  1. Past hour
  2. He only needs to be Knox level consistent
  3. Neph, I agree wholeheartedly. Josh reminds me of Coach Lad. Bob Ladouceur was the legendary head football coach at De La Salle High School in California who won 151 consecutive games, the longest win streak in American sports history. Amazingly, unlike some other coaches at successful programs, Lad didn't recruit. He took whatever kids he had and taught them to play hard and execute at an extraordinarily high level. And he didn't talk about winning. His culture was centered on personal accountability, meticulous preparation (aka process), and teamwork. Some quotes... “We never really talked about it (the winning streak) much...I told them to hustle and play to the best of their abilities. And, when we won some games but played poorly, everyone knew not to be satisfied.” “I really don't think you can win 151 games in a row if you're trying to win.” “I looked at football as a vehicle to reveal character.” “It’s not about playing a position. It’s about playing for your friends.” “I am entirely focused on you as a team. I want you to realize your full potential. This has nothing to do with winning.”
  4. He was not going to change. It was our fault for not 'understanding'
  5. Kimmel has been losing ratings for years.
  6. I'm not a regular Kimmel watcher, but I did tune in on Monday - that fateful night, in retrospect - to see how he'd deal with the Kirk murder. It was all pretty standard, with Kimmel properly decrying the killing. He then pivoted to how the MAGA folks were all too eager to use the killing to gain a political advantage. He did imply that a MAGA guy was probably behind it (something that we now know for sure isn't true), but he didn't flat-out accuse a MAGA supporter of being the killer. His line about Trump somehow rambling on about his White House patio/ballroom project when asked about Kirk was spot-on, and kind of cringe rather than laugh amusing. But perfectly fair. So I have to conclude this isn't about comments about Charlie Kirk at all, since there really weren't any. This is about criticism of Trump. As it always has been.
  7. What does that mean? And, put your finger on the violation. There's no profanity or hate speech here. This isn't something that would get a license pulled in any iteration of a rational universe. Yet here we are.
  8. They definately seem to be loading up on some big bodies up front... I would say so far Hawes is the "pleasant surprise" of our draft... I feel like even if he goes he will be back in a year or two LOL
  9. Accountability is the Dems kryptonite.
  10. It may be. I think the FCC comments did it in large part because the candle of the show (probably profitable, but not a huge profit driver like, say, MNF, Saturday Night Football, or 90s Seinfeld) wasn't worth the game of the FCC headache. And, FYI, this isn't directed at you, but at the person who cited the August numbers. It's friggin August. TV viewership is down across the board. They're also 18-49 numbers IIRC, which probably aren't the target demo of that show.
  11. How long before fish GM and HC are fired after the game?
  12. Wait. A for profit show on a for profit platform was cancelled as it was losing viewership and want making anywhere close to a profit.
  13. Modern liberals cannot grasp that a free person has good or bad consequences for their actions
  14. Not as far as you know, don’t be so hard on yourself.
  15. It’s what you get with a player like JA17. It’s a part of his game that’ll exist as long as his legs do. On the flipside, I would much rather he jams a finger on his throwing arm than gets horse collared or takes a shot to the knee causing permanent damage.
  16. I wouldn't say he cheered but he intentionally lied to the public....which is a violation of the integrity part of the FCC. I mean it can't be argued. He called the kid MAGA to push a narrative. That is a violation of integrity.
  17. Waiting for the reality show steph cardi, and child. Wish them well but just saying...
  18. Right in my other post to Bundy. A nice table all listed and labeled real nice for ya. Google will help you tie the two names together.
  19. Two Thirds of Democrats Approve of Socialism--a 30 Point Jump in Net Approval in 15 Years David Strom According to a recent Gallup poll, in 2010, socialism had a net approval rating of +7 among Democrats, which is bad enough. Fifteen years later, the margin has jumped to +37 — an increase in net approval of more than 500%. As I wrote yesterday when discussing the bizarre Hochul/Mamdani relationship--she endorsed him, but not the reverse--I pointed to the fact that no Democrat with national ambitions can afford to offend the communists, even if it endangers their general election prospects nationwide. And Hochul wants to be president. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/09/18/two-thirds-of-democrats-approve-of-socialism-a-30-point-jump-in-net-approval-in-15-years-n3806908
  20. Ironic that liberals don't want results for their actions. When that's actually the definition of liberal.
  21. Can you explain, specifically, how Kimmel “cheered” murder? Please cite his exact words
  22. Not even close. You guys fought for the Maryland Dad, a child sex trafficker. You wanted him to stay in the country. Now you guys want to add P into the LGBTQ category for pedophiles. Great job guys, great job.
