I will reiterate that if you want your kids to do well, you focus on your KIDS and their ability to bring value (and thus earn money). Yes they are affected by the economy, but you or I bleating on a message board about it doesn't do anything to change the economy. So you can "focus" on the economy as much as you want. I'll focus on my kids and the skills they're developing, which they'll need no matter what the economy is doing.
