  1. Past hour
  2. Not doubting your post, but where did you see he put on more muscle and looks quicker this offseason?
  3. Yea you are way off base. The Chiefs defense did not suck under Sutton. Not at all. They were top 10 in points 4 times in 6 years and top 10 in yards twice. They were good in the playoffs too. There was basically no change under Spags until they threw multiple day 1 and 2 picks at the unit. That is when the D majorly improved. Spags history is he is very good with good talent. But when he had lesser talent he does not get that talent to over perform. As for Philly - yes they sucked in 2023. No question. And Fangio made a big difference. No question there either. But getting a rebound year from Darius Slay, adding Zach Baun and three secondary guys in Mitchell, DeJean and Gardner-Johnson was the biggest change. That talent infusion was the #1 reason for the improvement.
  4. That Greg Bell fellow looked pretty good, bet he anchored the backfield for many years to come in Buffalo! /s
  5. 4-2 before being benched for the corpse of Russell Wilson is not the flex you think it is for a guy who has been in the league for 5 years.
  6. Well the Chargers lost Palmer now. So is Ladd gonna be a 50-50 outside guy? I’m thinking no.
  7. he can't run all those routes with an injured wrist...
  8. From day one Boldin has been my comp for Coleman. Boldin certainly did well playing from the slot, esp with Saints, and I feel pretty sure Coleman can line up as a big slot. But for the majority of Boldin's career, certainly earlier on, he lined up outside and was very effective in that role. Even in his last year he lined up outside for 45% of his snaps. His career average depth of target is 12.8 yards, similar to Larry Fitzgerald or Brandon Marshall. Boldin was also used to attack all field levels and had a diversified route-running skill set. Boldin was slower than Coleman. Boldin was good from the get go. Coleman is more a work in progress. But I don't think he is necessarily limited or incapable of significant improvement/development. Actually I tend to think he can. Like you I say he needs to do what Boldin did - win with ball skills, toughness, length, physicality, smarts, yac etc...
  9. The 2018 Chiefs had defensive talent. They had guys like Chris Jones, Dee Ford, Justin Houston, Charvarius Ward, Kendall Fuller. Sure they added guys and let some guys walk but they weren’t a defense of no-names. Chris Jones was a star pre-Spags and they still sucked. Adding George Karlaftis wasn’t the difference. No more than adding Greg Rousseau was transformative for our defense. Is your take that the Eagles went form worst to first defensively more because they added a starting CB and a part time CB in the draft instead of completing changing their scheme for the other 12-13 guys who were already on the roster? If so, I think you’re wrong there as well. The talent was already there in Philly and they still sucked in 2023. Mitchell and DeJean are both nice players, but they weren’t more important than Fangio.
  10. Tell us you are into masochism, without saying you are into masochism. 🤣
  11. More like they all knew how bad Harris was/would be.
  12. McConkey isn't Shakir. He can play some snaps outside. But he isn't going to be more than serviceable outside. Where he will shine will be in the slot. As for Coleman I said he was a big slot here well before the draft before any of the big name talking heads were saying it. You don't to persuade me on that score.
  13. My concern would be that the PEDs aided his play. In which case I'd have called-it-off if I didn't believe his story after investigating. As for Ogunjobi, I'd have offered a much smaller contract.
  14. No one is saying great WR,so far Colmen isn't even good. It would be nice if fans quit kissing beanes butt and putting their heads in the sand in regards to Kincaid and Coleman JUST because they are on the team. If either were on another team those backing them now would say they sucked and not be giving the bs excuses they are for those players. Bottom line, both need to step up big time this year.
  15. In the spirit of personhood and compromise, I think you’re correct here. @Wacka I follow your posts, it’s great to hear things are progressing and you are receiving excellent care. In the spirit of pretty much any non-creeper on the planet, what an odd thing to say.
  16. This morning I woke up, woke up, I woke up this morning Yes, poor Lightin' sure was please Woah, I woke up this morning Yes, poor Lightin' sure was please Woah, I heard somebody callin' That were my little girl callin' me She called kind of lonesome, she said She said "Lightin', oh Lightnin' Darlin', do you know something keeps on worrying me Woah, lord have mercy Yes, something keeps on worryin' me Woah, I know just around here somewhere But I'm bothered wondering where can you be" And I broke down, and I cried a little while I say
  17. The whining and obsession with wide receivers here never ends
  18. Clearly he was in mental decline. Reagan also may have had some age decline while President. Same issue with senators on both sides. We will watch time catch up to Trump as he will be older than Biden by the end of his term. We definitely need an age limit to run for office at the Federal level, yet politicians won’t address that issue. Biden and his advisors betrayed the Democratic Party by concealing his decline and trying to run a second time. He said he was going to be a one term bridge, then his ego got too big.
  19. Probably, but I still think he has more diversity in his game. I understand that NFL DBs are not the same as college by a long shot. McConkey could play on the outside in college. I believe he'd get more natural separation than Coleman, and he's a polished route runner. Anyway, Coleman is also a slot receiver for the most part, but he has the physical attributes that maybe he grows into a Gabe Davis WR2, hopefully with better hands.
  20. MAGAs: the party of incels, trailer parks, racists and grifters
  21. Hoecht I'd have made the same decision they did. They are signing him for 3 years. 6 games is a small chunk of that. But Ogunjobi I'd have called off personally.
  22. Not a stretch to say it seemed like we had a whole section to ourselves. Game on? Hell no. Party On! Would go down behind visitors bench in the front rows harass the opponent all game. No security to be seen.
  23. They really didn't. They had a round 1 bust and Josh Palmer. And even when they were getting zero production from them they left Ladd in the slot. Because he is a slot receiver.
