That as a great hit! Seemed to me he had a good game. Didn’t know who he was, but saw him in on several plays. -

We heard the same about Brian Daboll. How's he doing in New York? -
Some people (not in this thread necessarily) still talk about Bass like he’s a young player that just needs to get his confidence back. He’s a 28 year old vet in his 6th season that has been a below average NFL kicker the last 2 years. And that’s after Beane made him one of the highest paid kickers in the league. Not saying Prater has locked up the job or anything, but Bass really needs to prove himself when he comes off IR or his future should be in doubt.

Bingo. If you sat down with McD over a beer and he was totally honest he would tell you that everything went according to plan tonight with the exception that the D allowed to many 3rd & long conversions. What we're seeing is by design and it started last season and so far the Bills are 16 - 4 in the regular season and 2 - 1 in the playoffs doing things this way. -

I think Coleman will keep getting him better. The back shoulder he dropped is a play he will hit more consistently in the second half of the season. But he is not going to suddenly become a pure separator outside. Palmer is the guy we paid to play that role and he was invisible tonight against a horrid group of CBs. Just like last year it is going to be up to Cook breaking one or Allen improvising to create explosive plays. Otherwise it is going to be 10 play drives of perfect execution to get into the endzone. We've shown that formula can work, but there were a few times tonight we really NEEDED someone to make a play and nobody could until Zach Sieler made it for us. -

The bills offence went 3 punts in a row against the worst defence statistically in the league in the 2nd half. So while yes the defence can't get off the field, Those 3 punts in a row has nothing to do with the defence -
Kicker decision between Bass /Prater

I appreciate the wishful thinking, but that didn’t look like a slip. I would love to have him explain what happened, because he shanked that horrendously. -
That was a championship level play by Bernard

I'm actually rooting for Miami to win and stay at least mathematically around playoff picture so they don't just give up the season and trade Hill to the Chiefs -
I realize Ed was missing but so was Rousseau. Only one of those two were hurt. You expect players making 20 Million or so a year to step up and make a play here or there regardless of the circumstances.

Are fans of the Buffalo Bills really debating that Josh Allen and the Bills can't successfully throw the football? -

Joe Brady is going to be the most sought after coaching candidate in the league in January. It would be smart to enjoy him while he is here. -
I think they severely missed more play action tonight. Force the backers down into the box and use your TEs like they did early on

It's almost as though the Fins injuries in the first half knocked the Bills out of sequence. After imposing their will, there were the two poor calls/plays which led to the missed FG, and things didn't look the same after that. -

and thats a huge reason why wr dont get seperation. nothing/no one is spread out. -
We have a WR separation problem, again. If the TE's continue to emerge, it won't be that much of an issue. We still have 17, and he has been successful either way. 3 more TD's tonight and the Bills are 3-0. I will say this, don't be surprised if Gabe makes his way to the 53 when he finally gets healthy. Also, don't be surprised if Shavers' number of reps continue to increase.

Really? Did the Buffalo Bills lead the NFL in scoring last season? Some forget that Buffalo was 6-6 with Josh throwing it all over, and meanwhile, Miami was 9-3 and looking to win the division when Joe Brady was hired to replace Ken Dorsey. Yeah, and Buffalo beat Miami 21-14 in that last regular-season game in 2023 to win the division. -

I have to say that I was really impressed with Shaq. He had several nice plays, including that monster hit on Achane. -
Just because Rapp was formula fed we don’t need to assume it’s completely destructive

Enlighten me on how other teams are built. weve watched KC get to the Super Bowl three years in a row turning into a dink and dunk offense that’s WORSE than ours. Baltimore has two hall of Famers that collapse the defense and force the opportunity of downfield passing. I don’t think Allen can adopt that offense and stay healthy throughout, he takes too much contact philly has a similar offense to ours as well, just worse this season Detroit is a new wave offense, but they have sacrificed their defense to staff it and they won’t win a Super Bowl with that defense being so bad the only offense that maybe is a bit more downfield that has a better chance to win the Super Bowl is Green Bay, who is a huge unknown and mortgaged their future regardless

Bruffalo replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, and I think it’s a conscious coaching decision to be boring until circumstances dictate we have to let it rip. The Bills are one of the most disciplined football teams in the NFL. They’re constantly methodically marching down the field and scoring, and they do it at a high level of execution most of the time. They’re daring other teams to do the same, and betting on the fact that they can’t, or that their variance is too high to make it sustainable for their opponents. -

idk....the last game in the playoffs against kc looked exactly like this if not worse. I think they want a slow safe game where they can take no risk and try to control the clock. sometimes it works...sometimes u have to rely on luck at the end of the game. -
Have not seen the missed FG play? Did he slip? Poor hold? I love Praters ability to place the kickoffs in the corner pretty much every time. Has done a great job except for this miss but he did connect on the one to ice the game. From what I understand a player on 4 game minimum IR has no designated time to come off IR. I say keep Bass on IR and go with Prater until he proves you wrong. Honestly, I’ve had about enough of Bass.
