  1. Past hour
  2. One would hope Benford/Hairston and Bishop help change this. If by the Bengals game, Max isn’t getting most of the snaps, I’ll be at a loss for words. I will acknowledge that Tre seems to be playing better lately, but that’s a game we need Hairston/Benford vs Chase/Higgins.
  3. Amen on the "flashes" part. Its overused on this board too much, to me just another way of saying a guy has a good play once in a while. The other larger part of their play, not so much.
  4. Yeah I definitely think that is some of it. But there also tends to be a big difference in the way the Sabres play. Watch how engaged they were playing Edmonton, then watch the Calgary game. You can see the difference in effort level and engagement clear as day. They hustled to every puck and tried to win every battle against Edmonton. Against Calgary it was the total opposite. They looked slow to every puck. Barely tried to battle. Let Calgary camp in front of the net. etc etc. Then you have Sabres players saying stuff like this after the game: Tage Thompson: Samuelsson: and Ruff: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6822312/2025/11/20/sabres-loss-flames-red-flag-thoughts/ This about sums it up…
  5. Boooo, was excited for a minute
  6. We can thank Kathy Hochul for signing the "All Electric Buildings" proposal into law, starting in 2026. All new buildings under six stories must be ALL electric, no gas. How convenient when AI has exorbitant electricity demands. Too bad consumers won't have any choice.
  7. How do people still not realize we do this dance every year? We start the season with Allen reigning it in a bit. First month to two months of the season, not so many designed runs. Let Allen avoid taking a lot of shots early in the season. Then around the bye, the gloves come off and Allen goes wild with running, taking more chances. It's a long season and reducing Allen's hits early in the season is a calculated move by the Bills.
  8. I like the guy, but he is a hothead and doubt, McBeane have an appetite for it, and we need WRs from the draft, not $30 mil. from free agency. They have to try extend McGovern and Edwards. After this year’s extensions, we don’t have the $ for a big ticket item. it may seem boring, but WR#1, LB#2, and S#3 are top priorities. Extend our excellent inside guys and even Torrence will be coming soon are optimal.
  9. If we never play Burrow again it will be too soon. Ive never seen a QB that we match up worse against (at least with McD's soft zone defense and weak pass rush). He has looked like a surgeon against us just slicing us up effortlessly. The playoff loss, the regular season loss and even the start of the Hamlin game, Burrow was just moving with ease through our defense. We might have beaten him had we got pass the Chiefs in the 13 seconds game as he hadnt quite got to the elite level yet, but we never got the chance. Since Burrow came to the NFL we have never figured out how to confuse him or neutralize him. He seems to read our defense easily like an early reading book for kids.
  10. Henry will rush for 300+ yards for sure in the 2nd half .................lol lol lol
  11. philosophically mcd lives in fear of the deep pass, will allow teams to run, and wants to generate run stuffs, tfl, sacks, and most of all turnovers. if we were to make an infinite game out of all of his seasons where, where opponents gain points and yards over time and we gain points and yards over time, the D has been actually quite good. if we look at average game performance, it has also been quite good. where it has failed is that it simply does not provide a high degree of difficulty vs specific teams in high leverage games (every kc playoff game, this year i'll say miami only, new england was lost by turning the ball over this season, atlanta was one of the worst d performances ever for a half, then mcd took the family business back from his wretched fail son babybabich). i think the d roster is a mess with the injuries, but there is an element of mcd being stubborn and sticking to hard to his guns wrt his philosophical goals (putting in less mental mistakes but crippled AJ klien over mistake prone but athletic phenom rookie dorian williams vs kc in 2023, only punt forced in the game came from williams just being a baller and making plays). he will keep an obvious bad athlete like damar on the roster because he likes the steadiness rather than shake it up and put in someone with higher variance guy who can actually make plays. while i respect his bent towards conservatism when it comes to deep passes, we get trucked so hard with explosive runs, and in selling out to just not allow teams to attempt the at best hard passes down the field, sort of make it easy mode for them to just line up and run to move the chains and get explosive scores. it puts us in a bind sometimes where missing one LB or one pass rusher creates too obvious of a hole that the opponents can exploit over and over again. my fear is that he will play a hobbled 7 and 8 (i will admit, bernard did look a lot better vs tampa) and the injuries up front will be too much for our second line to overcome, but if we can get ed back and be healthier upfront, and have more burn for williams and thompson, and have a back 4 of poy/hancock, bishop, max, and christian we might be able to make 4 stops/turnovers in each of our playoff games which is enough to win convincingly based on how allen and cook and co perform in the bright lights.
  12. Of course but there's still a lot of moving pieces for lineman and the skilled position players especially in a gruden offense A quarterback has to be extremely smart in his offense because the play call is extremely tough.. but the linemen also have 150 different verbiages being used Every single player on the team has to know what scatter to West right tight is... And then listen for their job in the play... With a lot of different personnel groupings and formations off of that... It's not an easy digestion John gruden probably has 1,000 plays in his book.. and condenses it to maybe 120 or 150 play on the call sheet... But you still need to know those 1,000 plays technically
  13. Are you still planning to do some holiday shopping, or is it all going to pay for your beef and eggs?
  14. But the stats are that the Bills are 23rd (10th best) in missed tackles. https://sports.betmgm.com/en/blog/nfl/nfl-teams-with-most-missed-tackles-this-season-bm10/#:~:text=One of the biggest keys to having, the most missed tackles during the 2025 The Bills tackle well. Yards after contact is a different stat. Not every contact is a missed tackle.
  15. I was thinking the same crazy thing if Knox is a cap casualty next year.
  16. Apropos of nothing... https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/nfl-monitors-return-of-supersonic-flight-for-potential-european-expansion (The original WSJ article is paywalled so I got this instead)
  17. the charges were dismissed not sure if you know that
  18. He's definitely a separator. Like 100%.
  19. A player only has to concentrate on what part of the play call relates to him unless you're the QB.
  20. Bills 24 Texans 10… the Texans D keep it close till the end but the game is never truly in doubt.
  21. If we go round 1 WR a guy I really like is Chris Bell out of Louisville
