I like it. Davis dropped weight and doesn’t look as good this year (admittedly small sample size), plus with how well Cook is playing and how good Gore ran in the preseason I don’t think the Bills lose much while getting that pick back. Those saying Knox is being supplanted really don’t get it. At all. The Bills like all three TEs and use them in different roles. Knox isn’t going anywhere and is a big part of what they’re doing; he’s playing over 50% of the snaps.

While it is definitely true that the Bills have had some success with draft picks even where they haven't had much impact their rookie season but you are confusing Cook with Singletary. Gore was long gone by Cook's rookie year - though Cook was stuck behind the bang average JAG that was Devin Singlepurpose in his first season.

Knox seems superfluous at this point. Would anyone be interested in Samuel? Epenesa? There are potentially pieces that can be moved.

Lol, I’m sorry if a **** song gives gives you all sorts of feelings. I don’t like the song (or hate it). I have no feelings for the song itself. I like that the crowd loves it. I like that the players like it. A bunch of you are injecting your feelings into this discussion. There isn’t a debate as to whether or not they went crazy. Of course they were celebrating the TD. The song amplified it as the crowd LOUDLY sang it. That’s what DID happen.

I didn’t see a thread posted on the topic. Over the last few years the NFL trade deadline has been active. Contenders have added pieces. This feels like the a good place to throw out ideas for both the Bills and other teams. Obviously there are cap considerations with any move. I had one idea and that was reason enough to start this. Ray Davis to the Cardinals for a 4th or 5th? The Bills recoup the draft pick that they used on Davis. It gives them ammo to deal elsewhere and gives Gore a shot at that spot. The Cardinals are without their first 2 backs. If Davis plays well he can be a part of their backfield rotation moving forward.

I believe it’s Prater’s job until it isn’t. Unless he begins missing kicks it’s his job. It wouldn’t surprise me if Bass is out all year.

Um yes they were, I was in the crowd and hardly anyone bothered singing or even standing up once the TD celebration had died down and the song was still playing then

Isn’t good in Pee Wee league at age 5 and gets worse as you get older. Much less as a professional NFL Player (I use professional loosely in his case). Any boss would laugh you silly while showing you the door in the real world.

Sorry, man, the idea's dumb. We won't be facing the Chiefs in the playoffs with this defense. Because if the return of Hoecht, Ogunjobi, Big Ed, Milano and Hairston doesn't make them demonstrably not "this defense," then the further maturation of the rookies who are already playing certainly should for anyone with a lick of common sense. I hear they've got this mushroom coffee, to help wean you off caffeine? Supposed to not be that bad. And yes, you're the one trolling. 'Nuff said for me on that.

Seriously? Good lord, dude, not even slightly close. Something to watch? Yeah, sure, though pretty much everything is. But is his seat hot? Hell, no. The idea's ridiculous. Again, if you look at the defensive performance in the playoffs, it's good. Very good. Except against the Chiefs. That's where the problem is.

This coaching staff would do that then sign another washed up player like Tre White to start. This staff is unbelievable!

It's good that they want us to get a corner but they forgot safety. We need to trade for both positions and grab a couple early in the draft.

C’mon Doc, be nice. You’re an excellent poster, but Ethan although sometimes prickly, also gives a darn about the Bills. I kind of like the deep dive. It tells me it’s not that easy to break in right away for a mid round pick, especially on a very talented team. I did laugh though.

I’d hate to trade a productive player for someone who won’t even see the field like mcdummy is famous for doing. Might as well just cut them instead.
