Training Camp News - Around the League version

The Bills once tried to trade for a dude who slept with another guys wife. They also signed a notorious pest in Incognito who was playing with a divisional rival. Wilkins is an irritant, but I think these guys are pretty good at understanding and compartmentalization between the lines. -
According to Google AI: Average Earnings: In 2024, the mean average college football player earned approximately $40,800 in NIL revenue. The median total earnings were much lower at $928, showing that high-value deals are concentrated among fewer players. Deal Distribution: Many players have multiple smaller deals. 54.5% of deals were valued between $0-$100, and 91.5% of deals were valued at $5,000 or less, according to NCAA data through October 31, 2024. Total Market: The total NIL market for 2024-25 was projected to reach $1.67 billion with football accounting for 42% ($700 million) of all NIL agreements. Power 4 vs. Group of 5: Power 4 athletes (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC) earn more on average, receiving $75,390 compared to the average of $39,944 for all college football players. Top Earners: Players like Shedeur Sanders ($4.7 million) and Arch Manning ($2.8 million) had estimated valuations in the millions in 2024. Also relevant is that there were thousands of NCAA players that received NIL money in 2024 whereas at any given moment there are less than 500 UFL players. Final rough estimate is total NIL money for NCAA Football player in 2024: $700 million Total compensation paid to UFL players in 2024: $32 million

NFL Players in Hot Water for Scalping SB Tix
Captain Caveman replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think so, I'm pretty sure the players pay face value for the tickets, so assuming they sold for 200%, and paid 100% originally, now have to pay 150%, they are down 50%. -
Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause
Augie replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s the way I always understood it, if you want that language, I want something in return. Why did this take so long, but then…..Bengals. Now, how will the Bengals bungle Hendrickson? I think it’s fine entertainment, personally. You get to say you won the stupid pissing match. -

It’s pure greed. These guys bust their butts off to make it to the NFL and the Bengals are going to make things sour grapes over a few measly dollars?? -

That shi**y organization is at the very top of my hate meter… I hope nothing but bad things for that team, I’m petty. -
maybe. i try to think of the palestinians humanity being more important to the Arabs. I don't think they'd starve them out for profit. then again, they dismembered Kishogy and trump did nothing. it's is all about the money. It's just how far someone will go into evil to get it. Do you believe ethnic cleansing has any place in a civilized society?

Is Israel Committing Genocide In Gaza?
Wolfgang replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
100%... There is a problem with the rest of your post however... You are right, but thinking too small... There are energy pipelines at stake... There are hundreds of billions in natural gas reserves off of their coast... Look into Genie Energy... Board of directors list... Many other such companies ready to move in... The problem in Palestine is that the entire world, even the Muslim world, sees profit in the genocide... There are no advocates for these people who can resist those forces... -
Maddy Glab is always the one who gets deservedly lambasted, but OBL as a whole is borderline unlistenable. It's state-run media put out by the Politburo so it was never going to be particularly thought-provoking, but Brown and Tasker come off as smugly dismissive any time someone says anything negative. Terry understandably wouldn't want people he has on his payroll to say negative things about his franchise, but it makes it tough to get through. They should spend more time on japanese beetles.

This is ethnic cleansing, pure and simple. Then they can turn the prime land into condos and hotels along with all the usual beach paradise strangeness. And they're starving people for it. so you agree. easier to type. the aggressor should fix it but in this case there are plenty of non Israeli source ready to aid the starving.
