its no secret that the NFL is always looking to expand. more teams, more revenue, more reach. been trying in Europe for decades. it makes sense to absorb the CFL and grow the league. the NFL sees all that money that FIFA gets for worldwide soccer and lusts after it. an NFL football World Cup is also something they lust after. all about the money.

Teams like the Saints rarely keep the game close and when they do the Bills never feel like they are going to lose and almost never do. More often, this is a blowout game by 20-30 points, especially against an NFC opponent that doesn't know who Josh Allen is. Think Seattle and San Fran from last year except the Saints have far less talent than either of those teams. Bills might take a little time to get going..it might seem close going into the half like 14-10 or something but then the game ends up 37-13. Once the Bills start the scoring barrage, usually mid-second quarter, they don't stop til the end of the game. If it starts from the beginning of the game, it could get ugly by half-time and be like the Jags game from last year. Yup, we don't need any of them to demolish this Saints team.

Giants' ownership traditionally has been like the Steelers' ownership. Both stress continuity. They stick with their GMs and their coaches to allow them to build the team in their image, allow it all to come together. I never was thrilled with Daboll, and I agree others who have said that his body of work really isn't that impressive. He's bounced around a lot. I also never was a Daniel Jones fan, but at least we could see that he was solid and stable. The fact that Daboll allowed both Jones and Barkley to leave, without any good idea of where they were going, really is the killer for Daboll. Ownership may believe in continuity, but after several years there has to be some evidence that they're building toward success. One basic sign is when the new coach comes in and there's almost immediate improvement. McDermott did it; DeMarco Ryans did it. Others have, too. Daboll came in and nothing much seemed to change.

Keep all of them out of this game. Make Landon Jackson active so Bosa isn't stuck getting 80% of the reps again. Call up Frank Gore Jr so Cook can get some rest too. The only thing that can go wrong in this game is someone important gets a new injury or aggravates an existing one.

How would the Rams or Ravens be ahead of the Bills then? Ravens consistently fail in playoffs with "high end rosters" due in large part to their QB playing his worst game of the year and Rams had one SB win and have been a middling team ever since. Also Ravens have the league's worst defense with multiple all-pros, pro-bowlers and 7 first round picks on it.

Miami was one of the worst games I've seen him play. He was getting beat a lot. I know Tyreek Hill is a tough matchup for any CB but I'm not used to seeing Benford getting dusted as much as he was in that game.

With regards to keeping Kromer around for as long as possible, what's the risk of him being poached by some other team to be their OC? Like I know it's pretty common for good coordinators to get HC gigs but their coordinator skills don't translate to HC success (aka the Peter Principle). I'd assume the same is true for position coaches becoming coordinators, and I'm not sure if he'd even make a good OC. But do we know that he has no desire to keep moving up the hierarchy and is set on being a career OL coach?
