Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF
fergie's ire replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
What I found odd, is that a couple of years ago, he was very critical of Josh turning the ball over too much. He even said something along the lines of "I understand that he is taking chances and that he can complete many of these throws that nobody else can, but still, he turns the ball over too much for my liking." I think that's a fair criticism...but really odd coming from Warner. He was part of the greatest show on turf, and Mike Martz actually said that he told his QBs not to fear throwing interceptions. He wanted them to throw fifty fifty balls down field, knowing that with their receivers it was more like 75/25. It seemed odd for a coach to say "I don't care if my QB throws an interception," but even stranger for that QB to later saying he doesn't like seeing QBs turn the ball over. -
I think we keep Braster as our kicker,

The Ravens have played half their games against the top two scoring offenses in the league. In their last game they were missing half their starters against Mahomes with Worthy. We are only four games in, tossing out "last in scoring" is worthless. Detroit put up 38 against the Ravens and then put up 34 against the Browns who are supposed to have an elite D this year. They gave up 40 to Josh Allen in an amazing Josh Allen type roll and given at least one short field. Stats are hard enough to make sense of in a 17 game season, raw ranks like this at less than the 1/4 mark is worth less than a quarter of a pail of spit.

Why does MAGA protect pedos?

I don’t dislike Bass. I was rooting for him last year when he had the yips the first part of the season. That said, knowing there’s a strong chance that we’re playing for the #1 seed as well as the Super Bowl, I think you go with consistency here. I think I saw a stat where Prater is 24 of 25 on game tying or winning field goals in the fourth quarter or overtime in his career. That’s as good as you can get without being perfect. The last two Chiefs losses in the playoffs have been by three points. Go Bills!

It clearly appears to have been a turning point in the draft, since about half of the next 15 or so players are in the same boat. I bet some of them were on inferior rosters, as well. I think a true and fair picture of the situation would include those facts, as well.

Can you even imagine the meltdown if Obama...

I think they will activate his window in the ramp up to the Panthers game but probably give him the full 21 days to get more comfortable on the leg and get some reps under him.

Just stop. The "little guy," depending on your definition of that, which is not clear, doesn't pay income tax. The overwhelming numbers are on the non little guy, and you can do the work yourself. It's easily found. Further, this country excels economically because people of means invest and provide capital for growth. This punish the investor class is suicidal, and thankfully, hasn't taken hold here, other than silly crap on social media and clueless politicians who have benefitted immensely from it.

Yes the jury is still out on BOTH defenses. The one good/great O you faced they gave up 40 points after that you faced the Jets, Dolphins, and Saints.. lol I don’t think anyone considering them great or good O especially with Tua this year for Miami.. The Pats D has played well enough to be 3-1 the O 100% lost the Steelers game with turnovers but they don’t pass the eye test it’s scary every time they are out there it feels.. So the Jury is also out on them even if if scoring D wise they are top 10.. they to have faced no scary good O yet till the Bills this Sunday.. Also my statement about the Steelers was more about the fact it is impressive because it’s a better D than either team has faced so far.. not that Buffalo recorded is tarnished by who they faced.. you win the games you have in front of you and they did. And the Ravens aren’t just bad on D they are the WORST D in the NFL right now.. injuries happen and they SHOULD have enough depth to win these games or at least help keep them in the games.. they have not they are awful.. and I won’t lie I don’t know if they were or were not 100% in game 1 all I can do is go by their stats and statistically they are just awful everywhere on D.
