haha. Just playing devils advocate. I love Josh. It's no secret that he struggled against the Raven's defense last season, as did a lot of teams that played them. Hopefully they come up with a much better game plan for week one. Go Bills!!

How to make baseball the most relevant sport again? Steroids
US Egg replied to Draconator's topic in Off the Wall
Pitch clock is a reason baseball is at the forefront for me again. Just hope the looming ABS doesn’t muck it up. Baseball was 1st as the sport we played collectively growing up and being in Yankees country made it all the more appealing. I could watch the worst MLB teams play, unlike football. First off half standing around is as American as apple pie as evidenced by the crews of public workers on any job site. Secondly, can your kid senselessly chew and spit sunflower shells in these other sports? Apparently, it’s quite the stress reliever from the pressures of…..having to stand around? 🤷♂️ Took me a bit to get use to it, thought the better teams would be the bigger beneficiaries but that’s not the case. It’s pretty much a 50/50 split between home and visitors. -

I don't think that baseball making steroids "legal" would do much to make baseball more "relevant". I think it would raise all kinds of issues that could make things worse, especially giving the sport a deserved rap for rewarding players for taking potentially dangerous drugs with long-term health consequences. I think the best way for MLB to regain "relevance" is to institute some kind of salary cap to increase competition as the NFL did. Wealthier owners/teams can buy their way to pennants and world championships because they can outbid less wealthy teams for FAs while teams without the ability or willingness to spend tons of money to bring in big time talent frequently become virtual farm teams for the big money teams: they find and develop young players but lose them when they become stars in their own right. Giving teams like the Brewers or Pirates or Padres real shots at winning the WS every once in a while because they have a similar talent level as the Dodgers or Yankees would really fuel interest in local teams and in MLB in general. Everybody loves a winner, and bandwagon fans are better than no fans. -

Honestly, I think the whole HR derby thing just makes the game even more boring to watch. I'd much rather watch guys raking balls into gaps, good gloves, aggressive base-running, big throws on plays at the plate, etc. -
Well done! Just as I suspected…the only current players on the list are Josh Allen and Dion Dawkins. None on defense. Shows just what we’re dealing with on the current run to a championship.

I still remember sitting in the living room listening to the home games on my little transistor radio. Then, anxiously waiting until the next Saturday afternoon to watch “Buffalo Bills Highlights” on Channel 7 to see the game from the weekend before. It was the only way for me to know what the game even looked like. And…it was free!

What logic? Trump ran as the “President of peace” and is now happily threatening to send forces to attack Iran, and your side is going right along with it! -

What I don't like is if the game is tied after 9 innings, then starting in the 10th inning each team has a base runner starting at second base before the first batter of that inning comes up. This is stupid just like the NHL shootout in hockey to determine a winner. -
FO: Bills over Texans was Top Defensive DVOA Ever Measured
DrDawkinstein replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
It had been so long, I couldnt remember the game this referred to at all. Went back and looked it up... 40-0! Then I remembered that streak from Week 2 Miami through Week 5 KC, where we just DOMINATED for an entire month. I think I flushed that whole season from my brain due to the way it ended. -

Just and FYI the NHL draft is 8 days away. 6/27/25

Congrats to the Panthers on a well deserved Stanley Cup win, but their celebration appears to be orders of magnitude smaller than the crowd that gathers at the same venue for every Bills away game in Miami. I saw a report that the Bandits game aired on CW had more local viewers in Buffalo than the Panthers cup finals had in Miami. Its criminal that we do not have a competent hockey team in such a rabid market.

Antonio Brown in big trouble...again

Just a tennis spectators gif...turning their heads left and right while watching a back and forth rally. -
It's not important but he played for Doug Pederson too. He benched Hurts in the last game of the 2020 season that was likely the final straw that got Pederson fired.

I do miss her on some level. Or as Kamala might say “Our hearts yearn for acceptance in the most acceptable sense, our souls stretch across the divide that represents the divide between us, and soap and water ain’t gonna clean anything without a whole lotta elbow grease and some white wine vinegar.” Happy Juneteenth to you as well!

The Bills already made this exact move but at half the price. Bringing an old, injured Tre White back for 1/$3M. Both White and Alexander will play the same roles on their teams.
