Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
The much maligned PFF has him as the highest rated bills player and a top 10 DE in the league to add some fuel to the fire 😂. Obviously a grain of salt type thing but I have never seen this big of a PFF/fan disconnect in my life haha it’s really interesting -
I don't see that happening, sorry. Just because they won some close games doesn't mean anything. They have been steady and winning all season. We have been all over the place. There is nothing to indicate we have the capability this year of winning 6 in a row. There is nothing to indicate they will lose 3 of their last 6.

As @Kirby Jackson posted in another thread. You don’t win because of the gap between Dawson Knox and Quentin Morris. You win because of the gap between George Pickens and Elijah Moore (or even Josh Palmer). Maybe that’s a good way of putting it. The Bills would rather have Knox and Palmer than Pickens and Morris. If you give them 4 players they’ll take the 2nd and 3rd best over the 1st and 4th. I just don’t think that’s a championship plan. That’s how Carolina was built too. They were both fortunate to get MVP QBs. You never trade a dollar for 4 quarters. Beane would trade 10 dollars for 40 quarters if offered. A fuller roster of B to D level talent isn't winning you a Super Bowl.

But he hasn't had Josh Allen throwing him the ball 😉

She has to do something. The can't keep...Alice in Chains...
-
how many made Josh Allen better , and his life easier ?
-
It's called building a fuller roster. Look over our WR and with a straight face that you think that DK Metcalf and all the other WRs combined in Pittsburgh are better than our pool in Buffalo? Cuz you Metcalf and elite talent.

Josh Allen turnover narrative, rollercoaster narrative...
Slack_in_MA replied to Kelly to Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh is one of those unique talents that when he makes a mistake, it's amplified by a factor of X. I've lived in the Boston area for over 30 years, through all the Super Bowls, and witnessed the same thing about Tom Brady. He'd throw a pick or fumble (yes, it actually happened) and people would be dumbfounded-- must be someone else's fault, he's a unicorn, etc, etc. Fortunately for Brady, he had SB success early in his career, and didn't have the same weight of expectations hanging over him his entire career. Deep down we all know it-- life isn't always fair. -
Did anyone mention how close Diggs and Cooks are in age? He might have one last run left in the tank.
-
Chris is going to become double annoying
-
But he has 19 catches in 10 games.
-
Sorry bud but Im not wrong. We aren't in good position being the last seed of a WC with 3 teams within a game of us. I stand by what I said, we are in must win territory and losing to the Steelers could be the final nail. Being in good position means you are winning or at least have a chance to win the division and you have a little cushion. We burned through that cushion with 6 games to go. I'm not saying we won't make the playoffs. All I am saying is we have no more room for error.
-
He's very good, of course, but he can't stay healthy.
-
Not sure but we still have 11 more passing TDs. But you only canpass it to WRs, right?
-
I can't wait for a screen pass to cooks 2 yards behind the LOS this Sunday 🤣
-
So what does this mean for Keon Coleman? They can only carry but so many receivers.
-
And sometimes all you need is a guy that can make a catch on 2nd and 6 to move the chains to get a first down so don't go to 3rd and 6 and eventually punt the ball.
-
Our WR have combined for 7 TDs this season. That's gotta be near the bottom of the entire league, right?
-
Jotdan Phillips time in the NFL is all but over. Not trading Kincaid, no way.
-
Palmer was one of the 5 best WRs in the off-season. I'm sick of people commenting on McConkey because he doesn't give us the outside WR we lack. 60% of his snaps are in the slot in LA. What WR got moved at the trade deadline. Jakobi Meyers wooo another slot WR.

A classic Beane move: find your answer to the receiver problem in the scrap heap of discarded players no other teams want! Beane "The Dumpster Diver" This guy is an embarrassment.

I've done this in a Primo, which is the same as a big green egg, except made in the US. Two things I would disagree with: In the link, he recommends basting it every half hour. In a ceramic, like the green egg, the benefit is keeping the moisture in. If you're basting, your losing all that moisture and dramatically changing the cooking temp. In my mind, a very bad idea. Basting is putting liquid over skin, which works for about 10 minutes, then rolls off or is gone. I think dry brining for 48 hours is a much better idea, and if you soak cheese cloth in a warm butter/herb mixture, then wrap the turkey, you don't need to baste at all. Just remove the cheese cloth the last 45 mins or so to crisp the skin. If I'm going to use a ceramic, I'd do it low and slow, 225-250. The problem with that is that it is quite difficult to predict the cook time to get the turkey up to temp.
