So last year around now I was pushing 195 lbs at 5'9". I felt for the first time since I was younger I could stand to lose some weight. So I tried eating better and hit the treadmill. Even did a 5k in the summer. I can't do them nearly as fast I used to in my 20s but still. I got down to about 180-183 lbs in September. Thought I was doing going but I've been slowly gaining the weight back. Up to about 190 lbs. I feel like haven't really done anything that dramatically different then the summer. But maybe subconsciously in colder/darker weather I've been craving more calories. He just got back from a mid-season knee surgery. Lately he's been playing out of position at DE on a number of snaps. He's played a grand sum total of 8 games and again, has dealt with a knee injury. He was the 41st pick in the Draft. Have a little patience. People act like all Rookies come out of the gate playing like veterans. For most, it's a learning curve that can take a year or two before things slow down. People were ready to cut bait with Cole Bishop not too long ago and look what he's turned into after a year and a half.
