Hypothetical NFL players that could be traded for a 1st
Kirby Jackson replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not to be nitpicky but I HATE this argument. This holds true for every single position. In fact, I’d venture to say WR success early, especially lately, is a higher hit percentage than most other positions. For every Josh Allen there is a Trey Lance. For every Joe Burrow there is a Mac Jones. For every Aidan Hutchinson there is a Jermaine Johnson. For every Penei Sewell there is an Alex Leatherwood. I posted it earlier in the thread but basically 23 of the top 25 WRs in football were drafted in the top 3 rounds. Their average draft position was 41. I’ll bet that’s as high of a percentage of elite talent as any position outside of QB. You can’t be scared of missing because it’s tough to find elite talent later and the top guys don’t go to FA anymore. -
I guess it’s safe to say that you and I are interpreting the purpose of this thread’s creation differently.

It's from the same tweet that confirmed he tore his ACL and then deleted (if it ever actually existed in the first place). It's all speculation at this point and no one knows what's true except for the people at 1BD. -

My actual guess is they have a suspicion nothing confirmed yet and they don't like that someone "confirmed" it. Hope I'm wrong. Really think he's a huge factor in winning a Super Bowl. But I do have faith in Tre/Strong. They're just missing that elite speed element -

OJ Was one of the greatest RB's ever and one of the Best Bills as a football player. He was a disgusting POS as a human being. So I appreciate everything he did on the Field as a Bill, but after that...

They’re just going to have 3 sports orthopedic surgeons all look at his mri +\- physical exam. And then they’ll report it. It’s just taking some time lining up doc appointments. Cursed bills team. Yet another 1-2 round draft pick we will get nothing out of -

I said it before but it bears repeating: in all my years of watching football, I’ve never seen or heard of anyone collapsing to the ground after a non contact knee injury that didn’t involve tearing a ligament. I hope this is the first case ever so I’ll have a reference to draw from in the future. -

Same thing with Kohou on the fins. He went out of practice on Saturday and confirmed it yesterday. Could be a bit until anything for sure comes to light. I'm sure tomorrow morning it will be "we are still monitoring to see where he's at" -
That may be true but usually there’s more than one non confirmed source putting that out there. Also, they’re stating that it’s 100% confirmed so that would go against your point. For example, when the Seahawks third string running back just to his ACL, it was all over the legitimate news that they were concerned he tore his ACL. Where is all of that speculation from legit sources on this one… Could just be different teams, but it seems like there would be more rumor out there than just one site
