  1. Past hour
  2. That is an insane contract. Wow. Packers really mortgaging their future here but 2025 looks very promising. I could see them making the SB.
  3. Assuming this was her most recent tour, your daughter went to the most popular, greatest performance tour in our lifetime. I’m sure they enjoyed.
  4. It’s going to be tough playing against the Packers in the Super Bowl now
  5. The question should be, why the heck is Beane addressing this now!?
  6. You guys are ahead of me, so I’m curious to hear your thoughts. My Doc (who we LOVE) gave me a thumbnail sketch of options for the type of lenses available. It may have been a bit of overload, tbh. What kind of lenses do you have and why? Are you happy with the selection? What are your suggestions?
  7. Von had 8 sacks in 11 games before he tore his ACL. I still think it was a good signing that got screwed by bad circumstances
  8. It would be funny if Kenny Clark sits out and demands a new contract.
  9. I assume almost no way Bills could have freed up the coin for that contract. Dumb move by the Cowboys. You don't trade a difference maker edge rusher in their prime for any compensation, let alone that. Jerrah is far from top of his game, that's for sure.
  10. I prefer the middle route. Instead of 50 mil/year a top 3 non QB guy, maybe get 2 or 3 elite players in the 15-20 range. Beane usually just likes to shopping at the bargain basement. The one time he did swing for the fences on the Von Miller deal it turned into a big flop. But at the same time he had the sneaky good signing of Leonard Floyd who got us 10.5 sacks for like 8.5 million.
  11. Speculation. The Bills and all other teams bring in kickers and other positions for work outs all the time. Good intel for either when you need them later, or for the practice squad.
  12. Lol 20 pages
  13. I really hope next year there's a way to get us in a cap position next year where we could afford these kind of season-changing deals. The Cowboys were willing to trade within the NFC, against a team they play this year, and get rid of a player that's 3 years younger than TJ Watt. The contract is huge, but just like with QB contracts, it'll only look better 4 years from now.
  14. Oh dang, we could've signed Parsons for $400k?
  15. Green Bay plays at Dallas Sunday night September 28th!
  16. Proving you dont read posts when you get your panties bunched
  17. Lol.. isn't it ironic to see this thread just above the Jordan Poyer thread. One team getting a generational pass rusher and another gifting $400K to a washed up safety.
  18. Glad he's staying in the NFC at least!
  19. This safety issue we perceive seems not an issue for Coaches I suppose. I would have wanted to solve this one much earlier in the NFL season via FA. They have a plan , I guess 😇
  20. Go geocaching. With health the last few years, I was limited to get-togethers but am going out more. Can do it basically anywhere in the world. I think the only places that may not have one are N. Korea and Turkmenistan.
  21. While not in the same division, I can’t imagine Dallas wanted to trade with the Eagles, Packers, or 49ers, which makes me believe this was the best deal they received. Considering everyone was speculating it would take at least two 1sts and a player, I think the market was less than speculated. Granted, for those upset with the Cowboys, could they have physically paid Parsons even if they wanted to? Dak and Lamb are making top 3 money. It would have been almost 150 mil for just three players. I feel like that’s roster suicide. Ask the Bengals
  22. Unperturbed you say ? I think it deserves monitoring. Hopefully , is not a word i much care for when rating players lol
  23. There's no other way to spin it: Waiting until a week before the season opener to do this deal -- rather than announcing back in March that he was available and having teams bid against each other and almost certainly drive up the return, plus giving your team a chance to use the draft and free agency to find defensive reinforcements and prepare for post-Micah life -- is idiotic. Based on what GMs are telling Jordan Schulz (who's probably the most connected NFL guy these days, more so than Schefter and Rapaport), most NFL teams agree, and are laughing at Jerry's strategic botch. Also, getting only two late 1sts and a 30-year-old DT for a player of Micah's caliber is a loss. MAYBE if the stars align you can replace Micah with one of those picks (though its doubtful that you're finding an edge rusher of that quality as late in the draft as GB's pick will likely be), which means you ultimately added a late 1st and a 30-year-old DT in order to have the "honor" of not paying one of the game's most impactful defensive players. Organizational malpractice. Jerry is in over his head, and if Cowboys fans weren't such an insufferable bunch, I'd feel bad for them.
  24. Hopkins has not had great success. He's been up and down ever since he left Buffalo including last year. He just got beat out by a rookie. But he is an experienced veteran and Im surprised he is not being looked at
  25. The compensation is fine… 47M per ? lol wtf… that payday is what’s keeping me from being upset at Noy making that trade, glad he’s in the NFC and now we can all move on.
