  2. I think it really depends on the style of defense. To your point Wilfork was 6'2 325, Casey Hampton was 6'1 325. Then again, Ted Washington was 6'5 325. For linemen in general I think its advantageous for guys with longer arms to play on the edge, and for more stout players to play inside. My concern is when I hear about a guy who is really tall the 6'7s the 6'8s or 6'9s with pre-existing back problems.
  3. Absolutely ridiculous they haven't paid him already. Guy has been there his entire career, wants to stay, has put up 900 + yards every single year despite terrible QB play. Pay the man.
  4. He’s making a fraction of his market value. The same goes for Hendrickson. I left my job in June because I thought I was making about 80% of my market value. McLaurin is making maybe 65% of his. We need to stop pretending “quality of team” is a lead factor on a player’s decision making in 2025. It is A factor but nowhere near as big of a factor as guaranteed money and total contract. People long for yesteryear when guys wanted to play for a winner. Sure a guy may play for a winner for $1M instead of a loser for $1.1M but when you’re talking about $22M vs. $33M that’s WAY more of a factor. Can we all agree to not begrudge guys for wanting to make market value? That’s what every single one of us does. I’m not getting my hopes up but if I’m Beane, I already have an offer on the table (with room to add more if a trade is possible). It would be the old Mario Williams “don’t let him leave the building” approach. I just don’t think that he’s going anywhere.
  5. I heard he’s skinny and can’t separate. Honestly he would be an incredible addition. But I like that room the way it is.
  6. There is zero chance Washington trades him. They'll announce a deal Monday. It would be awesome tho.
  7. He's vastly underpaid imo. I don't think he is a malcontent - would you be knocking down the doors for a big contract with the trash he played with early in his career? Now he sees an opportunity to win with Daniels and cash in at the same time, which is richly deserved based off his performance.
  8. Stroud and Campbell both played sub 315 pounds. The Henderson point is a good one, and actually a nice body comp for Walker. That said, Henderson was a mad man. If Walker can get that sort of blood flowing through his veins watch out.
  9. I don’t know the offense would be stopped if we actually made that move.
  10. It sucks. That's what Homer Simpson says. He would get distracted by the allure of Hungry Hungry Hippos while playing the waiting game. But not me. I still want to see every scrap of the Epstein files. So how come the Don hasn't released them? It's almost as if he has something to hide.

  12. He was one of the guys I thought could be perfect for our scheme, and I thought he could be a 6th Round steal because of that. With the added work, he should continue to get better.
  13. Thinking hypothetically what that would look like, you'd have McLaurin on the field for like 80% of snaps. Then a roughly even share between Shakir, Palmer, and Coleman I would think. The formational versatility would be unreal and we'd have a legit #1 WR... All of that and returning the same elite run game that we had last year. Not going to get my hopes up but man that is tantalizing.
  14. I have a real bad vibe about it. I mean Washington a team on the cusp turning their stuff around with a good young QB b. I would have thought McLaren would have waited years for this. It's not like he's underpaid drastically. I mean the 15 mil is low, but I don't know. Maybe he could have worked out an extension or a year or two to get some more guaranteed cash. I don't like the vibe and the feeling of wanting a trade. I've always respected the player though.
  15. This is akin to my kid asking to go to a different family when I turned down his allowance request.
  16. Your apathy towards young people is why Trump is your POTUS for the next 7 1/2 years...
  17. He is definitely worth that to Washington right now, and he's a better player than Metcalf anyways
  18. I believe he wants $33 a year. The Metcalf deal.
  19. Somewhere in between most likely
  20. My thought is like $33M but they can make it work pretty easily as Greg illustrated. If they made that move, an undefeated season and Super Bowl is on the table. They’d be ridiculous.
  21. He's not losing weight. Florida has some of the best athletic trainers in the country , is not very good anyway.
  22. Does $30M per get it done? I'd think more like $35M...
