the party', exposing our kids and wives to foul language and rude behavior throughout the game. The flip side to the high costs is that there's now unlimited access to seeing every game of their favorite teams in glorious high definition in the comfort of their own living rooms, on their tablets, or phone. There was a time when games were blacked out and for many fans their only means of keeping up with the team was listening to the radio. If you were out of town or somewhere else without radio reception your lone option was reading the box score and write-ups in the newspaper the following day. So, yes, the live experience now caters to the affluent, but advanced technology has provided an option so that all fans can view games in real time.

The physics of “wind confusion” make sense to me. In this instance, you’ve got a very tall structure with the overhanging (and sloped) canopy that prevents wind from going straight into the stadium and “encourages” the currents to move up. Then, if the perforated panels do in fact “break up” the wind you’ve simply got a much less aggressive force attacking the structure. I’m really curious to see what it feels like inside. I assume they ran models of a full mock-up through a wind tunnel during the design stage… - Today

Is there anyone, that goes to games, that’s been to a NFL game at an indoor stadium in the last 20 years (not talking about those old domes like the Metro Dome or King Dome), that prefers a stadium outside?!? I sure as hell don’t. I’ve been to a bunch of indoor stadiums to see the Bills play: Detroit, Houston, New Orleans, Dallas, Atlanta and LA and much prefer it (although LA is actually open air with a roof and it was really hot). Our new stadium is going to be beautiful and I’m really excited for it. With that being said, an indoor stadium would have been WAY better. It’s infinitely more comfortable.

Wilkins left the realm of the merely “weird”when he decided to become handsy in front of tens of thousands of live fans and millions in a national television audience. Faced consequences for being freaky, and still continued to do so. -
Any word on Landon Jackson? All I can find was the injury precaution and the fact he “looks huge/like he’s wearing pads”

Pretty spot on. They’ve got him anywhere and everywhere, which I get. He has a magnetic and engaging personality to the younger crowd. The fact they had him presenting the MLB Home Run derby was weird though, a little too much Pat imo. -
Only accuracy he had as a rookie was DEEP. Ask Robert Foster. Maybe, selfishly, this helps to prevent his poaching and he sneaks onto the PS again. Shavers and Virgil are high end PS WRs imho.

I agree but there is some cause for concern. Whilst you expect some bumps, I did some looking around after getting an answer in the threads and the consensus isn’t that great so far from what’s been seen from the kid. He’s competing against not exactly elite players for that CB2 role. Might be the majority of people are thinking this turns into an Elam repeat from recent years but you’d like to see more. Bigger picture though, I’m with you. I hope Hairston turns out fine.

Some dudes just can’t control themselves. Similar to that Uruguayan soccer player Luis Suarez who had a run of biting opposing players when he was frustrated. -
Do we not use Elliott wave theory on this board?
