Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF

Do we know what is going on with him? It's crazy to me that we would extend him if we didn't know for sure the concussions would not be a concern out of the gate. -

Maybe he's faking being sick just to get attention -
Distrust in the CDC is not because of Secretary Kennedy or President Trump. It is because the CDC allowed teacher unions to write public health guidance to close schools - unleashing developmental delays and mental health problems that will take a generation to rectify. The CDC’s job is to control disease. They receive an F on that mission. America is now the sickest country in the developed world, and had the highest rates of per capita COVID deaths because our health institutions have so woefully failed in keeping Americans healthy. Americans have lost faith in the CDC because the organization spent $900 million on an ad campaign saying the COVID vaccine prevented transmission. Americans have lost faith in the CDC because recent disclosures show the organization knowingly withheld information about myocarditis risk from the COVID vaccines. This doesn’t take away from the dedicated employees still at the CDC and important mission of the organization, but the media and public health “experts” need to grow up and show some humility. Rome is burning when it comes to American health. President Trump and Secretary Kennedy aren’t responsible for our public health crisis. They are responsible for identifying it and channeling the overwhelming (and correct) cry from Americans for reform. If CDC employees want to defend the status quo and aren’t aligned with a reform, they should resign.

ESPN predicts Bills win Super Bowl…and I agree

I'm grateful for Comrade. She forced me to learn how to tweak my profile settings to better ignore leftist trolls. Therefore Billstime's constant attempts to tag me goes straight into oblivion. Anyway, she once tagged my posts with down votes 150+ times in the space of a few hours. Keep in mind I had never once interacted with her before this happened. So yeah a reasonable poster and member of the PPP community. Certainly well qualified to weigh in on the merits of other loony posters.

Agree with @YoloinOhio Not a great start, but the kid has time. But the coronation was premature, obviously.

On what date did the Bills trade for Diggs? March 20 What date was the draft? April 23 So you, as an everyday average Pats fan, knew: One month ahead of time that the first 22 picks of the NFL draft would leave Justin Jefferson available at pick 23 and The Eagles we’re locked in on one guy and That with the possible exception of CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson would outperform the rest of the WEO proclaimed loaded WR crop which included a now incarcerated top WR pick and several other guys that are either bad, meh or took years to develop. Your giant “I told you all so” moment would have a multi year gestation process because of Diggs undeniable immediate impact as a Bill and only fully develop in 2024 or arguably 2023. This proves your point that everything was obvious and Beane is a moron. You’ve almost convinced me but not quite. Luckily there is a way we have a way to test this theory of the obvious: The Cowboys just traded Micah Parsons to GB for two firsts and a DT. Please predict with your Jefferson level accuracy: How Parsons and the DT will perform Who GB will select with each of those two picks, including any trades that may impact these pick slots and How the selected players will perform both immediately after their selection and 5 years into their careers. It’s all pretty obvious, right? Just let us all know what will happen. Thanks.

Anybody see that former OL from Packers saying he thinks he might have a shoulder injury not being disclosed? I truly don't know if thats true, it makes a ton of sense. He could've just been rattled by the most hostile stadium in sports... but damn he missed and one hopped a ton of easy throws... but also dropped a pretty dime later on in 2nd half. Made me think of that UCL injury (aka Tommy john). Ohtani took a year off, yet was able to knock 40 bombs. Its a weird injury. When Josh hurt his ucl I remember hearing something about the shorter passes being tougher, but the deeper passes put a different strain on the arm and actually felt more comfortable to throw. Am I imagining that, i swear to god I heard him or someone else talking about it after the season. Would seem to make a ton of sense to me. The kids annointed as chosen one and now cant hit a 15yard out route? Characteristics of that injury atleast visually made sense to me 🤷
