Your Mount Rushmore for bands from Buffalo
Draconator replied to XXXtraAnchovies's topic in Off the Wall
I didn't know Ted personally, but he became a world wide respected jazz fusion drummer with Gamalon and other projects. Unfortunately Ted passed away in 2015 from a small plane crash. Just YouTube Ted Reinhert Gamalon. -
RB and WR markets are actually insane.

I didn't realize he was making over $5m This year. I knew his entire rookie deal was under $6M so not sure how he got such a big raise. I could understand how you might think my credibility would suffer if I said singletary was a "reasonable substitute" for cook. I guess It's a good thing I never said that then. -
I went for the probably convetional; Pat; Josh; Joe; Lamar. I'd be absolutely delighted with any of the 4 for am entire season. But in the 1 crunch moment that is the order I'd take them

Golf is a great example of that. Everyone knows that guy with a two handicap who is so amazing at TopGolf. “It just sounds different!” That guy can’t even begin to compete for the smallest tours, much less play with the big boys. I used to live on a USGA tournament course, and I’d hear people brag about how they shot an 82, so they are only a few strokes off the pros. I would inform them that the pros tee off from across that road back there. Get a grip. -

Let’s rank the starting QBs in 2025
Kirby Jackson replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. If I had to pick a QB to QB a team for an entire season, Lamar would be my second pick behind Josh Allen. -
I pretty much agree. I would move up Geno and Purdy, probably in front of Dak and Herbert.

It took him three hours to score 60 -
I take it you've never met these two?

So if you had to put your life savings on one QB to put together a game winning drive in a critical moment, you’re picking Lamar?

AB signing with the Bills would have been a bad thing. There is no debating this. -
I hope he was always good with that decision. That is the kind of choice that seriously alters your life, but it’s usually best to be true to yourself.

Yes, I realize that and 3x $5 mill is a great deal different that 6-8x 5 mill. Math does matter. As to someone earning a huge raise, (which Cook has), what do you think Shakir is getting or Benford or Benard? Shakir's raise for 2026 is nearly 3x his 2025 and his 2027 cap hit is over 5x his 2025. Benford's 2026 is 3x his 2025 and his 2027 is nearly 8x his 2025. Bernard? 2.5x in 2026 and 4.5X in 2027. Obviously paying Cook a 3x raise is similar to the other similarly situated players on the Bills. We all understand that you don't want to pay Cook. We get it. However once you start saying Singletary is a reasonable substitute for Cook your credibility suffers. -

Most of your posts suck balls but this one is absolutely inspired. Really well done! -
We don't know what would have happened after 2018, had the Bills successfully traded for him. He may have had another season as the reigning top WR in the NFL. That is the point of my question. Bills were able to keep a lesser a-hole (and lesser WR) under control for 3 of his 4 years. Maybe they would have gotten a solid year or 2 from AB. Beane and McD were certainly not sharing your concerns about him when they were putting together a trade offer for discussion.
