Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?
dcinmuncie replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can anyone other than Cole bishop lay the lumber and get a f&&&ing tackle? I can’t believe I’m saying this but he may be our best player on defense right now -
Allen missed a wide open Knox on the final play

Yup, Knox was open because of Davis PI penalty, Kind of unbelievable how clueless people are. -

I simply hate watching this defense. Aging, undersized defenders who can’t tackle, get pushed around and constantly get hurt. It’s painful. McDermott usually finds a way to duct tape it together long enough to give the offense a chance, but it’s no way to win a championship. -
Photoshop Josh’s head on there and make the weight the Buffalo Bills logo and that’s where we are at…

I think I know what the problem is. I think they need to Just keep drafting more defensive linemen -
Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard
Mike R replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s not happening. The team will only go as far as the offense can take them and they could do nothing and had no answers against Atlanta, Miami and Houston. The defense is flawed. To think the Bills can go a playoff run against the best teams is delusional. The Bills were pitching a shutout against the lowly Dolphins until the 4th quarter. This team has no heart, energy, passion or sense of urgency. It lacks talent and is also at a coaching disadvantage. There is no way to turn it around. -
It's whoever decided to do a drop-back hand-off to a stationary Cook (no running start) 5yds behind the LOS on 4th and 1. That was crunch time. Our inability to control the D line was well established by then. Let's assume one of them called the play (B) and the other didn't call it off (McD). So both.

Ive been an advocate to keep McDermott for the most part. The more these issues go on the harder it is to fight that corner. I honestly don’t know where we go. The offense is struggling which might be down to personnel but they can’t seem to do anything consistently aside from Cook making some magic happen. The defense is a shambles at times though I will say they do make some reasonable adjustments at halftime to remedy what they’re getting beat up on. Tough position. The more things go on, the more I’m willing for what you suggest. Sadly.

Lets start at the top, Beane's poor drafting and big contracts to average at best players is killing this team... Time for a change. HC - Our Defensive players are small but they make up for it by being slow and injury prone, doesn't matter because they can't tackle either. This Defense is record bad against the run and Seemingly every road game the team looks flat and can't wait to catch the flight home... Time for a change. OC - I've seen enough of Brady and his awful plays. The misuse of Shakir is criminal with those stupid and worthless tunnel screens. The end around plays that never work etc ... Time for a change. This team won't win the East and therefore IF they make the playoffs it'll be a road game and McD has never won a road playoff game. Running it back next season won't be the answer. -

Lot of typing to explain why you sh*t all over yourself with this gem: “The first part is a hoax. Straight hoax. Try and find the data. You can’t, because there’s no truth to it.” -

Great write up, @Virgil. Unfortunately, at this point, there isnt much left to say. It's all the same *****. Losses to the Falcons, Dolphins, and Texans in this season where the #1 seed was just waiting for us to take it is completely unacceptable. 20 frickin points in the first half to Davis frickin Mills. A complete travesty by McD and crew. Unfortunately, I'm going full into college football until these jokes are canned. All of us Bills fans deserve better than this. -

DapperCam replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
They showed a good behind the QB view on the broadcast and Allen had already begun throwing to Palmer when Knox came open. Palmer was also open for a TD, but Allen felt pressure from in front and never set his feet so it was a bad underthrow. -
They threw the ball downfield constantly vs the bucs with an insane level of aggression. I thought they finally " got it " McDermott then got scared and told Brady to dial it back because of the turnovers and his defense. They treated the texans with too much respect because the head coach is scared

If the Bills fall short there will be LOTS of talk of, “is this the end?” It’s already heating up. I work from home mostly now and have a TV in my office. I’ve been watching a lot of the talking heads over the last 2 months. The chatter is there. I don’t have the heart or energy to watch today but it’s coming. I agree about the comfort but the Bills are his baby (and his family’s). I don’t think we can take much from how’s he’s handled the Sabres. There is no pressure for that. The Bills have an infinitely bigger microscope AND the MVP of the league. If you had a $20K car and a $100K car would you handle them the same? This is an even more extreme example.
