  1. Past hour
  2. Is there any way to block the Ravens offense (or more appropriately, the Bills defense) for 3 1/2 quarters? That would make for a much more enjoyable viewing experience.
  3. This is why coaching is so important. Coaches set the tone for the entire organization. Having the patience to develop a QB comes directly from the head coach. McDermott had already bought himself job security by breaking the playoff drought, so he had the patience to let Josh Allen develop, and built a strong defense with good leaders to keep them in games. But Josh was pretty good out of the gate, in the grand scheme of things. He had lows in his rookie season, but he also had highs. And then he took the Bills to the playoffs in his second year. He was a functional QB. There was never really a time where it seemed like he was a bust or should be benched.
  4. And Bisons are the Blue Jays farm team...another tie in. Interestingly, while basketball is popular, I wouldn't say the NBA is overly popular here...and when people are fans, it is usually the Cavs(thanks to LeBron) or the Knicks...same way many are Yankees, Mets and Guardians fans, but not a ton of Blue Jay fans.
  5. That was awesome! He definitely could bring some juice and big plays to this already very good offense!
  6. The problem is that for so many of those organizations, the problem stems from one thing that can't be changed; involved, bad ownership. That's true of the Bears, Browns, Jags, Panthers, Jets, Titans, and Dolphins. It was true of the Redskins/Commanders, and towards the end Irsay got very involved in personnel decisions in Indy. We should know, as this was our problem for the better part of two decades. And it still could be if Beane and McDermott didn't have big enough personalities to get Terry to butt out of football decisions in Buffalo.
  7. Thank you. That throw was a thing of beauty. A joy forever. Josh has the clutch gene, that's for sure.
  8. I left the same time you did, for the same reason. My dad (getting up there in years) wanted to leave after the Henry TD made it 40-25 so that we could beat the traffic on our drive back to Rochester. I convinced him to stick out 1 more drive and to stay if the Bills scored, but then we punted with 9 minutes left in the game. Couldn't justify sticking this one out when my dad was already exhausted from the long day and it felt like we had 1% chance of winning. It's nothing short of miraculous that our DEF forced two 3 and outs and a fumble after that. We had only forced 1 punt (and no turnovers) on the Ravens first 9 drives.
  9. Might also be to promote the raptors - so mutually beneficial I guess. Im from Toronto, have seasons at the current and new stadium and go to every game. It’s an easy commute. i also have raptors seasons and rarely bump into anyone from Buffalo. So maybe that is part of it and will come to light later. And MLSE is owned by the same company that owns the Blue Jays. So some opportunities there as well.
  10. My last thoughts before I mentally move on to the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!! 1. Pretty sure the tipped pass to Coleman was heading to Shakir when Knox jumped up and tipped it wide of Shakir. 2. Taron Johnson, Milano and Bernard were invisible in that game unless being shown get beat by the RB1 or WR1. 3. Dehop pulled that ball in with Benford holding his other arm hostage. Just an incredible pitch and catch. 4. While I never, ever give up that 2 play sequence where LJ8 was almost sacked 15-yards, escapes and rushes for a first down, followed by Henry running down the sideline on the next play really deflated me. Things certainly seemed bleak and inevitable. 5. The problem Baltimore had in that game is they scored too fast. Buffalo ran 85 offensive plays versus 52 for the Ravens and 35 TOP minutes Buffalo versus 25 minutes for Baltimore. Baltimore defense was gassed at the end of the game. Baltimore D was on the field 10 more minutes and 33!! more plays.. 6. I was not a fan of taking the XP off the board. I never, ever like to take points off the board. That missed point was consequential throughout the game. So too of course was the one missed by Loop. 7. I loved the fact that Flowers did his pageant/Queen wave to the crowd and then lost the game. That will certainly be a meme. 8. The video of Oliver blasting LJ8 on their final 3rd down play was amazing. Very rarely anymore do you see a QB takig that kind of hit. 9. Allen threw 3 unbelievable passes in that game. First TD pass to Kincaid, the pass to TJ that he didn't catch at the pylon and the dime to Palmer. 10. Even 2 days later, I am still stunned at that last 4 minutes of the game. It was very Chief-esque... How damn lucky are we to have JA17 as our QB?
  11. Did we not put a spy on Lamar during playoffs to limit his mobility. Don’t get me wrong he’s still going to make some plays. And our containment of Henry was exponentially better during that game. Was our defensive plan wrong or just not executed. Or both..
  12. Of course Don't get me wrong with Derrick Henry you do want the defensive line slowing him down a little bit not letting him get that head of steam But you need great Gap integrity all around I also think early in the season some linebackers and safeties are making business decisions and don't want to end their season breaking a collarbone on Derrick Henry week 1
  13. Yeah Europe isn't dealing with any fallout over immigration correct? A healthy environment at the expense of the local population. Nice.
  14. There is that, lol, but all the more reason for those crappy teams to at least attempt to have a structure in place,
  15. people want to we are a small market, but with it extending into Canada, up to Toronto and over to Rochester, that gives the Bills a population base of almost 12 million people(if not more) to draw from, far larger than some of the "bigger" market teams. 15% of the Bills attendance comes from Canada. This puts us probably in the top 1/3 of the NFL(easily) in terms of gameday population to draw from and on par with places like Chicago, which is why a lot of the small-market talk is a bunch of nonsense when you actually take a closer look at things and where the attendance comes from.
  16. Him, Eli Apple, and Jalen Ramsay just don't know when to shut their mouths.
  17. Lamar doesn’t throw into tight windows like that usually. He somehow seems to be constantly throwing to wide open receivers actually.
  18. It’s not a cop out. Ireland is a first world nation with the capacity to provide a healthy environment. Yemen is not.
  19. They’re not doing anything wrong, that’s why ICE needs to go away.
  20. Maybe that’s it. Sell merch and tickets and drive up ticket demand.
  21. Alexander was really struggling out there too...think his knee still isn't right. They really started picking on him in the 2nd half. I can't say I blame him, Alexander is probably one of the biggest punks in the NFL.
  22. Palmer also put a move on Alexander. Almost made him fall down. That makes me really happy because what we lost with Diggs is that elite route runner who can create separation with skill.
