I remember seeing that when it came out. Football in the 70s was something special.

Saw this in passing today so I dont have the actual numbers at my fingertips, but some interesting numbers from the PFF folks. Normally I take their stats with a grain of salt, but found it interesting that the top graded player for the Bills against the Dolphins was Edwards at about a 95. They also mentioned that collectively through 3 games the Bills offensive line grades out at number 1, about 10 points higher than the number 2 team..and that spread is pretty significant.

People downplay regular season success though it feels like…yea they’ll more than likely make it but if you’re battling for the wildcard/division, playoff-style football starts much earlier. that all takes a toll. that defense has been freakishly healthy in their last few playoff runs and a lot of that has to do with being able to rest key players while they coast to a division win even the year they were the 3 seed they knew the 1 seed was out of the question and the division was clinched so they got to rest guys down the stretch. If the bills were the 1 seed either of the last two years they woulda made the Super Bowl imo. Especially the year where our whole LB room got murdered against pit in the wildcard round haha

Evidently we disrespected Macron not letting him cross the presidential motorcade. Police held him while Trump went to the UN. And the aus prime minister, too. Not sure who that is, though. Macron married an old dude is all I know about him.

Saw this Friday and didn't feel worthy of its own thread. Rutgers put an absolute unit in it FB, to smash a hole in the pile... not a block... just a snow plow bludgeoning of a hole. Looks like a DT lol Also wanted to post this for funsiez... Iowa couldn't have possible made this play any more condensed of an attack lol was like two semi trucks in head on collision Mind as well. I think i hate this one LOL but I feel like a team that runs Tush Push well could pull this outta their back pocket, and walk in a 80yarder just because everyone is buried already https://x.com/mfaltas_/status/1916635430029529529

I find it hard to dislike Lamar … I respect his talents … although wouldn’t swap our guy for him …. I don’t have much problem hating on a lot of his teams fans though

You wouldn't be talking about when he pretty much ignores Josh so he could parade around yelling about the "effin (get this) REFS"? That game?

Routh is just a weirdo -
This seems more directed at platforms than individuals, but what happened to Lefties Like Free Speech? Another hot minute has passed?

Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on
SinatraSinger replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that all the problems in the secondary go away if they can start to generate a pass rush, and/or some penetration into the backfield. I am hopefull that when the suspended players can return this will help. -
Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
thewookie1 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ravens FTW, the higher the chance the Chiefs have to struggle and claw for a spot the better. We can beat the Ravens in the playoffs but seemingly can’t take down KC. -
Even with his average pass blocking, Torrence could see a huge payday as a free agent. Perhaps Bean makes it work, but maybe it's an opportunity to save close to $20 million a year — if you find a great rookie. Big If, of course. Even if we resign him, I think having linemen in the pipeline is always a good idea.

Game week thread - Saints at Bills
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
No matter how bad this team is, you still have to take them seriously. It’s the nfl. Come ready to play. The last time the saints were here it was one of the most embarrassing days in recent Bills history. The saints are the worst team in the league, i get it. There is zero excuse for it to be close. But taking your foot off the gas is how that happens. Take it serious, line up and send them home with a L -
The ATLANTIC: Left Wing TERRORISM on the rise
JFKjr replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
They're suggesting that 'eliminating an unacceptable speaker' on a college campus is TERRORISM now? When all signs point toward it being a person trying to impress his lover. So more of an "Overzealous attempt at love bombing." You know, some Misguided Flexing. -
FWIW, Strong is terrible in his ST role. His gunner was running free all night long.

With McGovern and Torrence both having contracts expiring we could be in need for an interior Olineman. I suppose depends on SVPG's development.

Do not take medical advice from Donald Trump.
JFKjr replied to Homelander's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'm not going to speak for Harvard, it's their study. You just mentioned about women being 'careful' about what they take during pregnancy. A brand spanking new mRNA gene therapy shot would certainly fall in the category of something they should be CAREFUL about during pregnancy. Somehow that all fell by the wayside during Covid. -
Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
HappyDays replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
In that scenario they're likely playing at LA or at Baltimore before they come to Buffalo, after having to play with full effort down the stretch of the season just to stumble into the playoffs at all. All that after spending multiple seasons in a row on deep tiring playoff runs. Meanwhile we'll have just rested everybody for 1-2 weeks. If we can't take the Chiefs out under those circumstances that is the final nail in the coffin on this coaching staff. The WORST case scenario is that they take out another top AFC team and then limp into Buffalo. That is an outcome we should be rooting for!
