  2. Kyle Brady reincarnated
  3. Diversity is overrated
  4. Jack, Jim and Josh - we've enjoyed some real royalty at the QB position over the decades.
  5. Hawes reminds me of Kyle Brady from the 90s. Great pick
  6. KC fans keep telling me that the chiefs don't care about the regular season.... That they're not really trying
  7. This will be true every week until the end of the season. As a certain QB likes to say, we need to go 1-0 every week.
  8. How do you know I have'nt already?
  9. Yeah, Jim looks great, in fact better than in years. Great to see and hear our hero in this interview. I hope Josh follows his lead, stays in Buffalo for the rest of his life, to some degree, and becomes the Prince of Buffalo. Before eventually taking over as King.
  10. Shavers is the Lee Smith of receivers

  13. Oh yeah Completely different being a Yale graduate and being a high school coach or division 3 coach lol NFL coaches one of 32 in the world so that's more prestigious than most things.. you can even retire early from that and do something till you're 60
  14. But Cook and Davis make a dynamic one two punch, as they have such different styles of running. Using Davis more, such as in situations yesterday in Pittsburgh, would open the offense up more, enabling an even better running attack and opening up the passing game which is much needed right now. It would rock a defense even more that way, demoralize them more. And that lack of diversity in the running game would likely change because different backs do better in different plays and have different styles for defenses need to focus on. Even more importantly, with the lack of a good wide receiver group, using two backs more, and getting all of the backs involved in the passing game MUCH more help the passing game come alive. Get these dynamic pass catchers the ball! Been saying that for the last few years, thought this year that would be the case from the get go. It has not. A poor use of some of the best offensive talent on the Bills right now. But I agree on the lack of pass catchers, and Beane seems to just be digging his heels in now during the season.. Why not sign Jacobi Myers when he was available? And even more recently, Thielen?? Makes no sense--how could Beane look at what the Bills have and determine those two players are not upgrades for the dismal wide receiver group? Makes me lose some hope in this year.
  15. Blood pressure pills I stopped caring whether Notre Dame wins in the natty or not I just told myself it's never going to happen ever again a decade ago lol I think Oklahoma is in a better position to actually win a National championship whenever long-term
  16. I'm looking forward to HOU@KC more than Bills game. And I will root against the Chiefs. Maybe my hate towards KC has gone too far...
  17. I’m more so speaking of the Steelers, but if it had to come down to it I’m picking the ravens whom we’ve beaten twice in the playoffs over the Texans.
  18. Sorry I don't agree. Buffalo having any path that doesn't include either the Ravens or Chiefs is the best possible path. And yes. I watched the Houston game... I'll take my chances with JA17 getting a 2nd chance against Houston over Lamar or Mahomes. Gimme the easiest path please.
  19. Bills 5 wrs Gabe Palmer Shakir Shavers Cooks Coleman - inactive?
  20. Stats are like a bikini - at first glance they appear to reveal a lot, but upon closer inspection they tend to conceal the important bits.
  21. Mmm hmmm https://www.factcheck.org/2020/04/the-white-house-spins-trumps-disinfectant-remarks/ um, yeah... we were there to witness the whole enchilada. To his credit, at least pre RFK Jr., he actually did get effective treatment concepts... such a vaccines, 'warp-sped'. With all that said, his mind now appears on par with a sprouting potato. Can any of y'all address the original concept of this thread, or is it all going to be, "yeah, but Obama..."?
  22. Until the Chefs are truly out and conquered for the season…
  23. Well apparently Bill Maher and Zohran Mamdani have found a way to deal with him. But they are better men than I We have a President who invites the leader of a nation of one of the most consequential wars of the past century, then sigs his little lap-B word on him over his wartime attire?? Seriously??? Where was Vance to mock a leader of the 911 harborers and a journalist murderer? A man wearing a dress and tiara to meet the President of the United Stares? Oh wait... now I get the confusion.
  24. I'm already done with Davis to be honest. Dropped a TD against Tampa, failed to get both feet inbounds at the end against Houston on a play that might have won us the game, had his typical route miscommunication with Allen leading to an INT against Pittsburgh. I'm so over it. Targets in his direction are 50/50 whether they'll be a big play or a complete disaster. It's actually starting to lean more 40/60. We worked so hard to remove Davis' brand of chaos from the game script only to welcome it back because we put ourselves in a corner. I'm good with Brandin Cooks taking his job permanently. Four things I immediately want to see less of in this offense, in this order: 1) Passes to Elijah Moore - one down, three to go 2) Passes to Gabe Davis 3) Passes to Knox 4) Forward passes to Shakir By and large these plays have been black holes in our offense all year long.
  25. Shavers will be here at least through 2026 (as he's under contract through next year) and will get a jersey every week as a bottom of the depth chart WR for his blocking and Special Teams alone. He really doesn't provide much as a WR (the Tampa Bay game had more to do with them having a *terrible* Pass D) - but he does what you want out of a 5th WR. Which is play Teams and Block your tail off.
  26. Kincaid is definitely our most important pass catcher. He's the only one that Allen inherently trusts, which is a big step forward from last year when the two were frequently not on the same page. It is weird though that we're calling him a key player when he was only in on 41.5% of snaps prior to injury. But he's been ridiculously efficient with a 155.6 passer rating when targeted. He's mostly useless in the run game because there are just better blockers than him on the roster, but our pass game is almost non-functional when he isn't on the field.
  27. I go back to the play calling and game plan against Houston, in not working. In the Bills second series, they ran for 6 yards on first down and then a negative-2 yard pass to Shakir (the dreaded WR screen?) Then a 2-yard run and a punt. Cook had 17 carries for 116 yards at a 6.8 yard per carry average in that game, and yet Joe Brady called for 34 passes. Not just any passes, but mid to deep passes with minimal pass protection against a great defensive front. That's what went wrong in that game. If the play calls were similar to what he called against the Steelers I'd wager it's a win.
