  2. Seriously if I was a retired doctor, this message board would be the absolute last place you would find me.
  3. He added tampons to the boys bathroom. Winning!!!
  4. And likewise would not worry about the deficit or the national debt either. Reality is a real pain in the ass. We're boxed into a corner by the high debt load and obscene levels of government spending. As a nation we're faced with the inevitable decision that we need to cut our spending and standard of living somewhere, someplace, and for someone. But where? To cut the deficit in any meaningful way one or all of the following biggest spending items need to be addressed: 1) Social Security 2) Medicare 3) Medicaid 4) Defense 5) Interest Payments on the debt Pick one or pick two of them to address and then fight the special interests that will refuse to budge on any cuts or baked in future fiscal year increases. Address the interest payment problem by cutting spending and running surpluses to pay down debt. Or like Trump is doing, take the easy way out of it by moaning and groaning and complaining until the Fed cuts rates to save the government from borrowing more at higher rates. Who is going to entertain a political fight to cut anything? Nobody yet. The most likely scenario is neither political party will have any interest in addressing the growing national debt until something breaks, causing an "emergency". The the Fed will step in but they can only do so much. Basically, save two of the three items below. Pick two. 1) Save the equity markets 2) Save the bond and credit markets 3) Save the dollar. You can't save all three. My guess is they're pick 1 & 2. So at that point everyone can be happy with all-time highs in the stock market and big 401K balances denominated in dollars that don't buy much as each unit of currency is worth very little. Which leads me to conclude getting a good percentage of your assets out of the dollar, like we've seen with this tariff madness, and into things like emerging markets and hard assets, is a good idea.
  5. More of kai @trans_them greatest hits... Absolutely shocking intersectionality at play here.
  6. No he isn't. Not even close. He has elite vision. He sees gaps that other backs, including Davis, miss.
  7. a bevy of rocker chicks in this iconic as it gets. Moulin rouge Christina Pink Lil kim mya
  8. Dang, I didn’t realize he put up the stats he did year one. I knew he had a good year, just never looked into his actual numbers. Hopefully, Coleman steps up this year. I like the little midseason stretch he had pre-injury, but he’s got a lot to prove. He wouldn’t have been my choice for a receiver in the draft last year, but I’m not ready to write him off yet.
  9. Bingo. He is not a back that can run behind a weak line. 0 power. Hes only dangerous staying clean in the backfield and through the hole into the secondary... eating once in the secondary is a real skill set, just not one we have the luxury of paying for. Give that $$ to a WR or somewhere else next year. I'll die on that hill
  10. I missed this when you posted it. I can't view it I wish I could 🙂
  11. Let’s look at root cause for a moment - why are those lots vacant to begin with? Also does the zoning part of it have any relation to Minneapolis being under the control of democrats for decades on end? What has your guy, Coach Tim, done to rectify this?
  12. I don't blame him at all. RBs have like a 5 year shelf life... and 1st rders get 5 year rookie deals (i know cook was 2nd). Nflpa will have to renegotiate the RB rookie contracts to ever get this fixed. Cook is worth a raise, and someone will give it to him, just not us and shouldn't be. Our OL parts the damn red sea. Im ready to see Ray Davis take the crown here. Dude finished the season with nearly as many yards and more receiving TDs than Cook, with probably 25% of the snaps. He can pass block. Running the ball won't be a problem, and Davis will do more in the pass game. Why in tf would we pay Cook? Absolutely insane. No hyperbole trade him at the top of his value. Laugh all you want but Ray is a better fit for our run game too IMO. Ready to get roasted 🤷
  13. Everything is back to the way it was in Minneapolis. Move on. - Roundy 😂 Serious question Roundy, do you ever tire of taking massive L's here?
  14. You were whining about a vulgar joke made by someone on a message board. What does that have to do with being president? Can’t believe you hit submit reply on this one. Good lord.
  15. Kai @trans_them has spoken! Sorry about your twitter feed but it is curated based on your interests, correct? With unhinged people like you wanting ICE agents murdered, do you really blame them for covering their faces?
  16. I'm not, nor ever will be president. Important distinction, dumbass.
  17. Yes, I think anonymous jack booted “police” using zip ties on children is a bad thing. And many people also feel this way.
  18. The story appears to be about why the lots are vacant, and explains that zoning and financing new builds are the reason why. Seems pretty simple to me. No, I do not equate the attempt to end the peaceful transition of power to Biden with protests of police brutality. If you do, more power to you. Don’t forget to change your drool bib.
  19. In life I've found usually the one complaining the most or loudest & casting blame is the one that is causing the problem !!
  20. Patti LaBelle lady marmalade
  21. I meant he loved Josh in the following draft and might have pushed for them to draft him. I don't know.
  22. If Cook was the best by far then he would get a vast majority of the touches and the contract he desires. You are making this personal when it is just business... why pay a guy who is in a rotation that much a season when you have two fully capable RBs on the roster?
  23. What a dumb "article" from Florio. It's literally nothing. I get its the offseason but atleast string it together with other teams nfl news like a quick hit. I got the same exact thing out of the headline as reading the article. Such a hack
  24. Offensively I think they want to use screens and gadget plays more while taking shots downfield slightly more while retaining the "ball control" ground and pound offense. I would love to see the data on the screen game the Bills incorporated in 2024 as while it seemed to be there a bit more than in the past it was also still not that much of a staple of the offense. I think Brady will make that more prominent. Defensively I wonder if the system is gonna be stress tested early in the season. See how the new look secondary plays and how good the pass rush is and adjust accordingly. First 4-5 games of the season do they kind of do the more bland disciplined McD zone coverage rush 4 defense to see how good their D-line is and how good the secondary and LB's cover. Then if LB's and secondary are crushing it they can blitz more knowing there's solid coverage back there or will they adjust the philosophy if there's some growing pains there to have more in coverage consistently? What I would like to see from both sides of the ball is to see if they can "reserve" 10% of the playbook for the playoffs. It always seems like KC in particular almost has a small portion of their playbook they leave off film but practice behind closed doors for the playoffs. Like they save their best plays and concepts for big games in particular ones with the Bills. It would be one interesting to see if that's the case and two can the Bills do something similar?
  25. The question is why is Minnesota Public Radio putting this out there? You have declared it a non-story. You neglected to answer the question about Jan 6. Do you believe we can move on? Are your beliefs consistent? That last question is a rhetorical one.
  26. You can keep telling yourself this. Whatever helps you rationalize Trump’s little Stasi.
