Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF
hondo in seattle replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills #2 offense (ypg) #11 defense (ypg) TO: +3 Pats #14 offense #16 defense TO: -3 I don't think the Pats can score enough running the ball to keep up with the Bills' offense. So can Drake Maye pass well enough against Bills (currently ranked #1 in pass D) to win the game? The older, traditional stats point to a Bills victory. The Bills have the better offense and are more likely to win the turnover battle. -
There’s a chance that he might not want to join a ps and would rather sit and wait for the right opportunity, maybe due to injury. or maybe no one wants him. 😂 I’d feel a lot more comfortable about the S position if we had him. I was hoping for the 2024 version of Rapp. So far, it looks like we have the 2016 version of Donte Whitner. I’d love to see Hancock get a shot but I don’t thinks there’s any chance McD starts him over Rapp. What are the chances that Damar Hamlin is the reason we aren’t looking to upgrade Safety? If we signed someone, who would be cut? My vote would be Damar….Hancock is young, athletic and under rookie contract. Cam Lewis isn’t going anywhere. Ingram might cut when Hairston and the DL returns. Does the FO want Damar on the team and in the locker room at the expense of upgrading the position? Give me Simmons.

Still waiting on yours.

Good question! I think Maye has all the tools be a very very good QB.. I think McDaniels is a good fit for him, but as my wife says I am wrong a lot. (Also I believe they can help make each other.. Brady was an outlier he was fanatical about everything football.. most aren’t going be like that now.)

You are the one that thinks “swallowed it whole” is a dick joke, right? That the previous administration pressured google/youtube/facebook to engage in censorship is the opposite of a straw man. Do you know what the term actually means?

Anyone have “informed speculation” regarding why this injury that was supposed to be 3-4 weeks is taking way longer than that?

The Ray Davis-backup running back discussion
Kirby Jackson replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
For me, I’m not that concerned about how Davis has looked this year. I was okay moving on before the season. He did okay last year. His skills just aren’t dynamic enough to me. I didn’t like Zack Moss either. Motor was a much better player. You just can’t have slow feet. It doesn’t work in 2025. It is WAY too easy to defend. -

Well considering they came after him and tried to get him arrested, had his homes raided and two assassination attempt, I think he has every right to chirp back. There is no unification with the Radical Left. He doesn't need to be a punching bag. Not all Dems but the loudest ones are incredibly disrespectful to him. We find out in Minneapolis that a group of Muslims were stealing food from children and then bribed the Juror #52. Then 50% of immigrants commit immigration fraud. This is the state in which Tim Walz goes after him all the time. That state is nothing but a fraud state. Its the state I grew up in and now it's an awful place. Sorry, but there is nothing wrong with what Trump is doing. -
it's funny in the nfl what comes first? the coach or the QB?

If you’ve been to the beach in recent years you know it’s a huge market opportunity!

You got any other cliches when backed into a corner of how wrong you are? ”I don’t like big government over reach” Well Trump told a room full of high ranking officials we should deploy the US military on American cities “That’s just more dumb Trump talk, now let me go back to straw manning about Biden” You should probably stick to the main board, completely out of your lane on politics…

I think he needs a certain type of QB maybe.. like any other coach.

Sample size… -
Yeah, the lack of tackles suggests that either A) Sanders is constantly getting double teamed and washed out of the play or B) he can’t get off his block to get to the ball carrier. And it’s not like he isn’t getting opportunities. Aside from the Jets game, the run defense has been a sieve, as resistant as tissue paper.

Is Hawes in the process of surpassing Knox as TE2??

I can tell you this, if we trade a TE before the deadline, one of the two remaining on the active roster will be injured in no time flat. That’s just how it seems to work, sadly. -

i wouldn't mind moving on from groot and a pick or 2 and see if we can pick up a safety. i wouldn't mind if we kicked the tires on trey hendrickson. if we trade groot that should take care of the money situation. -

It's what I said though. I specifically said no one can blast on megaphones any loud music at 5:30 am where everyone in the town can hear it. It would be shut down in minutes once the police arrive. I was arrested once as a teen for having music too loud IN A HOUSE. Neighbors called TWICE. I was 18 and arrested. It was 11:00 pm and the noise ordinance is until 10:00 pm. Cops came once told us to turn it down if we don't, we're getting arrested. 45 minutes later, neighbors called again, I got handcuffed. But if the Muslims do it every single day, it's fine. Yeah, that's fair. I'm the born American citizen, only one neighbor complained and brought in. But in your world, you favor everyone but Americans. You literally said "who cares" to those who don't want to hear it. You speak for them? What if you're a 2nd shift worker, getting home at like midnight or after, go to bed only to be woken up by Muslim's blasting prayer music at 5:30 am for the entire town to hear. Who cares about that guy right? Or anyone in his position. -

They are not the President of the United States. He is not a commoner, he is not a talking head trying to get ratings, he is not a journalist. Should POTUS not be held to a different and higher set of standards than any other position in government, or the world??? He is supposed to be the leader of the free world, and his job is to be the great unifier of the UNITED states. All he does is sow division, throw gas on the fire, and vilify the left. Its called taking the high road, when they punch low, you’re not supposed to punch lower, and that’s exactly what Trump does. -

I would target Raheem Mostert on the Raiders for a late round pick. Would love to have a wily old vet like that as a backup RB for the stretch. -
You seem emotional. Maybe that’s why you missed “your second point is true”. Trump says something dumb and inflammatory every day if not several times a day. I can’t get worked up over each and every one. Get back to me when the military is deployed against civilians and then again when the same military marches on Canada and Greenland. Regarding your first amendment concerns - have you shared your thoughts on the Brandon Administration putting the arm on google/youtube/facebook to censor views they were unhappy with? I suspect not, but will be happy to be wrong.

He’s a difference maker in the run game. I think he’ll go down as a top 5 Beane draft pick, maybe higher. He should be on the field almost every run play, only a few without him to keep the D honest. -
I admit the +2 job McDaniels did with Mac Jones. My opinion of him as OC is strongly influenced by his time in St Louis, where I had a ring-side seat to his destruction of Sam Bradford (who resurrected himself x3 with Shottenheimer and Shurmur, proving he could actually play QB) From what I hear, McDaniels also was hugely involved with the offensive design and playcalling in Las Vegas and the results were....not good.

If we like Gore over Davis, why don't the Cards just grab him from our PS ? -
Should be an interesting matchup then the Bills can’t stop the run and our RB can’t seem to hold onto the football.. 😂
