Tomlin is overqualified to be our DC. You can’t be serious! One of my major issues with McD/Beane is our lack of quality coaches. Tomlin would be huge for this team, bring back Daboll too..
-
I'd say John Stallworth, but we already have Tyrell Shavers, so..........

To be fair any high school team that even has seven FCS players on it let alone 4 FBS and three FCS players on it is a really good football team Even UB has more players on NFL rosters right now that a bunch of college football teams.. they literally have the same amount of NFL players as Georgia tech and Indiana and more than Kansas in the NFL right now Those are three programs in the Big 12 ACC and Big ten UB has the same amount of players and more with way less of everything.. it's a blessing to get a scholarship offer from the University at Buffalo or army or any of those schools

Why would we want that? Tomlin has less time as a DC than Babich.

Id say if you want to change things like morgage pricing you have to look into regulations that are suffercating building them. I live in new york and its well known that blue areas are over regulated to the point its worthless to even try without having another half of the building cost set aside for numerous inspection/ permit / survey / enviromental impact groups. This seems like state issues that need the people to address to there leaders, but they wont, because opposing such gov interventions means you are republican. What you want people to live in unsafe homes? What you want to harm the endangered gophers that reside on the building land? When it comes to college i think gov being involved in guaranteed loans is the problem. In that case you would have to start denying people that A) dont seem like a good fit or B) are going into a profession that has zero chance to pay it back. Again i think democrats would lose their minds if there were barriers, logical or not, to denying upper education to people. Its why we have so many usless majors and and prices skyrocket. Supply and demand. Everyone can get in for any reason and its all guarenteed by the gov. As for the economy. I agree its shot. At least tariffing is a way to force people to consider american manufacturing based on price if its effective. It certainly isnt quality of product. That pride went to profit awhile ago. Its definitely isnt a sense of keeping fellow americans buisness and jobs going. Noone cares. Dems are opposing even those rationalities. Everyone wants the cheapest version and who cares From what i seen from presidents its at least a attempt to push scales in american manufacturing direction. It certainly wasnt NAFTA. So while id like it to be targeted its at least a attempt. Im 100% with you on 50 year morgages and such being a incredibly lazy way to deal with a issue. Its most likely going to make it worse as people who otherwise could not afford a house jump in to make the market worse with little regard to them never actually buying it. But i didnt hear anything at all from the other side the 4 years they were in power and seems more gov oversight somehow forcing price fixing such as ny mayors gov stores and rent freezes are a way to address the problem which is just as useless and lazy.

Good point! The way this team has so many injuries at the end of the season, t makes good sense to have decent back-ups ready JIC.

He said almost. No one is always right.

Thank you. Yes! Exactly! Slays not going to fix our issues.

Would Tomlin come here and be our Assistant HC / Defensive Coordinator??

The Thanksgiving Day Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and The Dallas Cowboys has now become the most Watched Game in the history of the NFL. 57.23 Million (YES... 57.23 Million) viewers tuned in to that game between Kermit and Dak. The numbers that CBS had sent out were as follows: 1. The 57.23 million viewers topped the previous NFL record by +36% (42.059 million for Giants-Cowboys on Thanksgiving 2022). 2. Viewership peaked with 61.357 million viewers between 7:45-8 p.m. ET. Not only was the Chiefs/Cowboys game the only record setting game that day... 1. FOX said that 47.7 Million viewers watched the Packers upset the Lions which was the most Watched game in history on FOX. Viewership peaked to 57.957 Million between 4-4:15 EST. 2. Thursday Night Game- Bengals/Ravens game averaged 28.4 Million views over NBC, Peacock and Telemundo. That made that game the most Watched night Thanksgiving game in NFL history. NFL viewership has gone up this year and lets just say Thanksgiving this year was a big hit for the NFL. Expect the same this week on FOX for the doubleheader with viewership hitting a high with the primary 1:00 game being Bengals/Bills and the late game Bears/Packers. https://www.nfl.com/news/chiefs-cowboys-thanksgiving-most-watched-regular-season-game-nfl-history

Metcalf. If the Steelers are on the hook for some of that crazt contract especially.
-
Nah I just did the Bills games and that’s what you get. 50% for 10 wins. 77% if the other win is the Bengals actually, I guess because we really aren’t competing with the Bengals for a wildcard. Honestly I think 10 wins gets us in easy, I’m not too worried about missing the playoffs this year which is why I want the Chiefs dead haha.

no, it's not. even the poverty level numbers aren't 40% and poverty level is determined by family size which is not broken down for this statistic. Foreign born does not equal non citizen. if it did, Melania and her family would not be citizens. And I'm pretty sure W. Va and Mississipi have plenty of first and second gen immigrants. So all 1st gen citizens are not really citizens? Do tell. I'm not against providing gov't support to citizens needing it but it appears the Somalis are economically progressing faster than many citizen groups starting in poverty. Good for them. And I never mentioned race. Mississipi has a large black population many of whom have been here for many generations, starting as slaves.

Week 14, Bungles v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

In the NFL you can never have too many corners.

Pretty shocked by everyone saying there's nobody or it's just DK and TJ. Derrick Harmon is the DT many of you wanted in this year's draft... first round pick, looks awesome. Might not fit the new system. Kyle Duggar and Jabrill Peppers will both be free agents. Solid depth at Safety and the type of hard hitters we want... unless you're happy with Poyer again next year. Isaac Seamalo's contract is up after this year. Solid veteran guard... which we might need. Shoot, I'd even look at Brandin Echols as a cheap nickel replacement for Taron Johnson if we cut him. There are plenty of guys, but we can do this exercise with any team. Better to do it with a dumpster fire team that will sell off like the Vikings or Jets.

Week 14, Bungles v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
BuffaloBillyG replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
With both defenses being not so hot and both offenses being able to pile points, naturally this will be an ugly low scoring affair. Bills- 20 Bengals-11 -
I actually agree 77% for 11 wins seems low. There seems almost nothing realistic you can do with the playoff machine to get the Bills to 11 AND have them miss out. But I have had another play with us at 10-7.... I repeat.... 10 wins is dicey.

Its OK for the Bills to be a run-first team
GunnerBill replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think Brady is Ben Johnson (although Ben Johnson's passing game isn't that creative either it is in the run game he is a genius) or McVay etc... but I personally don't think there is a lot wrong with his passing schemes. He does have a smallish group of pass concepts he likes a lot and calls with high frequency but some of that in my opinion is there are very limited things this group can do. So he deserves some of the 'blame' sure. But it is 90% a talent issue to me when I watch the film. -
Im with you on WTH aren't we moving the pocket?
