  1. Past hour
  2. I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but it's interesting to think that a Jets loss in Tampa and a Patriots loss to Pittsburgh this weekend would leave the Bills, after the 3-0 start, with two 0-3 teams and one 1-2 team in their division. It would take an epic fail on their part to not take their 6th consecutive division title. The two 0-3 teams having already lost to the Bills are effectively 4 games behind in any divisional race. Good luck overcoming that.
  3. We didn’t attack down the field likely because Brady and Josh saw more effective ways to attack. I think people are too obsessed with “down the field”. Does that mean long bomb type attacks? Because the last time I looked at data in that those kinds of passes accounted for about 1-2% of pass plays. Right now the run and short passing game are working well. When teams try to take that away you’ll see what happens. Right now we have a very effective offense.
  4. That's what Dawkins said before and then after the game
  5. TJ has been impressive so far for a rookie. I like both the rookie DT's
  6. I often don't know how to feel about Bernard. Obviously he's made tons of big plays for the team and is the sole Defensive Captain. Certainly we don't beat Baltimore in the playoffs without him. On the other hand I often see him being washed out of plays too. Then you see Tyrell Dodson out there thumping people and wish he was still a Bill. Ultimately we have no choice but to take the bad with the good with Bernard. Regarding Tre White, against the 4.29 Tyreek Hill and the 4.37 Jaylen Waddle, Tre more than held his own. Those two combined for just 88 yards on 10 catches. In week 1 Tre didn't play and in week 2 he played 26 snaps (55%). Last night he played 100% of the 61 snaps. Tre was good against the run and had a tackle for a loss. He had a pass defensed. Tre looked better than Benford last night. With Strong looking promising and Hairston waiting in the wings, the revamped Bills CB group looks MUCH better than last year. Kudos to McBeane. Absolutely. Tre knows this defense like the back of his hand. He gets guys lined up correctly pre-snap. It'll be awhile before Hairston's a starter for the Bills and that's a bonus.
  7. Both Rookie DT's look really good for Rookies.
  8. Why? He isnt reliable.
  9. I think it’s in the epinephrine family.

  11. Again, who do you trust more? Bass' FG% in the Playoffs dips to 70%. And we all remember him missing that crunch-time kick against KC a couple years ago. Prater is 92.3% in the Playoffs. He has missed one FG attempt out of 13 and is 19 of 20 on EP's. I say we ride with Prater unless he looks like he loses the job.
  12. Yes. The play calling is not good, they wait until "break glass in case of emergency " time to let Allen loose. 2nd, we have no real speed, and no deep threat at all. This is sickening. We still need to be able to attack all aspects of the field, and we cant seem to do that. 4 injuries to the Dolphins DB'S and we dont attack?
  13. And the D is still finding it's sea legs. And I am quite sure Ed O could have played but McD felt it's not necessary. This is a team rich with talent. Do I worry ? Of course. But that comes from being a Bills fan. We are conditioned to worry and fret. Imo, it was too close and unlikely to be over turned so he didn't want to risk a lost TO so early in the game
  14. First, yes the coaching sucked, the play calling was terrible. Next: when I saw your 20 something reply post, I could hear Darth Vader saying " Impressive... most Impressive " 😁
  15. hey guys I just want everyone to know....Tua completed 22 passes for under 150 yards. Do you think the reason we didnt get any pressure or sacks was because all of Tua's throws were at or behind the LOS? I think that contributed to that fact.
  16. I know, it was a huge triggering moment for all of Western NY. You and everyone, which is when they usually aren't.
  17. You don't expect such a monstrous frame to be so nimble. He's light as a dancer. Who is Epenesa? 😕
  18. It's hard not to notice Walker's play on the field (his size alone sets him apart), but I like what I've seen from him so far. Sanders is there, but I haven't noticed him much. I hope these two will eventually take control of the D-line.
  19. On one hand the playcalling was just awful after the first couple drives. It’s a mystery why he gets so cute. OTOH, by the mid third Q, our D looked completely gassed so i guess ball control was the choice
  20. They're only numbers and these guys are DTs but FWIW, both defenses had similar snap counts... 61 for the Bills and 60 for the Dolphins. Kenneth Grant played 39 snaps (65%) and had 1 tackle and 1 assist. TJ Sanders played 36 snaps (59%) and had zero stats. Deone Walker played 19 snaps (31%) and had 2 tackles plus the tipped pass that Bernard intercepted. He also played 11 special teams snaps (42%).
  21. last offensive play of the game was a designed josh allen run...just sayin
  22. You can tell Walker and Hawes are starting to get that "I belong here" confidence
  23. TJ Sanders played 59% of the snaps on D and you'd have no idea. He has been invisible. Kinda concerning how Keon couldn't contribute despite the shockingly bad secondary for the Dolphins. Allen and Cook are amazing though.
  24. If Walker - a 4th round pick - plays well above his pay grade the rest of the season, is there any incentive on the Bills' part to reward him financially next season? I'm not talking about an extension, but merely paying him closer to what he might be "due".
  25. McD apologists refuse to admit it, but he wants an offense to keep his D off the field. Yes I'm worried what will happen in tighter games against great offenses. The Bills were at home on a Thursday and again appeared sluggish at times. 70 yards total from Shakir and Coleman is not good. With Allen 250 yards/gm should be a floor.
