A Few Thoughts about the Pats Game - Post yours as well

I washed this game off. Everyone loses a few games. Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Ravens, Packers, Bills, etc.. No one is perfect. The guys won’t rack up penalties and turn it over like that on the same night for a while. -

What you’ve said is true, but I don’t think it really negates the idea that bias from the referees has a significant impact on football games. Im too lazy to link it right now, but I saw a thesis paper earlier this year that showed how the Chiefs had statistically significant help from the referees during the regular season over Mahomes career. Tonight should have been a blowout, and it was artificially kept close by the referees. It’s wild to handwave it all away when the Bills consistently perform worse and have way more penalties called on them when Hochuli is the referee. Not saying it’s the only reason they lost, the passing defense was atrocious, but to pretend that those calls Sunday night were spread between the teams evenly and with the same impact is just silly. -

I think as of right now Allen is tied for the lead in total TDs with Goff and just behind Stafford in total yardage. He does have 3 turnovers in 5 games, which is on pace for like 10 or so. Which isn’t terrible, but not great either (Geno already has 9 INTs, lol). All of the QBs with a lot of volume have similar turnovers right now. If the criteria is “best QB that is the #1 or #2 seed in the conference”, then I’d say Allen is a pretty good bet. Goff has a chance as well, but he’s hurt by the supporting cast argument. I’m pretty sure Daniel Jones will turn back into a pumpkin (even if the Colts keep winning).

I hate the QB bias in the MVP voting. Mccafrey is the entire 49ers team right now. He is their number 1 RB and number 1 WR. He should be the front runner IMO.

I think saints fans are praying to scam a 2nd for him but would take a 3 concussion history and takes plays off. Exciting combo and not a slam dunk wr1 that I agree with though nervous about whether that player would get to be featured

If there was ever a year to really go for it, it's this one. The AFC is more wide open than it's ever been. The best team in the conference has Daniel Jones as its QB. KC has lost its close game magic. Baltimore might miss the playoffs entirely. The path has never been clearer. I genuinely think we are one legit WR away from being easily the best team in the conference. Score 35 PPG and just make a few plays on defense, and who in this conference is beating us?
