  1. Past hour
  2. Would missing the playoffs with the reigning MVP of the league at QB count as crazy?
  3. Chiefs would likely butcher the Patriots if they met in the 1st round. Come playoff time they become a different animal altogether as we should know. But the Pats still have flaws to be exploited and with preparation can be disemboweled.
  4. Joe Schoen has a scouting background and familiarity with Pegula. He drafted the likely offensive and defensive rookies of the year this year. He drafted a superstar last year too. Schoen is a much better talent evaluator than Beane. Lol, Beane would probably admit to that. We don’t need a guy at this point to be the “ceo” of football ops. We need a guy that find more high end talent. Schoen likely stays at the Giants though.
  5. It would take Romo 47 seconds to get a play call in. NOPE
  6. Joe Ferguson of course, 2nd best QB this team ever developed behind Josh Allen. Gotta love LSU WRs er except Josh Reed.
  7. I know we won't - but I'd hire Daboll. He knows Buffalo & Josh, and it would be good to have an offensive-minded HC. Beyond that, if we hired him, for ONCE we would hire an actual DC with experience and their own schemes.
  8. I'll take sullen Doug Marrone returning over 'Chuckie' Gruden. And when you do give me Marrone, I'll carp about him. 🤨
  9. John Fetterman Isn't ABOUT to Take Any Crap From Sunny Hostin for Opening the Gov, Shuts Her Down https://twitchy.com/samj/2025/11/11/fetterman-shuts-sunny-hostin-down-for-trying-to-shame-him-watch-n2421546
  10. Screw the GM and HC idea - Let's get a new owner. Terry is out to lunch. Just ask Pat Lafontaine. I did....
  11. First of all, I don't think he would take the job. Those TV gigs are cushy and probably pay a lot more than an OC job. Secondly, if you want to take someone from the booth who could call a game you should take Romo. Before CBS neutered him, he was calling both the offensive and defensive plays based on pre-snap looks.
  12. That baked bus driver from St John Fisher training camp! He knowz da Billz!!!
  13. Wheres Mike Mayock to be our GM? Lol
  14. I'd take Jeff saturday! And Like Kirby said above... Shoen as the GM because he can draft good kids but totally whiffs on ANY FA signing or opportunity and has run the Giants into a butt joke. I mean now that the sarcasm is OFF - what the hell am I reading in some of these posts???? Joe freakin shoen from the Giants???? Brr ha ha ha! Unreal.
  15. I would try and poach Dan Orlovsky from ESPN, as our OC if we're keeping McD. He knows a ton and is extremely insightful when he calls games, as well as his weekly appearances on One Bills Live.
  16. He was "meh" up until this year. Last year he was pretty much the only person they had to throw to.
  17. it doesn't always appreciate. look at some of the homes in florida after the hurricanes. some have dropped wildly in value, and with the increasing insurance costs of insurance, some of the real estate down there is taking a hit. can you imagine if people had 50 year mortgages. and if someone is taking out a 50 year mortgage, there's a very good chance they don't have the ability to pay it off in 25 years. if they could they would have taken a traditional 30 year and saved a ton. republicans are also furious about this. i think trump went a little rogue and moved too fast on this. again, this isn't political at all...it's financial. thank you for articulating this so well.
  18. Beane runs these drafts. They are well documented on film during the draft and there is plenty of footage of Beane making/adjusting/remaking decisions in real time. This isnt a mystery or conspiracy theory. Every draft since 2018, Beane was in control of. McD isnt even in the room usually. That said, every GM, all 32 of them (ok maybe not Jerry) gets input from the HC and coaches about what they are looking for in players for their schemes and how they want to play. McD's Defense needs light LBs who can cover, so that's what we get. But he isnt telling Beane "choose Terrel Bernard from Baylor". There is sooo much work and scouting that goes into putting a draft board together, most/all coaches simply dont have the time to contribute that much. You can also see this live in real time in the Giants Offseason Hard Knocks. As for 2017, that was McD drafting based off Whaley's scouting department. McD (and Terry) knew they were about to change GMs and McD wasnt going to saddle the new GM with someone else's QB pick. Especially with the way the 2018 QB class was being hyped at the time. And especially suing Whaley's QB info. Less to do with the specific players and FO roles, more to do with timing. If Terry had been able to clean house right away and get Beane hired in January, we very well may have picked Mahomes.
  19. People keep saying this. But you would be surprised how quickly things can spiral out of control. When the season started, I would say the fire McDermott/Beane crowd was less than 10-20% of Bills fans. Very much in the minority. Now after the Dolphins loss, I would say it's at least 50%, if not well above that. Pretty much everybody I know is done with them. And as I write this, the team still has a 6-3 record, is still in the driver's seat for a playoff spot, and still (mathematically at least) in contention for both the division title and top seed in the conference. There still seems to be some optimism lingering that Buffalo will turn things around. But I'm not sure we see a repeat of the 2023 season. The way this team has been playing on both sides of the ball all year long, I could easily see them dropping another 3-6 games. The Bucs, Patriots and Eagles should be heavily favored at this point. The Bengals could very likely have Joe Burrow back. The Steelers and Texans are toss-ups. I'm not sure where the idea came from that McDermott and Beane are completely untouchable. No owner was going to fire their GM or HC with the record they have amassed over the last 5-6 years. But if they miss the playoffs, 90% of the fans in Buffalo and the voices in the media will be screaming for a change in leadership. That pressure could be too hard for the Pegulas to ignore.
  20. You were right all along! Now that’s a shocker!
  21. Boutte was a late-round steal. That guy is legit.
  22. The Bills have yet to officially announce it. That will probably happen tomorrow.
  23. When I was a kid, I remember the Bills being my life. The mood of the community was affected by how the Bills did that weekend. That was for 14 Sundays a year. A few highs, but mostly lows during that time. Now we are much older and we have a lot of other adult things going on in our lives. I still follow the Bills closely, but it’s not like it used to be. I don’t live and die by them. I’ve been to 2 Bills games this year, both night games. I hate night games for a variety of reasons , and I found myself wondering why I was there. It was strange, and new for me. The Bills are a thing for me now, not THE thing. I like a good discussion as much as the next guy. I am painfully aware of things I’d like to see fixed. For better or worse, the board is a lot like the outside world with very vocal extremes. That leads to a lot of anger and even some venom and name-calling. That’s not discussion anymore with where some of this goes. I blocked a handful of posters after the opener. That helped to get rid of that much pure negativity. It’s a weird place for me to be right now. I don’t mind the Bills as much as some of the fans.* *Nothing personal to anyone, honestly. We’re just different, that’s all. .
  24. Reminder: "your government" on January 5, 2021 = the Trump government.
