This happens way too often in sports... its too bad... but it is what it is... -
McDermott not in Top 10 of NFL coaches per PFF.
GunnerBill replied to 14774's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is unquestionably true that there is more to the evaluation than winning percentage. It is equally, however, unquestionably true that McDermott has infinitely more input and influence on the franchise than Sirianni does in Philly. He is one of the least empowered coaches in the entire league. His GM picks his coordinators for him. -

UPDATE: ISRAEL v IRAN - Ceasefire reached?
4th&long replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No doubt. Having the uranium is the big thing, building or rebuilding a facility? Not so much? In any case let's hope they stopped them from being able to build a nuke. I would like to believe trump, it's his own fault for being a pathological liar that people want evidence. If he wants that nobel peace prize so bad he should work on uniting or country! I'll personally hand him the award if he can do that! The son of a bi tch wants to unite the world but divide our county. -

I realize many of these athletes aren't the brightest bulbs in the box but how you can blow 100M. Basic common sense open a savings account and don't touch it until retirement age. You would still have plenty to spend on nice things like a home, vehicles, vacations etc etc etc. -
Pegula Divests from Knight Hawks after pulling out of Rochester Lease
Einstein replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall
I tend to believe when several people tell the same exact story AND there is physical proof (they leaked the slide deck from that meeting) AND what they say is going to happen actually starts happening (layoffs started happening right after that). To be honest I think one would have to purposefully ignore common sense to not believe it. -
What do you think Ralph Wilson would think of these Bills?
Gregg replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ralph had his faults, but he is/was and always will be the biggest Buffalo Bill of them all. Like you said the Buffalo Bills exist because of Ralph Wilson. -
UPDATE: ISRAEL v IRAN - Ceasefire reached?
BillsFanNC replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The person(s) who leaked the preliminary intelligence are criminals. Information from the leaked report was then cherry picked to purposely cast doubt on the entire mission. And reliable media outlets dutifully ran with that ball, again. That was the purpose of the press conference, to counter this incessant spin and narrative to downplay the merits of anything the orange menace is involved with. Two things can be true: The orange gasbag delivers messages in bombastic and arrogant tones that can be off putting to many (most). And... He is surrounded by competent and well trained advisors on a variety of levels who know exactly what they are doing. -

What do you think Ralph Wilson would think of these Bills?
SoCal Deek replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Geeez….lots of Ralph hate on here. I think people need to remember that there wouldn’t be a Buffalo Bills (at least not in Buffalo) if it wasn’t for that man. And as I’ve said so many time, without the Bills, Buffalo would be Cedar Rapids. -

What do you think Ralph Wilson would think of these Bills?
JP51 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ralph is cheap! LOL... I get it and he might have been... but honestly over time the old guy grew on me... he loved this team and this city.. he left a significant portion of his wealth here in trusts... he would love to see what we are doing here... he may not have financed it.. but I am sure he is happy someone else is now paying the bills... pun intended... -

It’s not besides the point. Even if they were able to move the uranium, of which there’s no evidence, they need those facilities to weaponize it. -

While this article is from PFF, it really is simply just another subjective listing based on opinion not any kind of data, and for this particular author -- and others -- winning a Super Bowl even more than a decade ago automatically elevates that coach to any "best HCs" list. It's stupid, but it's the way it is. IMO, Payton and Tomlin are also in this group of HCs living off past glory rather than recent performance, especially in the playoffs. In 2024, Lamar was much closer to Allen and Mahomes as a complete QB than ever, but he was backed up by a much better supporting cast than either. The Baltimore roster was clearly superior to the Bills roster outside of QB in 2024, which is why Allen won the MVP despite Lamar having significantly better statistics. Football is a team sport, and Harbaugh has consistently had excellent rosters that he doesn't seem to get the most out of, especially in the playoffs, in recent years.
