  1. Past hour
  2. 1. Kincaid had very good game 2. Hawes had a TD and good blocking 3. No drops for Knox (of course, no catches either!)
  3. We definitely did not have 250yards passing vs jets
  4. ROI on COOK has certainly been more valuable so far. He is what he is by now. Fits Beanes great talent evaluator ability regarding the dl position. At least he’s better than boogie I guess or Von for example. Great guy , but as others suggested , maybe calling him moot or root might be more appropriate Maybe he will show up on the all 22 , so the experts can explain how you lack understanding ( sarcasm) of his stardom. 😂
  5. What did you think of going for the field goal with under 30 seconds left and a 7 point lead. It worked out but I would have either run the ball to gain a couple more yards or punted to push them back. My fear was the risk of missing the kick was too high and giving them a short field to go for the win (with a quick score and 2 pointer). I thought our D could tie them up for 25 seconds if they were deep and no time outs left.
  6. I think the TD to Kincaid was the only completion where the ball was thrown more than 10 yards downfield, and probably only 2 or 3 attempts past 10 yards (drop by Kincaid in endzone, pass interference on Keon on 1st drive, ???) Granted, we are scoring points but to get to and win the Super Bowl we need to be able to have a downfield passing attack and stretch the field
  7. That was my initial thought. Guy had been hitting a fade and then he's facing the tee shot that demands the draw. Hit one like that yesterday at Torrey. Lol
  8. Are we going to pretend like ZERO of his throws against Baltimore were at all dangerous/lucky? Half of me LOVES this statistical distinction a lot. Such fundamentally sound, effective, consistent performance on the field. The other half of me HATES how deliberate/predictable and frankly boring the Bills are overall (outside of Allen's penchant for magnetically entertaining football). I get that it works. I love that it works. I want them to win. But I HATE when they lose because that's no way to go down.
  9. Accurate, quick decision maker, but immobile and a complete noodle arm. Paying Dan Marino money for Chad Pennington talent.
  10. It didnt help, but the Bills not being able to get off the field on 3rd down was the killer. Giving Josh the ball a couple more times wouldve put the game out of reach much sooner.
  11. OP called it....nostradamusbillsfed1....
  12. That mulligan almost cost us the Win - and totally changed the entire momentum of the game - it gave the Dolphins hope as opposed to being totally deflated I think if he made that FG - Bills win handily
  13. I have no evidence to prove you wrong about Rousseau's quiet, mostly stat-less effectiveness, but it immediately reminds me of how some fans defended Tremaine Edmunds for years.
  14. AJE is just as worthless as 50. We're still patiently waiting for these 2 to ever breakout. I don't think it's ever happening. Thank God for Joey....
  15. I'm not feeling generous after watching the Bills struggle with the 0-2 Fins. Cook Bernard That's it.
  16. It's staggering that Tua makes 53M/yr. Almost as much as Josh.
  17. While I don't think panic or anger (over the passing game) is warranted, I DO think an objective reviewer could acknowledge the team's consistent scoring success and STILL have concerns about the lack of verticality to the Bills passing attack. Right now, the Bills DOWNFIELD attack is actually handing off and throwing short to James Cook and letting him break it (or damned-near break it but get tripped up, as we saw several times tonight). The fact that the Dolphins sacked Allen twice, which seemed like "coverage sacks" (at least one of em), and the Bills sacked Tua exactly zero times, tells me our guys were better covered than their guys for the most part. Except over the middle, where I thought Allen and Co. could have feasted through the air on nearly every snap. Attack Tyrel Dodson and whoever else plays up the middle ON EVERY SNAP *****. It was there over and over. Bills offense should have put away the Dolphins in the 2nd quarter tonight. They had several chances to. When the Phins lost yet another CB, who else thought the Bills should have targeted that and been more aggressive tonight?
  18. If he didn't play for Miami, I would feel bad for him and Dolphin fans. Is there another QB who is more the opposite of Josh Allen than Tua?? Small, injury prone, weak arm, terrible leader......have you ever seen a QB throw more passes behind the line of scrimmage than Tua did tonight?? I'm pretty sure I saw a smile on his face when he was running off the field after the Bernard INT.....what!?!? Why would Miami spend so much money on two WR's if they have a QB who isn't equipped to use them properly?? Enjoy living in purgatory Miami for as long as you are shackled with the ridiculous contract you gave to a small, noodle-armed QB who will never even be a top ten QB in this league.
  19. I'm not sure Brady is adept at scheming a downfield passing game. But I certainly wouldn't label it a problem when the Bills are 3-0 while the offense is averaging 34 points a game and has yet to turn the ball over. I think every OC in the NFL would be happy with those numbers.
  20. In some ways I hope that you are right, Pats would use Sept/Oct almost like pre-season to determine their strengths for a Dec/Jan role. Hoping the Bills are doing the same.
  21. FWIW PFF has him graded as their 12th best EDGE this season (not including tonight's game) with an 82.5 grade which is just below elite by their metrics. Not that PFF is gospel but it indicates he has been performing well at the little things that you don't really notice live because the impact on the play isn't obvious. The problem is we're paying him $20M per year and you expect more than just "the little things" for that contract. He has yet to flash once as a pass rusher this year. If Bosa and Oliver and Walker can provide the flashy plays while he's doing the dirty work I guess I can live with that but it's quite the contract to give out to a guy that is basically just a role player.
  22. I miss when you used to be good at trolling. Made the board more entertaining.
  23. What a steal in the draft!! 3 games into his career, and he's already making big plays. His play was certainly noticeable today...keep it up, big man!!!
  24. What shocked me tonight was the several times players ran in out from 1 or 2 yards deep. Simply kneel and you're guaranteed great field position at the 35. Our kickoff coverage on that opening 54 yard return was awful.
