Lol, good or bad for me, I love how y’all put yourself up on your own little pedestals like you’re somebody... More murders do not happen without guns. Feel free to look at the murder rate for Canada and Western European countries vs that of the United States… The United States has a significantly higher murder rate than the European Union; while the US has an average homicide rate of around 6.8 to 7.1 per 100,000 people (as of 2023/2024), the EU's intentional homicide rate was 4.1 per one million women and the overall rate is much lower than the US, at less than 2 per 100,000 people, according to some data from the early 2020s. Last I checked they still have all the same sharp pointy things we do… but you expect me to believe that the murder rate would stay the same if we implemented similar laws, because? Serious conversations about what to do? Oh you’re making it a Race issue? I see, you want to go back to “40 acres and a mule” or “manifest destiny”?

Biden's Post "Presidency" -- What Will He Do?

Please pray for my daughter. She is 16 and has an evil eating disorder that has turned our lives upside down. I use the football side of this board as a distraction but on this other side of the board I am hoping that prayer helps. I believe in the power of that. She’s a beautiful, brilliant, amazing girl who is facing a really hard battle. She’s in the ER right now and they may admit her due to her super low heart rate. Oh and eff cheerleading!!!

So our hatred of the Dolphins in the 80s and 90s files Josh today? I like it…

Holy crap, I'm finally coming to Buffalo! 53 years in the making
DrMaxPower replied to Hellcamino's topic in The Stadium Wall
This post hits home! Never been anywhere near Buffalo/WNY but had to make a pilgrimage before they close the barn. As an 8 year old watching the 1990 Superbowl, I had to pick a team to cheer for. Apparently I'm a glutton for punishment because I stuck with them ever since. The only kid in school with a Bills hat when everyone else was wearing Niners or Cowboys or Lolphins. Taking my dad to celebrate his 75th birthday and bringing my 8 year old son. I've been bookmarking posts for a few months on where to eat and what to do. Looking forward to making some memories! -
Turn Down The Temperature: Unity? NOT HAPPENING

So now that I'm getting to pay attention to you I don't know if that's good or bad for you I guess being concerned about gun violence is great. But a lot of people are concerned about violence overall, and more violence happens with non guns and it does with guns. So, yeah we just call that violence When you're trying to attack on this gun violence label when you're making it political, whether you intend to or not. But you don't seem like I'm outright fool like half the some of this board so I'm going to guess political statement And that's too bad. Because when you look at the facts of gun violence you have to look at who the perps are in that case and then you have to have serious conversations about what to do. -
The last game at Ralph Wilson stadium against the Dolphins in primetime under the lights would be a perfect opportunity to wear the red helmets and have Miami wear their white throwbacks.

I care about kids, about ending mass shootings and senseless gun violence in this country. I happened to ventured over here and was shocked to see the rhetoric, and my big mouth couldn’t keep from atleast interjecting my two cents bc I think it’s important for people who seem to have been brainwashed that if you voted for Democrats you are evil... Not sure how you ever achieve progress when you think people are inherently evil for simply thinking the government should be run differently than you do.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Sadly we're not even in the worst of times for American politics and violence. But, you know most people are stupid and think this is the worst of times so here we are -

It was also the same cliff she drove past with Cary Grant in the Hitchcock classic “To Catch a Thief “. It’s a little known fact that Hitch loved the color blue. Coincidence? I think not.

It's not widespread. BS You can find these violent groups on nearly every campus. Here are trans/q.u.e.e.r journals from Northwestern, Duke and VCU. All promote Marxism. But stop calling them commies. Also, it's not happening. ABSTRACTS FROM TSQ: ▶️A Small Piece of Red Sky to Fly In: Transition Pending Revolution A specter is haunting transgender studies—the specter of Marxism. Recent years have seen the emergence of numerous trans scholars, militants, and organic intellectuals championing the centrality of Marxist analyses of social life to a thorough systemic understanding of trans subjectivity, oppression, and liberation. ▶️The Political Economy of Sexual Identity: From Gender Performativity to Social Reproduction This article makes a case for developing a theoretical account of historically determined gendered, trans, and ***** epistemologies out of value-form readings on social reproduction. The materialist turn in ***** studies is revisited here first by critically engaging with Meg Wesling's GLQ article “***** Value” (2012) in order to present a non-ontologizing conceptualization of labor that would avoid politically

Let’s go with full disclosure shall we and let everyone know the background of the person doing this “interesting reporting”. That way we can all understand where he might be coming from and assess his work product accordingly: Kenneth Klippenstein[1] (born February 1, 1988[2][3]) is an American journalist who worked at The Intercept.[4][5] Prior to joining The Intercept, Klippenstein was the D.C. Correspondent at The Nation,[6][7][8] and previously was a senior investigative reporter for the online news program The Young Turks.[9] His work has also appeared in The Daily Beast, Salon, and other publications According to The Daily Beast, Klippenstein "has a history of pranking unknowing targets on Twitter".[46] After a Twitter flame war with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, he shared a Voguephotograph from the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty showing Musk with Ghislaine Maxwell, a long-time associate of the late Jeffrey Epstein, who had been convicted of sex trafficking.[47] Twitter owner Musk responded by posting that Klippenstein was a "douche-about-town".[47][48] On January 9, 2024, Klippenstein and other journalists were abruptly banned from Twitter without explanation.[49] After the ban received media coverage, Klippenstein and the other journalists were reinstated.[50] In July 2019, Klippenstein was covered in the media after a Twitter incident in which he was retweeted by Iowa Congressman Steve Kingjust before changing his Twitter display name to "Steve King is a white supremacist".[51][52][53] In March 2021, Klippenstein pranked author Naomi Wolf by recommending she tweet an image of a fabricated anti-vaxxerquotation paired with a picture of American pornography actor Johnny Sins.[54] On Memorial Day 2021, Klippenstein tricked political commentators Dinesh D'Souza and Matt Schlapp, as well as Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, into retweeting a photograph of John F. Kennedy's assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, whom Klippenstein claimed was his veteran grandfather.[55] After being retweeted by Gaetz, Klippenstein changed his display name on Twitter to be "matt gaetz is a pedo". Gaetz later deleted his retweet.[56][57]

It's the "cheering a murder" thing that's problematic, not "every stupid thing" anyone has said. You sure are here bloviating a lot about what you "don't care" about. I care, thus, I am here. -
Anyone who spends the majority of their life and career being recorded, scrutinized and over-analyzed is going to have a few blips here or there that are either out of context, misunderstood or even wrong. Charlie for the most part, given the videos I’ve watched over the last 4-5 years, is a pretty compassionate person and one who was always willing to passionately and patiently debate with any side of the track. This video clearly highlights that and a special nod of consideration to the woman he’s engaged in conversation. Where did we go wrong over the last 40 years where we could have civil discourse on disagreements of ideologies, beliefs or values? Sad and tragic we let things get in the way. It’s very easy to be kind, loving and patient. Seems for a lot of people it’s easier to be rude, tasteless and hateful in today’s age.

I just pop in and out from time to time, I’m not a regular or anything… sorry to burst your guys’ bubble as being some board regular using a burner. Just some rando who’s tired of seeing people gunned down. I really thought the Las Vegas mass shooting was going to be a turning point for this country to wake up. Then I was certain Uvalde would… Now I know nothing will. To be fair, there’s lots of conservative policies I do agree with. I think these bail reform catch and release programs are joke, along with defunding LE. I believe in states rights over big government. I feel there should be tighter abortion laws. But I also feel gun laws need reforms along with a huge investment in mental health care in this country. At the very least on the state level. However you can’t sit here and complain that these mass shootings or trans everything is all mental health issues but then not address the mental health epidemic facing the nation. Reforming gun laws doesn’t mean revoking 2A but the gun lobby will never let you think otherwise.

Exactly and precisely this. Luck is a factor. But with precision and consistency over time like this, other factors are larger. Never worse than 4th in the league at takeaways five years in a row? Luck isn't a major factor. There's something in our - dare I say it? - our process.

How many home games do you attend a year?
4thAndInches replied to vanhalen26's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've been a season ticket holder since I was 15 years old in 1974, and bought 5 games in the inaugural Rich Stadium season, 1973, including the stadium opener vs the Redskins. I never missed a game, preseason or regular, until I moved to California in 1993. I returned to Buffalo in 1995, and have gone to 90% of the home games since. Given it's the last year in the current Highmark, I plan on going to every one this year. I don't go because "I GOTTA SUPPORT MY TEAM!!!!" or anything to that effect. I go simply because I love going to the games. The atmosphere, the excitement, the thrill of being at an NFL sporting event. Each week between September and January, only 16 cities in the country get to host an NFL game, and I'm there at one of them. I get chills just thinking about it. I've seen every kind of abhorrent fan behavior possible, the foul language, the end zone fights that were so prevalant during the 80s and 90s, the drunk guy laying in the urinal trough after his friends tossed him in there, sex in the stalls ..... And I can't get enough. It's part of the ambience of Bills Mafia. And I won't give it up till they put me in my grave. -
Isn't based on what the home team chooses, if Miami where all white, we have to wear all blue. I don't know I'm just asking?
