The very good are not as good as they get credit for because the competition and equivalency is so watered down George kitttle, for example, is an elite TE but probably not even top 10 in the last 30 years. Same with Kelce. I don't know if one right end playing right now beats: Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, Gronk, Shannon Sharpe, Vernon Davis and Greg Olsen are just off the top of my head. These guys blocked, ran routes, and didn't live in a super big passing league.
